iOS 9.3.5 affecting Bluetooth

Since I downloaded the new iOS for the supposed critical security update, my phone does not connect to one of my Bluetooth devices.  Is anyone else having problems?  The affected products include a phone VTech my 2016 Jeep Renegade and a Bose headset.

To prevent anyone to recommend things that you've already tried, what troubleshooting have you tried? Includes troubleshooting of the user to the phone reboot, reset, restore from backup, restore to factory; tests after each stage. There are the steps of troubleshooting for Bluetooth as well, but again, I wouldn't bore you with things you've already tried.

  • IOS created 9.3.3 Bluetooth problem

I upgraded from 9.3.2 IOS iOS 9.3.3 two days ago. Since the upgrade, I was able to use my bluetooth FM transmitter in the car to play music and podcasts via a designated FM radio station. The module I use is a Tranzmit BLU ISFM22 iSimple module that is attached to the stock of my car radio. In collaboration with their IOS application, this allowed me to play something from my iPhone through the FM radio. I've successfully used this system with two iPhones (currently an iPhone 6) since June of 2014. My wife and my daughter also have iPhone 6. They have not put upgraded to IOS 9.3.3.  Two of them can easily use the system in my car through the app. I could until I upgraded. So, I can only conclude that the upgrade has affected the ability of my effective bluetooth to access this device.

    (1) I want to emphasize this bug in the hope that it could be addressed and in the hope that others will have to inspect their ability to use your Bluetooth devices. Perhaps this bug affect only a few devices.

    (2) I would like to know how downgrade to IOS 9.3.2 until a fix can be issued. I like to use the Bluetooth transmitter every day on routes. This is a pretty big deal for me to come down immediately!

Thanks for any assistance on two points. Thanks to all who inspects their Bluetooth capabilities after upgrade and makes account of their findings.

    Apple can't downgrade iOS.

Contact iSimple Tranzmit to see if they have an update available for the iOS 9.3.3 compatibility.

  • IPhone iOS 9.3.2 and Bluetooth 5SE

Since the 9.3.2 iOS upgrade yesterday I can use is no longer of Jabra Rox Bluetooth headphones with iPhone 5SE

I bought the 5SE the day it was released and has noticed that the pairing with my Jabra Rox wireless headphones is less stable than with my previous iPhone 5 - especially during the first 30 seconds after the connection. I made an appointment with an Apple Genius and they reproduced the problem with their headphones wireless Beats, so replaced the iPhone. However, this brought no improvement, so I guess that the iOS update would solve the problem, but for me, the problem is now much worse.

Since the upgrade to iOS 9.3.2 yesterday, the Jabra Rox can no longer maintain the link with the iPhone 5SE. An initial connection is established but falls less than a minute and does not recover. I have made repeated attempts to 'Forget' the Jabra Rox and re-pair, but follows the same cycle of failure.

Problem solved. Circumstances, stressed the iPhone ITSELF, but shortly after this post that the Rox Jabra died. Replacements offer a stable connection with the SE, but sometimes the initial connection can be quite slow.

  • Updated my 6 s more to iOS 9.3.1 and bluetooth no longer works on all devices.

After the upgrade, my bluetooth headset and car of office no longer work.  Is no longer working, I mean by that is a horrible connection combined with an intermittent audio muting.  Get back to 9.3 and see if that helps.  Anyone else having the same problem?

Have you ever tried to force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the Apple logo comes back again?

You won't lose data, but it can cure some problems after installing new software.

If this does not work, and where you live updated, try to set it back to the factory settings and of restoring the last backup again:

  • If connected via Bluetooth with car. Phone starts to compose himself after updating iOS 10

After updating iOS 10: connection via Bluetooth for car, then phone (iphone more 6s) began to compose himself. My President iPhone which is not longer work well

    Hi Pharao-nael,

I understand that after update your iPhone to iOS 10, he begins to call itself when it is connected to Bluetooth. I know it's important for your iPhone to work as expected, so I'm happy to help for this.

Since this occurs only when it is connected to Bluetooth, the first thing you want to do is cancel the twinning of the car:
Configure and use third-party Bluetooth - Apple Support Accessories

Turn off pairing a Bluetooth accessory

To disable the pairing a Bluetooth accessory, tap Settings > Bluetooth, find the device you want to disable the twinning, tap , and then we forget this device.

When you forget this device on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch, this accessory is removed from the list of available Bluetooth devices.

Make sure that your iPhone does not seek to call itself after it is disconnected, and then you can pair the iPhone and the car again:

Pair your device with a Bluetooth accessory

    1. On your iOS device, tap on settings > Bluetooth. Stay on the screen until you complete the steps to pair your accessory.
    2. Place your accessory in discovery mode and wait until it appears on your iOS device. If you don't see it, or don't know how to make it discoverable, check the instructions that came with your accessory or contact the manufacturer.
    3. Tap your accessory pair. You will have to perhaps enter the CONFIDENTIAL code or password. If you do not know what your PIN code or word password, see the documentation for your accessory.

When pairing is completed, you can use the Bluetooth accessory with your device. You can pair several Bluetooth accessories with your iOS device. Just follow the steps above to pair additional accessories.

  • Can not listen using bluetooth headphones with music Apple after updating iOS 10

I've updated my iPad to iOS 10 Air yesterday. This morning, I plugged my bluetooth headset and tried the Apple music (specifically, the NPR radio station). It sends output to the speakers of the iPad and not the bluetooth headset, and after several attempts does not connect to the bluetooth headset. I checked the bluetooth connection and verified that I could hear Siri through headphones. But Apple music seems not to want to use bluetooth headphones, whatever it is I'm looking for.

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi the edema,

It is my understanding that you are experiencing some problems with Apple's music stations on your iPad don't play no not by your Air Bluetooth headset. I listen to music Apple all the time and I know it's nice to be able to listen to the radio stations with headphones. I will do my best to help you.

As you have noted that you can hear Siri through Bluetooth speakers, you can also try a different like YouTube app to see if you can hear the audio from there through your headphones? In addition, if you do not already made, conclusion of the music app and reopen it and try to play the station again. This happens just this specific station or any station you are listening to?

Even if you did the following steps part of this article, to get help to connect a Bluetooth accessory with your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch device, there are a couple of additional ones that can help.

    1. Make sure that your device iOS and Bluetooth Accessory are close together.
    2. Make sure your Bluetooth accessory is on and fully charged or connected to power. If it uses batteries, test them to see if they need to be replaced.
    3. Restart your Bluetooth accessory.
    4. Make sure you have the latest version of iOS on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
    5. On your iOS device, go to settings > Bluetooth and make sure Bluetooth is on. If you cannot turn on Bluetooth or you see a spinning gear, restart your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.
    6. Cancel pairing the Bluetooth accessory, replace the accessory in discovery mode, then the pair and plug it in again.

Thanks for stopping by Apple Support communities. See you soon.

  • iOS 9.3.5 bluetooth does not

I have a new (refurb) iPhone more 6s with iOS 9.3.5.  Bluetooth doesn't seem to work.  When you try to pair with devices the cursor just turns and turns and the phone can never find anything.  I tried a beef of impulse, a jbl speaker and tried to use airdrop.  Is there anything I can try to solve this problem?  Looking for an answer seems to indicate a problem with the update of iOS, but I can't find any solution

Try to hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.

If that doesn't help, try a system restore. First save your device via iTunes. Also import your photos on your computer and copy all the data if possible. Reconstruction of the support first test and test. If this does not help, you may need to restore as a new and reconfigure from scratch as the backup may be damaged. It is important to have your photos and your saved data separately from the backup. Here are the steps for a restoration:

If the steps above do not help, you may need to test in an Apple store.

  • Bluetooth issues with ios 9.3.4

Since upgrading my iPhones 5s and 6s to ios 9.3.4 Bluetooth will not connect on my iPhone (without audio). It happened with some other ios updates. The Apple technicians check these discussions? (Of course, the said Bluetooth device has established a link, but there is no sound!)

Note that my iPad is still running ios 9.3.2 and Bluetooth works very well (big audio). Also note that I am able to listen to podcasts, novels, etc., through hearing aids Siemens wireless. Works great!

    Hello

Tap Settings > general > software update

If this does not help, on an iPhone, tap Settings > Bluetooth > on and then turn off Bluetooth then under tension.

If it makes a difference, do the same for the iPhone of the sentence.

  • iOS 9.2 bluetooth pairing

Does anyone else's problems do with Bluetooth pairing once upgraded to iOS since iOS 9.1 9.2? As soon as I made my Garmin Forerunner 630 was no longer able to communicate with my iPhone 6 (Note: it worked perfectly, while running iOS 9.1 before nightfall iOS which should be upgraded).

Measures taken to try to resolve the problem

    1. Forget the camera and rematching. This has compounded the situation - the iPhone could not 'see' the device to try to match.
    2. Pairing my Garmin 630 with a friend (Android based) phone - it works immediately - he can see the Garmin and cannot pair it, no problem.
    3. My Garmin 630 with my iPad Air matching - the iPad is also running iOS 9.2 and he too can not even 'see' the device.
    4. Pairing my iPhone 6 and iPad in the Air with a bluetooth (EU Boom) speaker - it works.
    5. Complete reset of my iPhone 6. Twinning with 630 Garmin still does not work.
    6. Reset complete my Garmin 630. No change.
    7. Following the advice of Apple here: Wi - Fi and Bluetooth: potential sources of interference wireless - Apple Support

    Conclusion

In summary, it seems that Bluetooth still work on the Garmin 630 and the iPhone and the iPad, but Apple has made some sort of change in 9.2 iOS that prevents matching with certain types of Bluetooth device.

    Similar reported problems

I've seen a few similar reports on support for other devices forums (not "seen" / "detectable") after the upgrade to iOS 9.2:

Does not connect via Bluetooth, iOS 9.2 to my home theater of sonny,

Since iOS 9.2 my Bluetooth PlayStation keyboard no longer works

iPhone 5 sec bluetooth not working after iOS 9.2

as well as more general questions of Bluetooth for devices that are already paired:

    No bluetooth after 9.2

iPhone 5 sec bluetooth not working after iOS 9.2

    iCade/bluetooth controller + iOS 9.2

None of the posts that i reference above gives no real solution.

    Questions

1 Apple Please recognize that there is a problem with iOS 9.2 on Bluetooth?

2 - is anyone else seeing problems similar to what I reported and the posts that I've referenced?

Problem solved, a bit of a schoolboy error.

For some reason, the iOS to 9.2 upgrade means that the phone and the Garmin 630 were no longer able to communicate. Try to pair again via the iOS Bluetooth settings screen did not work (the unit has not appeared).

It seems that matching works only if launched from the Garmin Connect app works on the iPhone / iPad. Once you have coupled the app will Garmin 630, then appear in the Bluetooth settings screen standard iOS, showing as connected.

    In summary:

    (1) not all Bluetooth devices will not necessarily be available for matching in the iOS Bluetooth settings screen (didn't know it until now), and

    (2) previously associated device no longer works after update iOS. Not a huge problem, but a bit annoying.

I'm still able to play my music on my phone if bluetooth, simply not talk on the phone. Does anyone have an idea or if there will be a software update?  Thank you!
