ip address of the RADIUS client

Is there a way to define which cisco device used when the ip address to connect to the Server IAS Ms. I configured to MS IAS client and customer is cisco router box 6509 and ip address of the client is 6509 IP (management) problem, is that cisco uses different ip address (no Routers management address that I have configured to the ip address of the client MSIAS) when he start chatting with the Server IAS Ms. I can router cisco 6509, what ip address it uses when start changing packages with MS IAS.

source-interface IP radius

To force the RADIUS to use the IP address of an interface specified for all outgoing packets to RADIUS, use the ip radius source interface global configuration command.

    The common technologies used to build web service applications is AXIS or CXF. What Jdeveloper technology allows built web service application?

    It depends on the option selected during the creation of web services (if I remember correctly, there are several options, style J2EE 1.4 RPC style JavaEE JAX - WS 1.5,...)

    For example, to get the ip address of the compatible with jax - ws web service, you need to inject the context in your service class with:

    @Resource
    WebServiceContext wsContext;

    and then inside your method:

    MessageContext mc = wsContext.getMessageContext();
    HttpServletRequest req = (HttpServletRequest)mc.get(MessageContext.SERVLET_REQUEST);
    String ip = req.getRemoteAddr();

  • Can built-in DHCP of WLC provide IP addresses for the wired client?

    Hello

    We have a WLC running on 7.0.98.0. It provides IP addresses for users without comment thread. Now, we would like to put a couple of wired posts for customers who do not bring mobile no. I wonder if I put these workstations on the same vlan without comment thread, they can always get IPs of the WLC. If this isn't the case, I put the static IP on these workstations.

    Thanks in advance.

    Robert

    Rob:
    The answer is simply "no". WLC cannot provide clients wired on the same VLAN wireless whose IP address if DHCP is configured on WLC.

    Fbarboza above metnioned is a 'very' special configuraiton on wireless LANs where the WLC is configured to support some wireline customers and he needs to have two WLCs (the show is called Wired comments). This particular case does not apply to your situation.

    With your situation, my answer above apply.

    Note

    A internal DHCP server pool will only serve the wireless clients of that controller, not clients of other controllers. Also, internal DHCP server can only serve wireless clients and not wired clients.

  • IP address of the VPN client must demonstrate external IP of ASA 5505

    Hi guys,.

    We have a small project with the Government which has some difficult requiment with security.

    Current situation;

    1 site the Government has allowed a public IP address of our company to access their server in-house.

    2. in our office, staff can connect to their server using RDP by Cisco ASA 5505 I configured with two or three clicks.

    3. this ASA was outside (public) Government of authorized IP address.

    Request amended;

    1. given the increase in the tasks, our staff must have access to the Government of the home server.

    2. Government will not grant vpn access to them directly.

    3. they ask us to provide our staff VPN then RDP access to the Government site.

    I have install VPN and it connects very well with no problems just for the connection itself.

    But if I check using www.whatismyIPaddress.com, he demonstrated local IP address that they got by their ISP not CISCO ASA 5505 outside the interface.

    The problem is unlike Microsoft ISA 2006 VPN which shows the external public IP address when a client connects to the VPN server, Cisco vpn client shows that it is the local IP address that is not in its list in the Government site.

    I'm more like Ms. guy then Cisco as I did ' t have a lot of chances to play with Cisco, sorry about that.

    Is that what I missed in the middle of config or needs a setting more to achieve this?

    How can I make client VPN to show it's IP address to the interface of Cisco ASA rather than the IP address of the local ISP?

    Thanks in advance,

    Charlie

    have you added "same-security-traffic permit intra-interface" like I said in the previous post?

  • Find the name of host or IP address of the Workstation client of Virtual Office

    Hello

    I want to find the name or IP address of the workstation of the user within the virtual desktop OS.  Both are Windows XP.  The reason is that I want to run a logon script to run an application on the virtual desktop that establishes a network connection on the user's desktop.  For example:

    (1) user establishes a connection from their local workstation (IP: 10.1.1.25) to a virtual office

    (2) the command runs on the virtual desktop that retrieves the name of the host or IP of the virtualdesktop (10.1.1.25)

    (3) another command is running on the virtual desktop, which establishes a local network on the virtual desktop to workstation(IP:10.1.1.25) connection of the user

    (4) users and I are happy because it's all automatic

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Hello

    There are several ways to do what you want. The easiest way is to use the local environment variable %CLIENTNAME%.

    Go in the virtual desktop from the command line, type: echo %CLIENTNAME%

    Now you should see the name where the client connects from the client.

    What you have to do is to write a script that gets the variable ping, of the environment, the name and read the answer which is the IP address.

    You can use the VB script that or a command script.

  • change the IP address of the RADIUS server

    Hi all

    I'm looking to reloacte a Ganymede server + inside the demilitarized zone and, consequently, the server will be on a new IP range.

    I will seek the role these command using chat tools that I have a large number of switches

    the configuration of switches is less than

    existing Ganymede:

    host key 10.11.11.40 radius-server 9090897979800090908

    Now I move the server to a new IP 10.99.1.40

    If I put the command

    host key 10.99.1.40 radius-server 9090897979800090908

    the configuration looks like this:

    host key 10.11.11.40 radius-server 9090897979800090908

    host key 10.99.1.40 radius-server 9090897979800090908

    I need to confirm that when I switch the server again this IP switches will turn to the new ip address of 10.99.1.40 and I do after all, that is, remove the old line: no host key 10.11.11.40 radius-server 9090897979800090908

    Or it will work now and I have to set up a group that is located at the bottom of the page from the link below

    http://www.Cisco.com/c/en/us/TD/docs/iOS/12_2/security/configuration/guide/fsecur_c/scftplus.html

    Thank you very much

    The method explained in the linked document is the most recent. On IOS 15.x the previous method (which still works) generates a message in the cli parser that it was withdrawn and Cisco recommends to the new method.

    That said, each method should work. The new method should be good all switches or routers with IOS 12.0 +.

    When there are two servers configured, IOS them will try in order and, if a response is not received in three trials (each in the case of multiple servers), it may fall to another configured method aaa (or fails aaa if no second method has been defined)

  • Email link with the email address of the admin client

    We include an e-mail to Webhelp to our product link to allow our users to send us your comments on specific topics (none received to date, but I live in hope that someone, somewhere, reads for help...).

    A customer asked if it is possible to include an email link in the help topics that will send an email to that client sys admin.

    Obviously, a search / replace on all htm files would be the case, for example to replace the email address of my company doc feedback with email of the customer on the link send comments. But is there a more elegant way to do it?

    • The e-mail address used in the link could be specified when using the product is installed. The installer should go through all of the htm files and do the replacement.
    • The e-mail address may be specified in a file separate and included somehow in all htm, while a single file would need to be changed by the installer.

    Someone at - it solved this problem already? Is the 2nd option above even possible?

    Cheers, Julie

    I guess you want to simply send e-mail to the user's system, right? If it is to be sent automatically in the background, you need a solution on the side server.

    I see two options: sets of variables and JavaScript.

    • With the sets of variables, you set the email as a variable. And that you configure a set for each customer. But you will end up with a single output by customer.
    • With JavaScript, you put all the logic for the email link in a script. Then you have just the single file where the e-mail address is stored. Then only one place to update. See the site of Peter for the sample scripts: Email this theme
  • Problem to get the IP address of the Client on ADF

    Hi all

    I use jdev 11.1.1.7.0 version

    In my case, I created a stubborn taskflow and deploy it to Webcenter.

    In this application I wrote the code for the customer as follows - ip address

    ExternalContext ectx is FacesContext.getCurrentInstance () .getExternalContext ();.

    HttpServletRequest request = (HttpServletRequest) ectx.getRequest ();

    String ip = request.getRemoteAddr ();

    but he returned

    127.0.0.1

    or in my env production he return server ip address.

    so my question is what is the problem with this code, why is not the ip address of the customer return

    or any other way to do

    This is a configuration on the weblogic server. You do not get the address of the default client. You must make a few changes to the configuration of your wls (see getting the IP address of the application client). If you do this, you should be aware of the implications that you find in the blog http://www.ateam-oracle.com/wls-plugin-enabled/

  • No remote access after you activate the Radius AAA

    Hello

    I can't access our catalyst 4006 after activating the AAA for RADIUS. I have install IAS on our domain controller configuration / a catalyst as a Radius client and configured a remote access policy that points to an ad group to allow access to the switch. I think that the immediate problem is that the source address of your switch ussed is not address who is pregnant with Ray. The Radius Server is 10.100.182.250 and it is in the subnet of the interface vlan 182. If the address of the interface vlan 182 will be the source address of the Radius request. Difficulty which is to use the command of source ip range address and specify the address at which you want the switch to be used. Of course, in the short term, it would be easier to change the Radius Server to wait 10.100.182.2 as the address of the customer.

  • Find the MAC address of the host remotely logged on to a domain

    Hello

    I work in an environment where we use the thin client (Sun ray DTU) to connect to sessions. The sessions are communicated through solaris servers, and windows servers. Explain further, the thin client connects user to the layers of solaris that connects to windows to allow the user a session window. Window servers are in a private domain. I work as a security consultant in the business and use a management software log for surveillance of newspapers. I collect the windows logs via the software (Application, security, installation, System) agent. My question is, HOW do I GET the MAC ADDRESS OF THE THIN CLIENTS? I have the IP address, username etc but not the mac address of the workstation. However - the TASK MANAGER and REMOTE DESKTOP SERVICES MANAGER give the MAC address in the CLIENT NAME. I raised the level of the event log to ' 5 "(through registry), enabled all policies audit with categories and subcategories as well but always without success." Client DHCP is unable to get a valid IP address from the DHCP server. I have a home edition of Windows XP attempts to connect to my router wirelessly with wireless or wired connection but I get an error in Event Viewer with the discription DHCP 1007 error message. From what I researched, I discovered that the DHCP service depends on the AFD, TCP/IP and NetBT services. All these services are correctly place and worked very well (even the DHCP service is running without error) but every time I try to release/renew my IP address I receive than DHCP warning in the case where the viewer and I just cannot get a valid IP address of the server (router) I also have one of these verizon wireless G3 usb adapters and it works fine. I also have a good ping back when I try to do a ping localhost (for the closure) I also tried the preinstallation of uninstalled drivers from the adapter/s and nothing works. The only entrees in the registry for DHCP error are also AFD, NetBT and TCP/IP nothing else there, also all the files in the/system32/drivers afd.sys netbt.sys and tcpip.sys in addition to solve the problem, I'll mention that I installed and reinstalled Northon earlier, I do not remember if the problem appears before or after that. Thanks for the information.

    I hope you know that it is risky to connect the laptop to the Internet with no firewall and no antivirus... If this laptop is already connected to the Internet in this State, he is perhaps already infected.

    You said you know the router works because the other computers can connect successfully to it.  You should check the configuration of the router to make sure that it is not configured to limit the number of IP address it supplies, and (b) it is not configured to filter users by MAC address.

    When this laptop is connected by Ethernet, even if he gets the IP address of 169.254.x.y, can you ping the router?  Find the IP address of the router on any computer connected to it by running the ipconfig command in a command prompt window.  The "default gateway" is the IP address of the router.  Run the ping command in the command prompt window as well.

    If the ping is successful, it is possible that you might be able to use an IP address in the correct range for an Ethernet cable (but I doubt that it works for the wireless).

  • Get the Thin Client IP address

    Hello. I'm trying to find out the IP address of the machine that I use for programming. I want to use my LabVIEW program on a server. However, the string to the property intellectual VI gives the IP address of the network, so in this case the server IP address. It is a problem, as we hope, in the future, run multiple thin on program clients, if we want the program to know what thin client, it works on. However, I don't have access to the command prompt on the thin client due to administrative restrictions. This eliminates the other solution I found, which was to find the Login Windows user name (each light client has its own unique user name) through different screw which involved the command prompt. Any ideas on how to find the IP address of the customer of the Services Terminal Server Session, I believe that my computer called? Thanks for your time.

    I called and he was referred to this, which worked. We use Citrix server and the username thing worked, and we are now able to run the program for each thin client using his user name.
