• Voltage Excitation for IEPE/ICP and IOTech 650U

  Hi all

  I am using IOTech DAQ 650U (OR product no. 781277-01) with ICP/IEPE accelerometer. It works very well with accelerometers of general purpose PCB/IMI (IMI 607 A 11 model example). We want to use seismic accelerometers and wonder if IOtech 650U can collect data from seismic sensors (example - IMI 626 A 04 model). Most of the electrical specifications of the two sensors are similar (2-20 my constant current), except that the voltage is more versatile (18-28 VDC) for seismic sensor (24-28 VDC). -What it means and means of IOTech 650U does not work with seismic sensor? I don't think, but I'm not sure. I tried to read about this subject and found NO article on voltage is lower than the voltage of compliance (http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/3CEFD95B14604C7386257598006C6233).
  However, I couldn't find the conformity of IOTech 650U voltage specifications. Any help in this regard is highly appreciated. I want to know if we can use the accelerometer seismic (IMI 626 A 04) with IOTech 650U or not? Thank you.

  Usually you want to measure low or very low frequencies with seismic sensors.

  So check to see if the high passes of frequency of your data acquisition fits your needs.

  A lot more low power low voltage will only limit max amplitude can be measured...

• How to set the differential input for personal iotech Daq/3000 mode

  Hi all

  I currently use personal iotech daq/3000 for the acquisition of data from the accelerometer.

  I got readings of the analog input, while there seems to be no configuration for the differential mode.

  What I have is:

  selection of material - personaldaq / 3000:direct

  Double click on, then:

  Channel installation, there should be a selection of differential mode, I guess. But this is not.

  Have you reviewed the C:\Program Files\DASYLab 10.0\manuals\IOtech_DAQ_notes. PDF? Or the help of equipment?

  The section of material assistance, using the analog inputs with DASYLab, includes pictures to show how to do this.

  Open hardware driver.

  Click the line Analog Input Channels, and then right-click to open the properties. This will display a dialog box that allows you to set the properties.

• IOtech personnaldaq 3005

  I have a new PersonnalDAQ3005 I am trying to run on Dasylab. He reads thermocouples very well on the software IOTech, but gives the waste during playback Dasylab. It will however read the differential voltage correctly in Dasylab. I've already put Dasylab to read the sensors of type k is there a setting "cold welding" somewhere that I can't find?

• IOTech use for tiara in Windows 7

  Hi all...

  I use IOTech 650U, eZ-analyst for the acquisition of vibration data and DIAdem 2012 for post-processing and analysis. I used IOTech use to import the .dsc files in DIAdem. This is all on Windows XP. We will run Windows 7 64-bit. My question is will work fine, that is to say -

  1 eZ-analyst (I think is a 32-bit software)

  2 tiara (I think is a 32-bit software)

  3 use

  I talked to rep OR and knew that eZ-analyst and DIAdem 2012 should work fine without any performance problems, especially when acquiring data (mult-channel and high sampling rate). My question is about the use. Which works perfectly under Windows7 64-bit? If someone checked that? My concern is also because these products are not much upgraded. Please answer if you know about it. Thank you.

  I have no experience with eZ-analyst, so I won't be able to make statements concerning this product.

  In what concerns the tiara and any DataPlugins you may have, they will work just fine with Windows 7 32-bit or 64-bit versions of Windows 7 (such as 32-bit applications).

  I'm not sure what you are referring to this statement: "my concern is also because these products are not much upgraded."

  Here's the tiara lifecycle policy document, it should address questions of OS support: Policy of Life Cycle of DIAdem

  DataPlugins always work with the current version of the tiara.

• What is the channel set up to measure the axial thrust of the probes with Tomas eZ software and a data logger IOtech

  Y at - there anyone out there who can give advice on setting up a probe of the axial thrust in eZTomas. I tried all the configurations that I can think of, but the gauge still shows just a full scale even when I connect a battery 9.5V.

• Multiple DaqBoards in Dasylab

  According to the Manual (which is 6 years old) for IOTech DaqBoard 1000-series can only be used with a DaqBoard both Dasylab.

  Is this true for the latest version of Dasylab?

  It can, but especially this means that all boards must use the same sampling rate, or a rate of divided down.

  The user guide says to drive improved:

  The improved driver IOtech uses the standard/a. DASYLab driver interface, which traditionally has supported a
  device of unique material, with optional channel expansion cards. The standard DASYLab driver IOtech is a
  example of a single traditional support driver.

  The improved IOtech DASYLab driver supports conventional device applications within DASYLab as well.
  In addition, holders of driving more acquire data from multiple synchronized clock devices via the
  module analog input of DASYLab standard. The improved driver carries out this mission by creating a single large virtual
  device inside DASYLab. Since all the input from the point of view software DASYLab channels are located on a single
  virtual device, the data of all devices must be returned to DASYLab in a single stream. The IOtech
  DASYLab drive and it supports DaqCOM driver layer manages data from multiple merging
  devices in a data for DASYLab streams.

• displ1.dll error loading of worksheet

  Just before a work critical time that we started getting an error loading Dasylab 10.0.3 spreadsheets.  It was one of those things "windows has encountered an error and needs to close."  Looking at the details it is said that the problem was with displ1.dll.

  He is our saved records unusable because they could no longer be loaded into Dasylab without the occurrence of the accident.

  I finally got around the problem of removal of displ1.dll in the folder \windows\program files\dasylab 10 then run Dasylab.

  This allowed me to open our existing worksheets, but with a red cross on modules as required displ1.dll - including the table of yt and the list.  If I deleted these modules, I could at least save and reuse the leaves of calculation (but without our list and graphical views).

  My quick workaround solution had to then restore displ1.dll and reload Dasylab.  I could now open my old worksheets - because they had none of the modules requiring a displ1.dll in them.  Before my acquisition of data, I could then manually add the table yt and the list shows and then begin the work.  No problem as long as I did not save the worksheet with a list or table of yt - if I do so then I would get the same error as previously not described.  So with a short time (a few hours) I came with a 75% on solution work that required minimum re - work whenever we wanted to use the spreadsheet.

  Has anyone encountered this problem before and why is this happeneing?

  In my initial confusion, I uninstalled Dasylab then re-installed as 10.0.1 to see what would happen.  Still received the error of displ1.dll.  Then I applied SP2 to resume installation to 10.0.3 and it still doesn't work.  I note that there is a new version of displ1.dll in SP2.

  We used 10 Dasylab for several years with the same hardware DAQ (IOtech Wavebooks) for several years now without any problem - how is this problem appeared seemingly from nowhere?

• How to use Dasylab measurement temperature TC

  I need measure the temperature of the thermocouple DataShuttle-3000 with Dasylab. The 3000 datashuttle is specified as "input thermocouple on any of the 8 differential inputs. When I try to put in place the analog input module (PQaq3k - 1:Al) in the Dasylab, we Channel Setup Channel setup-select the range or the TC Type, unfortunately, I can't find type of transport CANADA. Only available voltage range. Can someone help with this problem.

  You must configure the device for differential channels in DASYLab. Configure parameters are not passed.

  I have to point you to the help file. On my computer, it is called iotdcdasy.chm, in the folder C:\Program Files\DASYLab 9.0.

  Since within DASYLab, click the Help menu, then driver. It will be labeled "IOtech Enhanced DASYLab driver Guide"

  On the left, navigate to the tutorial section. Double-click it to open it, and then on the last entry, "temperature measurement with PersonalDaq/3000 s."

  This gives you a configuration illustrated, step by step for thermocouples.

  This section is too long to repeat here.

  If this does not work, you should be in touch with your dealer directly. They are equipped to help you.

• Why do I get error-2147221164?

  The application worked, then they moved to the laboratory and the application no longer works.  My work: fix it.

  Local Pro touched the computer, it theoretically did nothing that would have that effect. I did not write the code (the author retired), but the main problem seems to be that's not seening the IOTech Daq s 3000 personnel.  Configure the IOTech app works very well, but nothing in LabView can be seen, including many example vi from the provider of data acquisition.  I tried two things found on the forum

  1. Remove and replace the Open.vi Automation
  2. Unregister and then reregister the *.ocx files

  but none of these solved the problem.  The schema-block where the error occurs:

  

  It is in one of the provided by IOTech (Acquisition Initialize.vi) vi.  Probes on the Refnum constant wire gave a value of zero.  My understanding is that it is there to provide a type so it can be good (?).  The constant has DAQCOMLib.IDaqSystem selected in the ActiveX class, which seems to be OK.  The Refnum Office outside Open was also zero, which I guess is wrong.

  No error, but the thread error indicates the code 2147221164 and 'class not registered... '. ».

  Once again, in theory, no one touched this code directly.  I'm enough ideas.  Suggestions?

• Can I interface SR510 through card PCI/IEEE488.2 32-bit using the Labview software?

  We have a card PCI/IEEE488.2 of IOtech instrumentation. Now, I want to lock interface amplify (SR510) through this card with the software LabView 7.1, is this possible?

  My GPIB, IEEE488(frm IOtech) card are working properly tested by IOtech IEEE488 Labview test file. I have no error result. Now, for my practice, since the beginning I want to interface KEITHLEY 236 source measure unit. I downloaded all the drivers keithley236 Labview in the instr.lib folder. When I run that these files, it does not answer. I can't understant what is the problem. Please tell me.
