IPad charging not

My iPad 2 recharges only 17%. Once there, he stops. I had a few years without any problems. If you think it's the cord of the charger or the unit itself?

I would try another charger if possible - preferably one known to work

If that leads to the same result, then it is probably your battery

Also, you can click on help at the top of this page and chat with Apple - they may be able to run a remote diagnosis

  • iPad charging problem

I have a slight problem because whenever I connect my iPad to my MacBook. The charge indicator will start to blink continuously between the load and do not load. My iPad is on iOS 10 beta also and my iPad charges with the normal load brick in the wall without problem. Any help appreciated.

    Alex

At best, the iPad will get only a charge of maintenance by the usb port and will take a long time to load. The off / / indicator means he needs more power than the usb port can provide. Use the wall charger.

If this started after you installed the beta version operating system, we cannot discuss beta programs here. You must take this in the developer community.

  • Load my iWatch with Ipad charger?

    Hi guys!

I lost my original charger for my iPhone which I used to charge my iWatch with. My question is if I can use my iPad charger to charge my iWatch? Nino

I assume you mean the wall charger (connects to the power outlet). It is possible, but the continuous use could damage the battery in your Apple Watch (not iWatch). Apple Watch is made to be used with a 5V charger, Apple watches and iPhones come with these. I hope this helps!

  • IPad will not exceed a black page with apple

I don't know how to find info on the model for you because I can not activate it.  I repeatedly tried to charge my ipad.  By pressing the Home button and the button, (knowledge of course very sophisticated technology), turn to and Apple appears.  After a few minutes, the screen goes black.  I tried two different Chargers and cords.  I tried using a socket and charge through my laptop. I looked for information about the resolution of this problem, and it says to reset.  There was a video, but I couldn't follow directions.  Any suggestions?

  • Can I charge my iPod with my iPad charger or different voltage

Can I charge my iPod Classic with my iPad charger or the voltage is different?

The voltage is the same, so you can try it safely.  Apple says...

Using the iPad with your iPhone, iPad, and iPod - Apple Support power adapters

However, I have seen the reports here this iPod classic does not work with some of Apple's USB adapters.  For example, it is the adapter of 12 watts of power, which is the one that is provided with some iPad models

    http://www.Apple.com/shop/product/MD836LL/A/Apple-12W-USB-power-adapter

While other iPods are listed under compatibility, iPod classic is not.  The smaller adapter 5 watts of power (which came with mini iPad)

    http://www.Apple.com/shop/product/MD810LL/A/Apple-5W-USB-power-adapter

shows iPod classic models under compatibility.  Another power supply supplied with iPads works 10 watts; There is no separate current entry for it in the Apple Store.

  • 3rd gen iPad does not load only red battery

My iPad suddenly not charge or sync. I only get the empty red symbol and or the Apple logo when I unplug and re - connect the charger cable. It will not turn on. I use the same USB cable comes with the iPad and have also tried my iPhone cable with my iPhone AC plugin but the results are the same. I had each cable connected for 24 hours and nothing. The iPad is not recognized by iTunes is indicated anywhere on the computer with one small exception. When you use the USB cable to charge/sync with my computer I get a message window telling me new iPad software version 9.3.1 is ready for an update, but when I click on update I get a message error "iPad cannot be synchronized. An internal error has occurred"and"an unknown error occurred (-50). My iPad does not appear as a device on iTunes. I tried to do a reset by pressing the sleep/power button & the big button on the screen, but nothing happens.

Thanks for any other suggestions to get this ipad works again

Have you tried the steps outlined in the article below? If so, I would recommend taking the iPad at the Apple Store for the assessment.

  • Dead button, mini home iPad does not

I left my mini ipad charging for a whole day yesterday and was just dead when I arrived home (connected at about 07:30, got home around 22:00).

I tried locking push button and the "home" button and went into account before that, my home button works well so I think that there is no guarantee that I can perform the reset in this way. The last time I had similar problem last year (the case was also dead after left load for a long time), I took to a third party service center and was functioning properly shortly after. I plugged my ipad back into power source, nor any laptop computer. Is it possible that I can try to solve this problem before coming back to the service center? Since it costs me a lot of money.

    Turn on the AssistiveTouch

When you turn on the AssistiveTouch, you will see the AssistiveTouch menu. You can drag it to any edge of the screen, then press the menu to open it.

There are several ways to turn on AssistiveTouch:

    • Go to settings > general > accessibility > AssistiveTouch, then turn on the AssistiveTouch.
    • Tell Siri 'Activate AssistiveTouch.'
    • Go to settings > general > accessibility > accessibility shortcut and turn onto AssistiveTouch.

When the accessibility shortcut is enabled, you can enable AssistiveTouch on or off from any screen using Triple-click home. Simply press the Home button three times. To adjust the speed Triple-click, go to settings > general > accessibility > home-click speed.

Replacement of the device under warranty

If you have the opportunity to get the button replaced (by obtaining the replaced device), it would probably be the best route. It would be much easier to use a functional button only to use AssistiveTouch. If your machine was purchased less than a year before, or you bought AppleCare and the unit was purchased less than TWO years ago, it is under warranty. The warranty does not apply if the unit has been dropped or suffered from any accidental damage to the user. If the unit is not under warranty, you can see...

AssistiveTouch allows you to control your device

You can use AssistiveTouch to find and adjust some settings on your device as Volume, screen, lock screen rotation and more. Click on the AssistiveTouch menu and click on the parameter to be modified.

To turn off your device, follow these steps:

    1. Open the AssistiveTouch menu and tap device.
    2. Touch and hold the lock screen until "slide to power off" appears.

You can also use AssistiveTouch to access your home screen. Just open the menu AssistiveTouch and press Home. To use Siri, open the menu AssistiveTouch and press Siri. You won't see Siri on devices with iOS 5 or later.

To access your Notifications, go to the AssistiveTouch menu and press Notification Center. To reach the control center, go to the AssistiveTouch menu and press Control Center. From there, you will be able to do things like turn Bluetooth on and off, use AirPlay and AirDrop, take pictures and much more

  • My ipad charge while I went to work on the left

I went to bed last night with my Ipad charging and awake and I forgot to turn it off and wondered off to work. Now a little worried it could explode and set fire to my house. Please tell me this wont happen!

    Thank you

    Becky

No worries, I left mine plugged in for several days (over a weekend, for example) at the same time without any problems and I always plug my iPad and iPhone into the night while they are charged in the morning. The camera handles so they simply stop when the battery is at capacity of load and go in standby controls (in fact not full sleep as the remains of WiFi active when plugged in and standby screen, that's why icloud backups are supposed to take place when in this State).
