  I just bought a new xbox360 for Christmas and since the purchase, he showed color display only green and purple.   Hello

  My HP Pavilion g6 - 1207ev is the Green and purple lines on the screen appearing. He started out of the blue, they come ang from time to time, but when they appear, they remain even after it closes down or restart.

  Any piece of advice?

  So, it looks like you have intermittent video display problems. I'm happy to help you with this.

  When happens the screen glitch happened after the computer has been running for a while, or it is immediately after power-up?

  You said the problem recurs after a stop and restart. Is this an immediate restart or you let the system closed for a period of time?

  If the computer is stopped, for say half an hour, and then restarted never arrive glitch screen?

  I am trying to determine if it seems to happen when the computer is hot and has worked, or if it occurs also on starting cold. If this only happens when the computer is hot or warm, so it suggests a problem of heat or a board failure. If it happens randomly on a boot cold and often does not occur if the computer has been running for a long period, it may be a conflict pilot any.

  When I open my Nikon files in Camera Raw I sometimes green and purple edges separate around bright objects, and especially if the image is slightly underexposed. Open the same file in Nikon Capture NX2, there is nothing of these lines to see. Someone at - it was affected by the same and if anyone has a solution to this I'd be very happy to hear about it.

  I have windows developer and I love using it and is very useful,

  BUT recently im trying to make my bmx video edit and going to use it to try to get offered and took at least 6 hours of work in and now the screen (veiwing) in the right corner displays the video in 4 little green and purple boxes... and but only in a few videos... I'd love if theres a way to fix this... Please... ID prefer this filmmaker on LIVE, but please help.

  Just a few ideas...

  It is possible that you have some compatibility issues with one or more of
  your source files.

  Several formats are apparently compatible with Movie Maker but the
  more reliable choices are:

  Photos - bmp
  Video - wmv or dv - avi
  Audio - wav, wma, wmv

  It may be worth trying to go to... Tools / Options / Compatibility tab and
  Uncheck all filters. If this does not help... try... Tools / Options /.
  Left and the Compatibility tab, click Restore all the default button.

  If you've spent 6 hours to create a Movie Maker project... it's more
  that probably too big or too complex for the resources of your system. Try to create
  several smaller projects and publish (save) in the. WMV
  film format. Then you can combine them into a single file for re-import
  WMV files collected, the drag in the timeline and publish them.

  I only had my computer for two months.

  I'm playing with the colors, and now I can't go back to the default colors. I managed to get rid of the purple text, but cannot get rid of the Green faces with everyone, stories in my own personal photos.

  I SEE everywhere is purple and green.

  I took many choices by going to "customization", but all I want is to go back to normal / default. I don't want text and colorful faces!

  I called Dell tech support today and this guy couldn't have known what to do after an hour of playing with it remotely. He wanted to send me a label and I could box it upward and send it to them.

  He put me on hold, and I just hung up.

  Then, I took it back where I bought it.  This store asked me to leave it for a week.

  So I went with the computer and sales one of the guys to let me use his computer to get onto a chatroom with their own technical support.  Their tech support guy had me do an uninstall of graphics and then reinstalled.

I read your post on the Forums of HP Support. I wanted to join you and help! I understand that your HP Pavilion dv6-3152sl notebook PC startup, you see the Green and pink lines.

  Note Remove all USB devices. Disconnect all devices of non-essential, as these can cause some problems.

  If you connect your laptop to an external monitor, the lines appear on the screen to the external monitor also?

  Have you tried to Uninstall the graphics drivers? If this isn't the case, please uninstall and then restart the computer laptop twice.

  Have you tried to Reset the BIOS?

  Here is another option for you to try:

  • In Device Manager:
  • Click display adapters
  • Right-click on family Graphics
  • Select software update of the driver
  • Select search automatically for updated driver software.
  • The laptop must find and automatically install the updated driver. Once the installation is complete, restart your laptop twice.

  Have you tried using HP Support Assistant to automatically search for updates? Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant, if you need it. Simply download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system at the time of purchase or need to be updated.

  Hello everyone, I'm new here. My G570 is old a few years and just recently started showing a pink screen with a few green vertical bars on the side of HR of the screen. Can see traces of green vertical lines through the pink colouring. Has said that it may need a replacement of the screen. Any truth to this?

  According to the request, we understand that you are facing problem with the system having a green and pink screen in your laptop Lenovo G570.

  As you mentioned that there is a pink display with green stripes, please connect the external monitor and check the issue.

  Also try to update the display drivers to the latest version and check for the issue.

  I did a live update for a new bios it installed and work, after the reboot, my screen metor is slow, he hasmore icon than he had done previously and now my brightness control has stopped working on the screen. I can't turn down the brightness at all in the control parameter or power controls.

  How to take the subway at only 3 rows of icons and how do Iget my brightness control works again? It's virtually unusable tablet, screen is bright andmetro screen is horrible slow. Already done a reboot, live update shows no new updates.

  Nevermind, I saw in the device manager that the firmaware somehow wantedanother restart to complete the update of the firmware. Very strange, because it seems to complete the first time and the live update did not show anything in the waiting.

  This product Tag number you provided is not coming as valid on the Dell site.  Please check again - I know it is difficult to read because it is so small.  So I could not check the details on your machine, but I don't know if this will help because Dell doesn't offer a lot of information on how to control hardware devices on their systems.  But if you check and send me the correct code, I'll try to cehck and see anyway.

  I found the following on the Dell site and don't know if it applies to your specific system, but this is something we have not tried, so it is worth it.

  Adjust the brightness

  Here is a thread in the Forum of Dell, I found on the issues of brightness with the Dell Inspiron 1545.  It includes the same procedure described above - but it includes a position that most of these problems is caused by problems with the motherboard.  I don't know if this is the problem, but if it is then, we deal with a hardware problem and not a software problem.

  My iPad has been slow and unstable - it actually seems to be hung when I use it. Once I put it, a blue line with four faces (which forms a rectangle or square) appears on the display and moves as he tries to anticipate my next actions or touch on the scree. All started about four days ago while I was downloading of articles in google scholar. A message that reflects something as "run scripts" or "scripts to run" appeared just before the problem started.   Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

  • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
  • Press and hold the Home button
  • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

  Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

  If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.
