iOS10 "home" button is now a "back" button
Hello
I'm an eager iPhone user and find that the recent change of work button at home while in the application's intuitive against
My iPhone is organized in a sense, I have a lot of folders with specific applications in its criteria
When I'm in an application and want to access another application, that I now have to press the home button and either press the outside of the folder or press the home button to get to my home screen to then push them in another folder and then repeat the process for the next application
with this change it now hampers and delays the way I navigate my iPhone not only that, but interrupts my thought process
That's why the home button is more a home button, but a "back" button
Please please restore button at home to its former glory and take me home when I press on it, or at least make it an option in general settings!
everything else in the iOS 10 I can't complain it is a step forward

#iOS10 Home button must be pressed to unlock
Before iOS10, it was enough only to touch the button to unlock and open the unit at home, now I have to press it. This isn't a development at all.

You're wrong. It was always necessary to press the home button to wake the screen saver and leave your fingerprint to you grant the access to the device. Leave a screen of sleep, the home button never did any function at all but if pressed.

Apple replaced my screen after a fault and now my home button not working no-iPhone 6
Hello
I hope someone can help or advise me - I don't know if this is normal.
I went to my local Apple store yesterday because I had a "Crescent" on my front facing camera of my iPhone 6. They said being misaligned and offered to replace my screen under warranty. I said it was very good. I got it back 4 hours later and they said that taking so much they had to try to calibrate several times because their machine was playing upwards.
Asked me to make sure that everything worked fine. I took a look and everything seemed OK, but now I've used it for a day, my home button doesn't seem to be right. It does not respond properly and I have to press it quite difficult to get it to open the main screen. This happened to anyone before?
I don't really want to go back to Apple for them to replace the screen, once again and for the issue to continue so I don't know what to do! I had combined in the past, but never the screen replaced, so I don't know if this is normal.
Thank you in advance for your help!
Alison
Apple should work for at least 90 days of warranty. My suggestion is to resume and ask them to please fix it correctly this time.

iOS 10 - now I touch Touch ID, * and * press the Home button to open iPhone?
I have an iPhone 6, and today I have updated to iOS 9.3.5, to 10.0.1. One thing I noticed that really bothers me, it's unlocking the device. With iOS 9, I had to touch the Touch ID to unlock. Now I touch the ID to touch and sometimes it unlocks, and sometimes, I see 'Unlocked' at the top of the screen and "Press home to open" at the bottom. I have to press the Home button to open the phone.
It seems to me that having to push the home button more often will put more wear and tear, causing to fail more sooner than it otherwise. Who thought it was a good idea? It is perhaps a subtle boost to force me to update the iPhone 7, with his home in the solid state button?
I think it's something that needs to be modified in iOS 10.0.2. Make sure that touching just the Touch ID opens the phone each time, as iOS 9 has done.
Happened to me too. To repair. go to General settings accessibility HomeButton scroll Restfinger unlock... .and turn on.

My "home" button has disappeared from my toolbar; How can I get that back?
Recently, my mousepad "slipped" and sent my cursor somewhere in my toolbar without my wanting to go. Before I even saw what happened, I clicked somehow something on my toolbar that makes my home page icon just disappear - this little house. Combustion chamber always opens to the home page, I want it, but the convenience of coming back to this home page went without my small home icon. Help: where it went, and how do I get it back?
Hi, moracili!
If the Home button is not anywhere on the browser itself, try this:
- Click the menu button
and select "Customize".
He is available for selection from there?
If so, just put where you want.
If not, write back.
- Click the menu button

Why the home button and the back on my browser get distorted when I try to click on it?
whenever I use the mouse to click on the home button or back on my browser, it might get distorted the original photo or arrow 'break' to the top and still have these lines as well as whites white until I ride the arrow of the mouse on it sometimes. It just started this out of no where and I don't know why.
Try disabling hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Try to update the graphic display driver.

The computer will be used only to access online catalog in my library. I need to remove the location toolbar, but keep the "back" button and the "home" button. If I use the Kiosk mode, I do not have the "previous" button. I can set it up so that I have the buttons but not the URL, but a user could right-click on the menu bar and reactivate the address bar. I need to stop them from doing it.
Thank you!Users can always bring up an address bar with the shortcut Ctrl + L if this bar is hidden.
One possibility is to hide the toolbar elements and elements of (context) menu with code in userChrome.css below default @namespace.
Customization files (interface) userChrome.css and userContent.css (Web sites) are located in the chrome folder in the user profile folder.
@namespace url("http://www.mozilla.org/keymaster/gatekeeper/there.is.only.xul"); /* only needed once */ #openLocation, #urlbar-container, #CustomizeToolbarWindow, #toolbar-context-menu { display:none!important; }

I uninstalled and re installed and same even used a different installation file that it installed well on laptop had to go back to firefox 3. something until someone can tell me what is wrong
A combined Stop/Reload/Go button that is placed at the right end of the address bar is used in Firefox 4.
During the process of loading page it shows as a stop button and once the charging button is replaced by a reload button.
If you type in the address bar this button would then become a button go.
You can middle - click this button Reload to duplicate the current tab in a new tab.
---
You can find the button at the right end of the Navigation bar.Open the Customize via "view > toolbars > customize" or "Firefox > Options > toolbars."
Drag the home button from its current position on the right to the previous position to the left of the address bar.
- Drag the buttons Reload and stop at their previous position to the left of the address bar.
- Set the "Reload - Stop" order for a combined "Stop/Reload" button.
- Set the order of 'Stop - Reload' or separate them otherwise to get two separate buttons.

Hi kaylabon87,
If your Home button does not work on your iPhone and you are unable to update or restore your device, the resource below provides a link to contact AppleCare support.
If you are unable to update or restore your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
Contact the Apple Support if you are unable to update or restore your device with the recovery mode, or you can use the mode of recovery because of the broken or stuck buttons.

How to change the search engine when you use the functionality of Firefox Home button Search?
In Firefox itself, I have configured duckduckgo as my default search provider.
But when I use the host Firefox search button it is always defined on google and I don't see any possibility to change that?
I love the Firefox Home button Search (or whatever we call it) otherwise, but it's annoying that it does not use the default Firefox.
I use the Google Launcher now.
Hi mrt181, it is planned to use the same search engine as in firefox - however, there is a bug at the moment, so it does not apply in all situations.
usually, it will be enough to change the default engine in firefox back once to work around the problem in the search widget and get the same as set in the browser search provider. -
How can I move the home button between the front and the address bar?
Her that I have my firefox put in place over the years is to place the buttons like this:
[Back] [Front] [Stop/Reload] [Home] [Progress Animation] [Address bar]
Now in FF29 I'm trying to move the home button between BackForward buttons and the address bar and it won't let me.
I thought that FF29 was supposed to be the most customizable Firefox yet? * confused *.
Is there a way to do it, am I missing something? Thank you
"I thought that FF29 was supposed to be the most customizable Firefox yet?
Who told you that was incorrect, as far as I'm concerned. Firefox is more customizable than the 'competition', but not as much as the previous versions were. The home button can be moved, but the back / button drop-down list is set to the address bar - they cannot be separated.
The combo Stop / Reload button is locked in the address bar.
The 'old' activity indicator has disappeared. Deemed unnecessary with the animation of loading on the left corner of each tab, where the favorite icon once the page is completely loaded.https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/how-to-make-new-Firefox-look-like-old-Firefox
Many users install the extension Classic theme restaurateur.
https://addons.Mozilla.org/en-us/Firefox/addon/classicthemerestorer/
But I don't think it will turn out to be along term solution. As users begin to install other extensions, I think they're going to face compatibility issues where the new extension "expects" the user to use what Firefox is come with - not the 'retro' functions -

Hello to you all.
I seem to have a problem with my iPhone 5 now. Notifications are not appearing (stills phone vibrate, silent or not), siro does not work (but again, vibration works as if everything was fine.) and by simple click home button does not work, both manually and with a help key. Double-click on works fine, triple clicking too. I tried calibration "home" button but it does not work, and since he made double and triple click, I don't think it's broken. The thing is, even touch home on assistove does nothing. Please help me find a solution thanks!
Have you ever tried to force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the Apple logo comes back again? You won't lose data by doing this, but it can cure a few glitches.
If restarting the force cannot be done because the home button does not react, set it back to factory settings, explained in this article:
