iPad 2 Air screen unresponsive

Hi all

I just got a new IPad 2 in Air, which works very well, with the exception of some strange problems with my touch screen which sometimes loses sensitivity, I have to press strongly path that normally so that the screen to recognize my contact, and even using a stylus (Wacom Bamboo Solo) does not at all help.

The strange thing is that when I'm at home, the device works perfectly, but when I'm in my University study room, he starts acting crazy.

I thought that maybe it's because it's cold and low temperature may affect the behavior of the iPad... But I still keep it inside a bag, and the House, what I am is pretty hot... If my stulys and my fingers are cold?

I use a screen protector, but I don't see how it might affect my iPad in certain situations and it works fine most of the time.

I tried to turn it works again, and forced him to leave her, but the problem is still there.

His frustration, I use the iPad to study, but I can't do it if the screen does not work!

Any ideas?

Press the sleep/wake and Home buttons and hold for at least 10 seconds.

If this is not enough, take a look at these articles Support from Apple:

As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo on the screen of your iPhone iTunes. After that on your computer, you should see the iTunes window saying that your iPhone needs to be restored to factory settings. Click Restore.

  • IPad 2 Air screen does not intermittently not

I have an iPad 2 air with ios9.1 installed. Every so often, the response of the screen for faucets and slides seems to slow down. When I slide across the screen I can see that what really happens is that the iPad I'm removing my finger for a slide becomes a series of notches, as if I'm lifting my finger on the screen. If I type, sometimes I type a letter twice to get the press to register. The only way to the iPad back to normal is a reset, holding the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears.

  • iPad iOS9 Air split screen does not work

I have an iPad Air (model A1474) & I can't get the split screen function to work in iOS9.3.1. I turned off the iPad, reset all settings, update all applications and I don't always get the bar of the double line to split the screen. Tried with mail & message/safari.

  • iPad Pro 12.9 "screen darker when compared to Pro 9.7" iPad and iPad 2 Air

Comparing the screens on the Apple Store, I noticed every 12.9 "Pros on display screens faded compared to the new 9.7" iPad 2 Air and my own iPhone Pros 6 Plus. I made your real was turned off and all the display settings are equal. I compared using the calendar application, because the difference was most obvious with a white background. Apple staff was unable to explain the difference in brightness, which has been seen on the new 9.7 "Pro, the IPad look older and my own phone. A staff member cited the 9.7 "Pro of new technology as the cause of the screen, but this does not explain why the Air 2 and my iPhone 6 were also brighter.

I want to check on a different Apple Store but have not had the chance to get a still. Given that I don't know people on the forums have several iPads, I was wondering if you could compare and see if there is a difference. The Pro of 12.9 "had a problem of yellowing after launch, but I don't think it's the same problem. I couldn't find any other mention of this problem online.

I took some photos while I was there. The Pro of 12.9 "has my thinking about it, but you can still see the faded screen. I couldn't get the Air iPad there because it was on another table. I really want to buy the biggest Pro, but not if there is a problem with the screen. This discoloration was observed on all the advantages they had on display.

Anyone with two iPads that lets compare the screens?

  • Apple iPad 2 Air or iPad Mini 4 in terms of longevity? Who would you do?

Hello world! I buy a new Apple iPad and my budget is $ 400 and I noticed that the iPad mini 4 and the iPad 2 air are both at $400.

Now, the iPad 2 air is stronger because there an A8X but the iPad Mini 4 has an A8, but the mini is 1 year of most recent. My question is:

When news updates, most particularly important as iOS 12, 13, (round number Updates) come out, which will undergo them longer and work on them better?

If Apple makes the iPad 2 Air do not get the updates but the iPad Mini 4 prompting, I'd rather have the mini.

Thank you very much for your answers!

    Hi jojelllybean,

I don't think we can answer that since it's only Apple who decides what devices are eligible for a new update of the OS and if so, how the update affects (for example, the night shift does not in older devices, even when they are upgraded to iOS 9.3.2).

If I had to choose between those, I'd take the iPad 2 air because I can't work with a smaller screen. Also, by having a material more powerful more likely to be able to receive upgrades in the future. In fact, iOS 9 can be installed in any device where iOS 8 is already installed, but again, this does not mean that you will see as well all the improvements (i.e.: slower system).

If you can work with the Mini size, go get him.

  • iPad 2 Air backlight bleeding problem

    Hello world

I let down my iPad 2 Air (warranty expired) with my case of 50cm in height, and then my screen bleed a few lights. There is not a crack, touch screen and other functions are operational.

I heard iPad Air 2 has a unibody screen, if the screen change cost more than 1000 + RM, then it is not really meaningful. Why not buy a new one, you know.

I wonder - is it necessary to change the entire screen? or just a connector problem?

To determine what the problem is, the iPad needs to be tested. Take it to an authorized service provider.

  • My iPad 2 Air won't let me note songs

    Hello

My iPad 2 Air is on the software up to date, and it does not rate individual songs. I tried restarting it and also reset to factory settings and re-sync it but still have the same problem. Can anyone help? I'm probably doing something really stupid so I'm a little embarrassed to ask, but he's really starting to annoy me now! Any help would be greatly appreciated!

How are you trying to do? The currently playing song should show at the bottom of the music app, tapping that should make the track full screen - click on the cover of the album should fade/blur work and give you five points to set his side; Press the point you want to classify it so, tap anywhere on the work blurry to return to the display of the work, then on the top arrow pointing left to minimize the track and return to the track selection screen.

Had the same problem.  As seen in another forum solution. It has something to do with the split screen. From the Email, drag right to open the shared contacts. Then drag completely to the left to have only Contacts. It remained open for me. Since then, I can open, use and close Contacts without him closing erratically. Now everything is back to normal.

NO mouse will work on iOS and Apple iDevices.

Your fingers are your the mouse input device.
