iOS 10 watered iTunes update and picture Capture

iOS 10 watered iTunes update and picture Capture

So I have a dear a few applications and functions I always use Snow Leopard on a Mac Pro. Updated my iPhone 6 and iPad 2 Air more iOS 10.0.1 today. Went off without a hitch... to the... I plugged in the desktop...

Both devices trigger the pop-up asking to "Trust this computer" and iTunes implements that an invalid response was received from the device. By telling the trust doesn't make NO difference, restart the iOS device makes no difference. For wifi connections do not work or the other (iTunes wifi sync).

Any suggestions before I restore my backup iOS 9? Was going to order a Plus 7 but the upgrade to the new software Mac OS as Mavericks/El Capitan is NOT an option.

So for you iTunes connect to iOS 9.x, you need iTunes 12.x or better that requires OSX 10.8.5 or better.

Recently, I updated my iPad iOS 9.2.1 air and lost thousands of pictures in the process. I tried to restart my iPad, juggling storage iCloud in the settings but nothing works. After research, I've seen people with the same problems which supported their pictures have been restored in a very short time after (in minutes). • An error occurred installing iOS 10 / can't update via iTunes

I have the same problem as many others displaying without finding an answer. My iPhone 6 has not been able to update since iOS 9.3.2. The obvious solution is updated via iTunes, but when I try it, iTunes says "this version of the iPhone (9.3.2) software is the version current." iTunes is up to date. I am running Mac OSX 10.7.5.

Please suggest a way to update my iPhone.

    Hi benbencaro,

Thank you for bringing your problem of update for Apple Support communities. From your post, I gathered that you tried to update your iPhone 6 to 10 IOS through iTunes, but you can not. I have an iPhone 6 as well and I was very happy to upgrade to iOS 10. I'll be happy to help you with this.

iOS 10 requires iTunes version 12.5.1, which is available on Mac OS X versions 10.9.5 or later. You want to upgrade to El Capitan. Before the upgrade, it's always a good idea to save the Mac with Time Machine. The following items go on the means to backup and upgrade of Mac OS X.

Use Time Machine to back up or restore your Mac

Update of OS X El Capitan

Then, once you have upgraded to El Capitan, you will want to run the software updates from the Mac App Store. This ensures that you get the latest version of iTunes version 12.5.1 on your system.

Update the software on your Mac

Once you have set iTunes to update, connect your iPhone to your Mac and create a backup on iTunes (if you don't have one in iCloud) then you can upgrade to the new iOS 10.

  • Why iOS 10 requires a GB of 2.31 on iTunes download and live only 1.1 GB for iPhone?

    Hello eveyone,

Does anyone know why the download for iOS 10 via iTunes takes a 2.31 GB download all live only 1.1 GB?

    Thanks in advance

OTA updates are specific to the device and don't understand what is needed for the device being updated in order to minimize the amount of free storage, an iDevice must have to update. iTunes always download the full installer universal iOS given that the download is saved, not compressed and run from the computer, not in the storage of the iDevice.

  • iPad iOS 3 9.3 update failed and now stuck in recovery mode

    Hello

When the update of iOS was released, I first downloaded iTunes may and then I press the button to update. Unfortunately, the update process is stuck with the message "Waiting for iPad ' for 30 minutes. After that I disconnected the iPad I'm not able to recover from the iPad. I can put in restore mode. When I chose to restore the iTunes unpacked iPad iOS 9.3. By pressing the button restore the iPad change from the "Connect to iTunes" screen for the Apple Logo, he's retired (Message of ITunes: 'Prepare iPad'.) Then the Apple Logo with an empty progress bar is displayed and the message on iTunes becomes "Waiting for iPad» and more coming. I tried 2 different Macs, 4 different cables. Any idea?

Press the sleep/wake and home buttons and keep them for at least 10 seconds.

    Try using DFU mode:

    • Connect your device to your computer via a USB cable.
    • Turn off the device.
    • Press and hold the Power button for 3 seconds
    • Press the Home button while holding the power button and hold both for 10 seconds.
    • Release power but KEEP the Home button NOW button.
    • After about 15 seconds, iTunes will tell you that it has detected a device in Recovery Mode.
    • Restore your device

  • iTunes update iOS iPhone even if request the latest version installed

    Hello

My version of iTunes [12.3.2.35] asking to update my iPhone to 9.2.1 software even though I already have installed 9.2.1 on my iPhone 6.

I have an iPad Air that is synchronized in the same library, also using 9.2.1 but the correct version is detected and I do not receive the prompt to update.

What is the cause and what should be done. Thank you.

There was a version update of iOS 9.2.1 released for iPhones which fixed an issue with Touch ID and error showing 53 (the update applies only to certain models of phones) - Apple has maintained the updated 9.2.1 IOS version but the build number (the number after the 9.2.1 on your second screenshot) will change. Update the phone via iTunes on your computer (I do not think that the update will appear directly on the phone in settings > general > software update) it will stop and prompt to update (taking a backup to first copy all purchases to your computer's iTunes library and grab your own copy of important documents or photos, preferably)

  • 'Connect to iTunes' after the iOS 9.2.1 update

When I connect my phone to my laptop today, iTunes informed me that iOS 9.2.1 was available. I tried to update and put it away for awhile, but when I came back, he showed the connection to iTunes screen. I force close it down (home button pressed and power at the same time) and tried to "update" it via iTunes Apple Support page said. However, he said that my iPhone "is not found. What should I do? What I really need to restore it? Or is there a solution that allows me to keep all my settings, photos, etc. ?

If the phone is not recognized in iTunes, you may need to restore. Should have saved the first phone when you first connected to iTunes. If you need to clear the phone, there is no way to recover what you lost without a backup.

  • App is stuck in the update and will not delete IOS 9.2

I have an application that gets about 3/4 of the way through an update and stops. I tried to remove it and I confirm delete but it does not delete. The App Store app, it shows if it is on the cloud and not my phone. How can I fix the problem?

    Hi Scott_E,

If I'm right, you are having problems removing an application that updates 3/4, and then it just stops.

    Try restarting your iPhone:

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Red slider appears
    • Drag the slider to completely turn off your iPhone
    • Once the iPhone is off, press and hold the sleep/wake button until the Apple logo appears.
      • Once you have restarted your iPhone, check if you can remove the app, or if the application is able to be updated.

Try to connect to iTunes and App Store:

    • Open settings > scroll down and tap on "iTunes & App Store > type on your Apple ID > tap Sign Out."
      • Once you have disconnected, reconnect and check if you are able to remove the app, or able to be updated.

Try to reset your network settings:

    • Open settings > tap general > tap reset > tap reset network settings > enter your password if prompted.
      • Once you have reset your network settings check if you are able to remove the app, or able to be updated.

    I hope this helps

When you have installed iTunes, and you download it from anywhere other than the Apple servers. There is a new version of the 12.3.2.35 installer that came out some time around 23/24, which can solve the problem for you. Download and install on your existing copy.

When the iPhone is connected and Photos opens, select iPhone in sideba of the windowr of Photos. Then, uncheck the option 'Open for this iPhone Photos' below the toolbar.  Do this for all your iPhones. The hook should be unmarked for each device individually.
