  I have a Mac and a PC but I use the PC for my main photo library. When I import pictures from my iPhone to the PC using the Import Wizard, Windows 10 maintains a cache to remember photos that have been previously imported so that they don't re - import. I can post the path to the cache but it is useless, the cache is a file system, called "PreviouslyAcquired.db".  If I remove photos from my PC which have been imported and you want then re - import, I have to reset this cache (delete) so that the photos to import again. Otherwise the photos already imported are ignored and only new ones appear on the Import Wizard.

  The reason for this post is that I wonder if OS X (Photos or Image Capture) retains the same type of cache. I also wonder if this is the reason why the OP on the wire above cannot re - import the photos that have been restored from their old iPhone.

  So my questions are:

  (1) with OS X Image Capture, can a photo to reimport previously imported?

  (2) no OS X maintains a similar to Windows cache and if so where is it and how it is reset? I looked on my MBP 10.11.5 but nothing helped. It is obviously not the iPod Photo Cache - that one is associated with iTunes synchronizes only. I also started the Image Capture, but cannot see any parameter for this purpose.

  (3) I.C. will give me the opportunity to re - import if it imported the same before pictures? I could make an experience, but the bright minds here probably know the answers.

  I have found no Apple documentation on it, but when I use the Image Capture to import from a camera or card in a folder in the Finder, I can import the same items over and over again. There is no control for imports carried out previously.

  Only when I import using a photo app that maintenance photo library (Photos, iPhoto, Aperture) pictures will be checked for duplicates when importing.  But even with Photos, iPhoto, Aperture can I restore deleted photos by import since the device again, if I removed them from the library.

  It seems that you have the image of the track in your library, which is the origin of the problem.

  I just activated my Motorola triumph yesterday, and everything has been works perfectly... except for the graphics/pictures in the internet browser. It does not display my photos or images, even when it shows that the page has "fully loaded." Graphics/photos work very well through the Facebook app and other apps, just not the browser. I've only tried simple solutions, like its rebooting, but I was not able to make it work.

  The photo library can contain remnants of files from iPhoto or Aperture, if you used publishers external pictures that could not be moved to the trash, or similar. There may also be an iPod Photo Cache, which can be very important, if synchronize you with iTunes library.

  When you check the number of pictures in photo?  The 'Photos' view will show the number of photos that are not hidden, the "all Photos" view will display all photos, including the hidden pictures. The recently deleted album will show also pictures, waiting to be finally deleted.

  Have you checked, if the "Recently deleted" album is empty?

  If so, check which photo library you are currently browsing in Photos.  Photos > general Preferences tab has a button "show in Finder". It takes you to the library in your folder from another library of Photos or images?

  If your library is empty and contains no photos that you want to save it, you can simply delete the photo library you see in the Finder and try again with a new library.

  I'm trying to figure if it is possible to host my own photos or images on the web using Adobe CC sort, in the same way that many do with Photobucket. They download a photo or image to Photobucket where they can then get a link to the image, which can be inserted into the source code elsewhere on the web.

  What I want to do ultimately is create a gif animated for my online storefront, but I'll need to download the final product to someone's photo/image hosting site in order to complete the task.

  I have a subscription to the creative cloud and wonder if this is a characteristic of this subscription, but I can't seem to find this specific answer in the forums.

  Thank you for the messages in 2011, no wonder I don't think HP Photo and Imaging Gallery, I liked!  It was installed with my HP printer, but now that I have another laptop, the printer will not install this program, but has installed HP Photo Creations, they are certainly not the same thing... as of now, I don't like.  I'm happy for some of the tips.  I printed the pages.  Does anyone know of a program I can do also?

  Yes. Individual tags will not appear in the Panel groups for 'people '.

  To see these individual tags, you must double-click the stack of the person concerned (a battery is present for each individual tag) and see its media. It's 'People' view.

  In the media view, you can search for person tag say 'ABC' by clicking on the chevron that appears when you hover over the 'ABC' of mouse tag in the right panel.

  The best way to keep your original Photos to live and create a lot of JPEGs from your Live Photos would be to select all Photos live and use the file > export to export as JPEG files in a folder on your desktop. Set it the JPEG quality and the format of subfolder 'None '.

  Then import this file with JPEG files and use them for your slide show and delete them once again, when you don't need them more.  I find it safer to change the Live pictures to separate the still image video. There is a lot of work to do to revive again.

  You can apply tags in a variety of ways to help you organize and find your pictures and videos. You can add tags when you first add a photo or video to your collection, or you can select a photo or several photos to the tag at any time.

  Alternatively, you can mark images by using the details pane. You can open the details pane to display information based on a photo or video, including the file name, date taken, evaluation and other information. You can change most of these information by clicking just typing.

  To add tags and captions to photos and videos

  1. Open Windows Live Photo Gallery.
  2. Double-click the photo or video you want to tag.
  3. In the details pane, click add descriptive keywords, Add people tags or Add caption.
  4. Add tags and captions.
  5. Click back to Gallery to save your labels and legends and to return to the gallery.

  If you have several photos and similar videos, you can add tags to each of them at the same time. Select the photos and videos that you want to mark, click Add keywordsand add tags. The tags will be displayed in the pane under assigned to allinformation.

  We have the signature blocks that are on all of our email correspondence.  Some of the photos on the blocks.  I know how to change the text on the blocks, but I don't know how to swap the images of people.  Need basic directions easy to please.

  (1) take your original and with the rectangular selection tool, make a selection around photography

  

  

  (2) hold the alt or option key and apply a layer mask and this will create a transparent area

  

  (3) create a new layer above the original and copy is a new photo. To adjust the precise size, use ctrl-T Transform or Cmd - T.

  

  (4) apply a layer race effect helps to put a margin around photography

  

  

  (5) Finally, select the layer of the photo and he Desaturate.  Shift-Ctrl-U or shift-cmd-U

  Not the end of the world I recognize, but the face scanning in iOS10 on my iPhone 6 has been slain to a whole number of today.

  The 'People' album says:

  "1 896 scanned photos.

  To complete scanning of your photos 4 949 left, lock your iPhone and plug it into the power. »

  I did something like that and left for a few hours this afternoon and he said still 1 896 pics.  Have rebooted and killed a few times, the photos app, but it does not restart.

  Same problem on my iPad 2 Air. I am glued 8367 scanned, 2340 rest. I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing helped.
