IP address of the client issues

Just beginning to put an infrastructure in place of Cisco wireless, currently just test every thing.  Here's my problem.

After you create a WLAN, bind it to the VLAN I can authenticate but cannot obtain an IP address.

Now if I bind the WLAN to the same VLAN access point is turned on, I can get an IP address.

I have the IP DHCP configured under WIFI as well as of interface, I tried with just by configuring it on the interface but no use

I tried proxy DHCP enabled and disabled

Also want to mention that the AP is connected to a switch and the switch port is configured as an access on VLAN130 port.

Hello

Please ensure that you allow the 109 VLAN on the trunk that connect the WLC to the switch.

HTH,

Tiago

  • Get the IP address of the client from the view

    I have a code that uses the API well established WTSQuerySessionInformation() (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa383838 (VS.85) .aspx) call, through the argument of WTSClientAddress, to retrieve the IP address of the client that is connected to an RDP session.

    When this code is executed in a View (on XP SP3) session, it still returns 127.0.0.1 rather than the IP address of the client that connects to the session of the view. If I disconnect the session View and reconnect to the same user via a console RDP session and then the IP address of the client is successfully returned. With the help of the WTSClientName argument to return customer name always returns the name of correct client that the session is connected via RDP or the customer to view.

    Anyone got any ideas how to retrieve the IP address of the client please? No doubt must be mailed to a community developer, but I can't find really relevant.

    What is happening because of the tunnel from the view, because only in tunnel mode, the RDP control connects to 127.0.0.1 (on the client side) and the socket connection then integrated on the remote side. Session information are filled with the information provided by the RDP client, where the difference.

    We intend to address this issue in a future version of VMware View by providing various information on the client address environment variables available in the RDP session, including the client's real IP, for example:

    ViewClient_Broker_DNS_Name = broker.foo.com

    ViewClient_Broker_Remote_IP_Address = 1.2.3.4

    ViewClient_Broker_Tunneled = false

    ViewClient_Broker_URL =https://broker.foo.com:443

    ViewClient_IP_Address = 5.6.7.8

    ViewClient_LoggedOn_Domainname = FOO

    ViewClient_LoggedOn_Username = user

    ViewClient_Machine_Domain = bar

    ViewClient_Machine_Name = baz

    ViewClient_MAC_Address=00-12-34-56-BE-EF

    ViewClient_Type = Windows

    ExternalContext ectx is FacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .getExternalContext ();.

    HttpServletRequest request = (HttpServletRequest) ectx.getRequest ();

    String ip = request.getRemoteAddr ();

    but he returned

    127.0.0.1

    or in my env production he return server ip address.

    so my question is what is the problem with this code, why is not the ip address of the customer return

    or any other way to do

    concerning

    This is a configuration on the weblogic server. You do not get the address of the default client. You must make a few changes to the configuration of your wls (see getting the IP address of the application client). If you do this, you should be aware of the implications that you find in the blog http://www.ateam-oracle.com/wls-plugin-enabled/

  • Getting the IP address of the client

    Anyone know how to get the client IP address?

    Under the authentication/stats/logging system, we would like to have all of the IP addresses that are stored in the database, but I can't for the life of me how to get (looking for the documentation returned nothing flash and google keeps raising people who seek intellectual property in flash and then says to use PHP/CF to the to do...).

    Certainly, there must be a way to get the ip address.

    Thank you.

  • Get the ip address of the client computer through the bridge of apache

    Hi all

    When a request is sent to the web server, it crosses a bridge Apache in a security purpose. The problem is now, since the machine where apache bridge is installed acts as the client to the websever, he receives the ip address of the machine where the server apache is running and not
    the client machines. I want to record the ip of the client machine
    address.
    An approximate representation of how I manage my request is:

    Clients - & gt; Bridge of Apache - & gt; Web server - & gt; Database/Business object

    Can someone help me with this?

  • VMware View - Virtual Office registry key based offline IP address of the client?

    Hi VMware Experts-

    I try on VMware View 5, but I'm stumped. Our basic used by the personnel application is accessible via Citrix ICA. I want to start the Citrix ICA application inside the view. This application is one that rent us the 3rd party (several States away) and the method used to connect to it is not editable. The application launches successfully, but a problem.

    When we launch the Citrix ICA connection a registry key is read from the local computer (in my test, it is the virtual office). It is a key, we added that contains the IP address of the machine. The IP address of the key is used by the application accessed through Citrix ICA to assign the user to a number of specific printers.

    My question is: after user authentication, how can I have the Desktop read view IP local of the customer who connects, then put this IP address as the registry key in the virtual office? This should happen during each connection, because users are not in the same job every day. I use Windows 7 Pro 64 bits for virtual offices.

    Thank you!

    The customer who connects IP are located under the key of HKU\Volatile environment.    You can use this to fill in everything you need.

  • Cisco easy VPN + loopback interface. static ip address for the client

    Good day people.

    I have a couple a question and answer on which I can't google for a period. BTW I maybe simly use bad aproach to choose keywords.

    Thus,.

    (1) is it possible to assign the same IP to the same customer every time that it authenticated, preferably without using DHCP? Definely im sure it is possible, but can't find match configuration examples (my camera's 1921 Cisco IOS 15.0.1).

    (2) is it possible to assign the dynamic crypto map to the loopback interface (to make EASY VPN Server accessible through two interfaces - maybe you recommend another approach instead?) - that I move the map workingcrypto of int phy loopback - I can not connect with reason "SA Phace1 policy proposal" not accepted

    Hello

    (1) you can attach to the same IP to the same username using RADIUS

    (2) If you have 2 outside interfaces

    Then, you would use

    mymap-address loop0 crypto card

    int gig0/0

    crypto mymap map

    int g0/1

    cryptp map mymap

    By doing so, the local address would actually be the loop0 but Cryptography card HAS to be applied on physical output interfaces

    See you soon

  • H - REAP: difficulty to obtain the IP address for the client after loss of control

    Hello

    I have configured the following:

    -H - HARVEST Wlan

    -AP PM-HARVEST

    -There is no trunk on the access port, so "Support Vlan" is disabled in the configuration of the AP. Because I want the Capwap data and the data on the same vlan REAP H of transit.

    -J' have controller 5508 version 6.0.182.0

    The first time that I connect with my PC for Wlan H-REAP, I get an Ip address

    I see the DHCP from the AP request.

    I can disconnect and reconnect several times with my PC, and I get all the time an IP address.

    Then I disconnect the connection between the AP and the WLC, and I reconnect after a few minutes. (If the controller is again joined by AP)

    Then, when I try to connect to the Wlan REAP H, it is impossible to obtain the Ip address. I don't see "dhcp - discover" coming out of the AP.

    I have a message in the log of the AP: "customer 0018.de6a.3058 had 1 AES-CCMP TSC replays."

    Similarly, if I reload the AP, the problem is still there.

    The only way I found to solve the problem is to change something in the config of H-harvest-Wlan and apply it.

    You have an idea?

    Michel Misonne

    I'll make a guess savage and say that you have WMM disabled on the WLAN...  Enable WMM (supported) or upgrade to 6.0.196.0 (if WMM is disabled..)

    The common technologies used to build web service applications is AXIS or CXF. What Jdeveloper technology allows built web service application?

    It depends on the option selected during the creation of web services (if I remember correctly, there are several options, style J2EE 1.4 RPC style JavaEE JAX - WS 1.5,...)

    For example, to get the ip address of the compatible with jax - ws web service, you need to inject the context in your service class with:

    @Resource
    WebServiceContext wsContext;

    and then inside your method:

    MessageContext mc = wsContext.getMessageContext();
    HttpServletRequest req = (HttpServletRequest)mc.get(MessageContext.SERVLET_REQUEST);
    String ip = req.getRemoteAddr();
