iOS10 Mail - cannot open emails

Hello

Just updated to iOS10, and now when I open an email I get a blank screen, as in the image below.

After some tests, I still receive emails fine and able to send. Preview of content works fine (e.g., see the first 2 lines of the email). Just can't 'open' e-mails.

One of my email accounts has an apostrophe in the email address. Delete this email account solves the problem. However this account worked fine before the update.

Any suggestions, or just a new bug to iOS10?

Using an iPhone 6.

Thank you

Either a problem with the mail server or your internet connection.

If you use the Mail of Mac application (not the email based on the web via a browser), open the messaging application.

Then go in the Mail app menu bar and click window > connection doctor

    Hello

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.

  • Windows Mail cannot open attachments

I am running vista Home premium SP2 and using Windows mail. Two days ago I can't display all the attachments of my emails. If I double click to open them - there is no answer. If I try to save, I get "cannot run command '. I can see if I send to another address and you use a webmail on the same computer account. I checked the internet options to ensure that the ability to upload files is correct. I changed the start in: option empty, then '%UserProfile% Local SettingsTemp '.

Just in case someone else has had this problem. I solved it by doing a system restore

Start > all programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore

and return to a point where my computer was still running.

  • Cannot open emails from Outlook Express on Windows 7

Original title: Outlook express on exploere8

I just bought a new computer which has windows 7 and explorer 8 is installed, my old computor was an outlook express program that has lots of emails stored in it. I don't seem to be able to open these emails outlook express doesn't automatically come with explorer8?

Outlook Express is an e-mail Client program.  Internet Explorer is a web browser.  They are completely different animals.

Windows 7 computers lack any e-mail client program (unless the manufacturer of the computer or the seller has installed a). Therefore, you will need to download and install your own choice email client.

Microsoft to promote Windows Live Mail, the free successor to Outlook Express.  You can download the program ofhttp://download.live.com.   WLMail belongs to the series of programs, Windows Live, which includes Windows Live Messenger, etc.. However, you just install the items you need.

At present, there are two versions of WLMail available for download.  The latest stable version of the suite of programs live was "Wave 3"(version number 14.0.8117.0416).  However, you also have the option to install the version 'Wave 4' of the various programs.  I have no experience of the Wave 4 programs (which are beta (or test) releases), so cannot advise.

Once you have installed WLMail, you will need to copy the messages from your old computer to Win XP files in a directory on your new Windows 7 computer.  Then, you will be able to open WLMail and click on file / import - import messages and other data.  With the version of Wave 3, the menu bar (which provides the file / edit / view / go / tools / Actions & help commands) is hidden by default.  To display the menu bar on an ad hoc basis, press Ctrl. To display the menu bar, click Alt and M together. Then, press M (or select "Show menu bar").

You will find further instructions to the http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/importing-your-e-mail-contacts-and-calendar-into-windows-live-mail. However, a Google search led me to www.pcdon.com/080113OutlookExpress-WindowsLiveMail.html, which you can find easier to understand.

Firefox send an e-mail, it's strictly a web browser.

If you use Firefox to access your e-mail, you use "webmail". You must seek assistance from your service provider or a forum for this service.

  • Cannot open email attachments

I can't open attachments to email on iOS iphone6 9.3.1. I have a hotmail account and Adobe app on phone. Just cranks away saying download but does not work

    Parts ideas?

Try resetting your e-mail account. First close your Mail application completely from the window of the selector app by double clicking the Home button and drag the email preview pane up until it disappears from the display. You may need to search the mail pane covering scribbles to the left. Then go to settings > Mail, Contacts, calendar > find your e-mail provider and click on the account. On the next page, delete the account. Then perform a forced reboot. Hold down the home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds , until the Apple logo appears. Then go to settings > mail... and to add the account.

    General precautions for Outlook Express:

Do not archive mail in the receipt or sent items box. Create your own user-defined folders and move messages you want to put in them. Empty the deleted items folder daily. Although the dbx files have a theoretical capacity of 2 GB, I recommend all a 300 MB max for less risk of corruption.

After you're done, followed by compacting your folders manually while working * off * and do it often.

Click Outlook Express at the top of the the folder tree so no folders are open. Then: File | Work offline (or double-click on work online in the status bar). File | Folder | Compact all folders. Don't touch anything until the compacting is completed.
