Satellite A300-1EI - how do extended warranty service and the uprising?

Recently I bought laptop Satellite A300-1EI of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. While I was on the http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com site for the check of the Standard warranty, I came across the information that I can point and uprising guarantee international service for my laptop up to four years.

When I use the link available on the site, she is seeking for * agreement number *.

But if I visit my guaranteed standard page, it is given to be n/a, which cannot be used here. Let me know the procedure involved in extenting and international warranty for my laptop to uplift service.

Please give me advice so that I can make use of this option provided to fix my laptop.

As far as I know, warranty contract number are in the box when you buy an extended warranty.
This number is available only if you buy the extended warranty, it should be on the left, if you open the box of the guarantee.

    Satellite A300-17N doesn t have serial port and AFAIK no Satellite A300 was equipped with this port.

    But I saw a few online shops, they listed an Express card that offers the serial port (RS232). I found one on Amazon:

    I think it would be easier and less expensive way for serial port. :)

    I recently bought a Satellite A300 - 1EI PSAGCE, which by default comes with Windows Vista Home Premium.

    I intend to upgrade the operating system to Windows Vista Ultimate Edition, but I am not able to find the drivers for vista 64 bit from Toshiba Web sites. When buying the laptop, I had asked expressly the Toshiba seller if I can move on to the final and he convinced me that I can.

    You asked to you can upgrade Vista 64-bit operating system and sellers said yes.
    Well, of course, you can install the 64-bit Vista. You can also install W2k or WinME you can install everything but the question is whether you will be able to find the drivers.

    The point is that this is a new series of mobile at the moment and I think that the derivers 64 bit of Vista will be released in next time
    So, either you will wait until these drivers will be available on the Toshiba site or you try to collect the drivers and own hand.

  • How to extend video back from the beginning

    My video editor tells me that I need to have 2 seconds early and end 2 seconds do not talk and repeat basically the first or the last displayed image.  I have currently only about 1/2 a second so I need extend backward and before 2 seconds.

    It seems that I can simply grasp the handle at the end of the video to extend forward, but I can't figure out how to extend it back from the beginning. When I take the handle, I can ' drag it to the left.

    In addition, my video is essentially a timeline I have razor cut into about 10 modules.  each module is marked with markers on the timeline.  What is the best way to add the padding forward and the end of each module?  I started lasooing and by dragging the last video, move the marker, then second lasso at the last, move, etc.  Is their an easier way to do this?

    I think the answer to your prayers is insert the Segment to hold image command. First assign a keyboard shortcut to the command. The extent of the workflow, I'm only being familiar with the feature, but I think it goes something like this.

    1. Open the sequence
    2. Move the playback cursor at the beginning
    3. Insert the wedge Segment of image
    4. Move the playhead to the end
    5. Insert the wedge Segment of image
    6. Close ff. A, open B next, repeat 2 to 6...

    In your weblogic console go to your JMS Modules > * JMSModule > * tail > roles > policies. Add a user to the queue. This user must exist in the field of security in the weblogic console.
    Create a service with the same user name password account and use it in your OSB to read or write to the queue.

    So no Wins use only the real 119.97.555.34 (not a real address) instead of ESPN.com words

    I installed the EPM V11.1.2.2 system in the single server environment (MS 2008 Server R2) with the following components:
    * Foundation Services
    * HFM
    * FDM

    Have used embedded Weblogic server as a web application server and Oracle HTTP server as a web server. The installation was successful.
    During configuration.
    (1) I selected the option to deploy applications web SSP and workspace to a single managed server. Applications deployed successfully at EPMServer0.
    (2) in addition, I have selected to configure Oracle HTTP server as a web server.
    These two steps were successful.

    But shared services and the workspace URL do not work. We get a 404 error.

    When I checked the EPMServer0, Weblogic administration console is in SHUTDOWN State, tried to start it but it goes by State ADMIN instead of RACING.
    Checked the newspaper EPMServer0 to 'D:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\servers\EPMServer0\logs' and found the error at the end of this message.

    Can someone please suggest a solution for this.

    Yes John, the problem was with the deployment, but was not able to understand what goes wrong with the deployment.

    Tried to uninstall clean twice with the deletion of registry. Last updated variable of path by removing all entries related to Hyperion during the uninstall.

    Installation and configuration was successful after that. In addition, I did not compact deployment this time and used separate web servers to the deployment.

    Finally, Shared Services and the workspace URL work correctly.

    I need to some information and help please.
    I bought a laptop around mid September 2008 in Saudi Arabia. (Jarir Bokstore). The store had a promotion whereby you get the standard one year international warranty, BUT they give you a further extension of one year (so 2 years in total).
    I intended to have bought an extended warranty for a period of three years. The seller told me that I can activate my warranty 'gift' and later buy another warranty extendable to a total of 4 years international coverage.

    I signed the guarantee and it appears on the portal of warranty toshiba.
    However, when I returned to the store to buy a new extended warranty told me that you cannot register more than one warranty.
    I found it strange and therefore did not buy the extended warranty still additional. I need to know if it's actually true, or I'll always be able to buy an extended warranty again. Seems that I meet a brick wall, when I ask the salemen... .thought I would try the forum instead.

    I need to get information from a reliable and trustworthy source.
    The other news, they also gave me, is that they are waiting for news from Toshiba regarding the same subject.

    AFAIK all Toshiba laptops are covered under warranty for one year (12 months).
    If you would register your laptop on the Europe of Toshiba page you would get more than one year warranty; total 2 years warranty.

    The additional year of warranty is not a gift from the shop. You will get this additional year warranty always if you would register the laptop. It has nothing to do with the place where you purchase this laptop.

    So now, a few words about your warranty extensions.
    First, you will need to register your laptop on the Europe of Toshiba page.
    This registration will allow the second extra year of warranty. (as mentioned above)
    Now if you want you can buy even more extended.

    During the first 6 months after the purchase of my Toshiba, I recived a offers to extend my warranty from 1 year to 2 years. During the process of registratiopn, asked me to give the number of the contract that has been on my Bill.

    I did not the above, because the company, which me Tooshiba Satellite A300-23F sold does not have the right number of the invoice. After that I have recived the contract number and I wanted to register again, but the page that appears have this window to put the number.
    So I registered with tought this is already a long recording. But nothing more confused.
    It was the standard recording.

    What should I do to get this free registration right now?

    I have a toshiba A300-1EI and downgraded from windows vista to windows xp.

    Don t be angry with me, but I don t know why you expect a gigabit LAN speed?

    The laptop was equipped with map of Base - TX Ethernet LAN 10/100, and it supports 100 Mbps max.

    2. the volume level is not very strong (sound) when you watch a DVD etc. I tried different settings, and every time I do I have to restart to take effect, which is a pain that vista is slow to restart.     You can install the Win XP as second OS without fear.

    But before install you anything, I would recommend the Toshiba recovery disc creation!

    With regard to the sound:
    As far as I know the parameters which are changes in the player are not not in trouble. You must increase the volume of every time when you start the software again.
    But have you tested different actors? For example, VLC player is a simple and free tools.
    I recommend to test
