IPAD look black screen - like black but no curtain

Hello

I have an IPAD 16 GB Wifi Silver Air and I have the following problem.

Recently (maybe to do with the upgrade to 9.3.1 but I can't be sure) after playing with the IPAD for about 20-30 minutes the screen goes black while I hear that the ipad still works (IE play a video). The touchscreen is sensitive, but nothing appears. I can get it back if I press the button sleep on and outside and asks me to slide to unlock. First, this happens so the frequency of the black screen is more faster, every 5 minutes and then every 2 minutes. If I let it cool then I can work for 20-30 minutes and I have the same behavior again.

I tried the hard reset with the buttons,

I tried factory defaults restore with iTunes as a new ipad

I tried enabling black curtain with three fingers and disable it

I disabled / enabled siri

I tried to tap on the back as suggested by some users. I turned to auto-lock forever. But always the same behavior.

Can you please help. Does anyone else have this behavior? How can I go down to see I

Best regards

Konstantinos

Take your device at the Apple Store. This may be the problem of equipment.

    This is my new tablets...

    (Sorry for my bad engglish)

    Hi Grenven,
Do what I say to reset (restart) your Tablet: -.
--> Memory location opened by card (SD card).
-> Take something thin and sharp as a safety pin or a toothpick.
-> Now, you will see a small hole like structure near SD card slot. (In fact it looks clearly if there is something on the inside, but there are.)
-> Spend your pointy thing in this hole up to a certain distance. (Pass slowly inside until you hear a clicking sound)
-> Who has the reset button which will restart your tablet of any situation.
-> Do not lose patience while finding the reset button. Do what I say and your tab will be back normal. Find it for the first time is a little more difficult but follow my steps, and you will get it.

    Good luck...!!

  • Satellite L505 - 14 d: my screen is black, but the computer is still running

I bought this computer in September and it worked fine except this time I had to reload the whole system because of two anti-virus programs, but I think that this has nothing to do with my problem. I've been on the PC, the other day, and all of a sudden it turned black. I wasn't doing anything unusual. When I looked at him the screen was all black, but the computer was working as he has always done. I also saw that the market and stop switch on the digital/lock pad would not react. (a green light appears when the caps lock/num pad is activated). What should I do to get this computer running again WITHOUT permanent black screen?

    Hello

What happens if you press the power button / stop 4 sec long?
You see the Red Toshiba home screen?
Have you tried the external monitor or FN + F5 option?

    I think you should also try the common workaround;
Remove the battery and unplug the AC adapter. Wait a few hours and reconnect the two parts. Then try to turn on the unit.

After the last update of fusion, my VM 7 Win shows a black screen. The mouse is always visible on the screen, and everything is work and display the preview in the library window. I have disabled the accelerated graphics and still nothing, as well as updating my vmware tools. When I stop the virtual machine, I get the screen to show, but restarts, it goes black again, and rebooted several times.

any thoughts? I have a bunch of stuff that I have to get out of it to the ability I have to erase and start over.

    Thank you!

After a few other troubleshooting, I found that I was waiting on an update to OSX as well. Did the update, and everything came and works correctly. Figure I'll add that, just in case where someone is looking for a solution.

  • IPhone 6 dropped, the screen goes black, but returns to normal

I dropped my iphone 6, initially, the screen was black, but everyting worked perfectly I could even take pictures. I put on charger and tapped on the back of the iphone and the screen comes alive and everything was normal, nothing strange occurred during use, but after blocking and leaving intact, the black screen again to open. I had to put it in the charger and the tap at the back as before. Now I can't leave my iphone intact or the screen will become black again. I need help please! Is there a solution for this or would I need to take it to a shop to fix it?

Hardware problems should be diagnosed at the Apple Store, or an authorized service provider.

My guess would be that you probably have a damaged connection or in bulk as a result of the fall. That is why she helps when you press back.

  • HP Pavilion dv6 - black screen on startup, but works using the secondary monitor?

    I use a Pavilion dv6 WV815AV, and I used it for 3 years now.

I tried to start the computer and the fan and lights are lit, but not the monitor.  I tried to plug in my high school, and it's that now treats as if it were the only screen.  I had problems in the past of a few times where I would get past the HP logo, and then there would be a substantial delay where the screen remains black but be illuminated, but most of the time that he would go to the screen connection, and if not, a simple reboot managed to solve the problem.

Thoughts on how should I solve it?

    Thank you!

Hi mybluesock, sorry to hear that you have a problem with the monitor not just not. I did some research and I found a document that can help you. Click on the link for the document.     http://support.HP.com/us-en/document/c01997899

    Hello

    · What is the number and the model of the computer?

    · This occurs when you are working on any specific file format?

    · Were there any changes made on the computer?

    · You play the file in mode full screen?

    Change hardware acceleration

    a. you can try to change the hardware acceleration in the middle and check (you can try another level too.)

    b. right-click on a space empty on the desktop.

    c. go to the resolution of the screen.

    d. click Advanced settings, and then click the "troubleshooting."

    e. set hardware acceleration in the middle. (Here you'll get the only option your video card sound support).

You can also check: you receive an error message of codec or audio plays video but does not play when you play media files in Windows Media Player 11: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/926373

Start the computer in safe mode (press F8 continuously immediately after power and don't worry beeps when you press the button) and let it boot without a network.  Once there right click on the desktop and then click Properties.  Click settings and the value of the monitor mode (640 X 480) VGA or SVGA (800 X 600).  Accept the changes and restart the computer.  You should have a mediocre screen, but you should see it now.  Download and install the appropriate drivers for your video card in the laptop to the web site of the manufacturer of the laptop.  Install the drivers and then you should be able to set the display of the laptop to the correct native resolution for your computer monitor (must be in the documentation of the laptop).

References to Vista also apply to Windows 7.

No registration necessary data and re - install Windows 7 might be the best option, but here are a
    few others.

You can save your files by putting the drive in another computer or an external hard drive enclosure, then
saving them. Do this using several methods to redundantly. Of course, a real computer
Shop or the manufacturer of your system can help to recover the files.

Or you can use a boot Ubuntu CD to back up data.

You can access Mode safe? Repeatedly press F8 as you start? If yes you can try Control Panel
-Double click - Driver tab - click on UPDATE driver - device Manager - map - graph
then right click on the device and UNINSTALL - REBOOT.

A method to try to get to the desktop (try in normal Windows Mode without failure) is CTRL +.
ALT + DELETE - Manager tasks and tab process EXPLORER.exe and COMPLETE the PROCESS on this subject - and then
on the Applications tab - lower right - new task - type in EXPLORER.exe. Safe mode is available by
repeatedly tapping F8 as you start. CTRL + SHIFT + ESC also begins the Task Manager.

Black screen problems are extremely difficult to repair and all hotfix is usually a hit or miss
base. That there is no information on a black screen as there is just a blue screen
adds to the difficulty. Often using a restore point or Startup Repair will have no effect.

You can try a google to see the proposed repairs, whom some have worked however these
cover a wide field of efforts.

  • IPad 2 - black backlit display

    Hello

This morning, I dropped my Ipad about 2.5 feet, I tried the combo 'Home and the power button': the white Apple appeared as a normal launch but then the screen turned black with backlighting. Whenever I tried to press the power button, my home page appears in a bare Flash, and then everything went black again.

I also tried the reset via iTunes, but it did not work because my Ipad is connected to the cloud. So I tried the update via iTunes that has worked and now when I start my iPad, I have the "Hello" page with no problems and the Ipad becomes black again when I have to enter a new code. The software seems to function as well as the touchpad, because every time I activate VoiceOver, he described the page I don't see. Help me please!

You can retry the forced reboot, see if that helps.  Press the sleep and home for about 20 seconds. See if you can see the silver Apple. When you let go and let finish restarting.

Part of me thinks that the digitizer is damaged, but you see not starting the process any results (see the Apple but not the screen, once he finishes the boot upward)

Amother thing that you can try - even if you don't try this at your own risk - is to gently slap the back of your device. If something was jarred loose you the jar in place. Of course you might all like Let's finish kill so certainly do it at your own peril.

One other thing that is safer to do would be to make an appointment at your local Apple store and have them check. Of course the 2 is an older device and probably out of warranty so all you can get from them is the offer of an out of warranty replacement. And honestly, if I were given the choice of spending a few hundred dollars replacing a 5 year old unit or shelling out a bit more for a newer model, I would go for the new model.

To end, even if your device comes back you can prepare yourself to have his last days. Because if she does once he can do it again.

As a final step, try recovery mode. Turn off your unit, then plug it to your computer with the hold home button. Hold down Home button until you see the logo on the screen of your iPhone iTunes. After that on your computer, you should see the iTunes window saying that your iPhone needs to be restored to factory settings. Click Restore.

  • String nouvis did my video go black but I still audio

I use first Pro, Im working with a handheld home video DSLR (500 MB 2.5mins) and slide the stabilizer option of curvature to the timelime, after it is completed, my preview window was black, but I could still hear the audio, I guess it has something to do with the balance or the positioning of the video, but I'm not sure.  any advice on how I can center so I can see it? Thank you

You can also try the process with a small segment of your clip.  A 2.5 minute clip is a mouthful for stabilizer of distortion even on a powerful computer.  See what's happening with a clip of five or ten seconds. I would like to make a subclip with no tail - you will get a question 'do you want to limit the clip', 'Yes, do you' is the answer.  Try to stabilize that.

Try Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there.

A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open the Firefox 4, 5, 6, 7 SafeMode pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

If it's good in Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.
