  What are your settings of GPU acceleration?  As I understand it, the Alt right click size and hardness adjust needs acceleration GPU to be turned on, but I have a feeling Brush hardness is always set to easy when using fluidity.  You can still see the quick mask as representation of the soft brush when Alt right click, but you can't change the hardness.

  Is that you can change the brush size and pressure (framed in red in my screenshot) Alt right click drag left and right changes size and down to pressure changes, and you can see what is happening in real-time by looking at the sign on the right.  It works independently of your acceleration GPU (IME) settings, but you don't get the effect of soft red quick mask.

  

  Does this fit with what you see, or you are not able to change things at all?  If not, then I've always found that fluidity consumes system resources, if you could check the Task Manager > Performance tab to see what kind of RAM and CPU use is using the fluidity.  That's what I see after direction the lens above with a big brush continuously for 10 seconds.  Note This is on a fairly quick NLE System.

• Is it possible to assign the hand tool in Photoshop CS 6-button of the mouse/pen?

  Hello Forums out there,

  So many questions Monoprice to address here. Before receiving this tablet monoprice for my birthday, I used to use an old bamboo Wacom Bamboo Fun Touch CTH - 661. Pen of the only tablets, I used to be able to use the low pen button to select brush and pen switch high panoramic of the image, I was working on that.

  I get that... and now all I can do is can assign mouse buttons to the buttons of the pen, not the keyboard shortcuts. Now I can only use the low pen button (select brush) because the right click which makes appear. Not so much for the panning of the image.

  I have already contacted Support Customer Monoprice and dead. Please DO NOT suggest to return to them with this problem

  I ask people, is there any possible way to fix this?

  But the fact remains that this isn't a Photoshop problem and we cannot help you.  I tried to find links that might be useful, because we cannot be of direct assistance for you.  I've based my theory about them being new by the fact that I had never seen a reference to the Monoprice products after years of helping people on this forum and didn't know they still existed, but in recent weeks, we suddenly had a number of questions about them.

  My last disposable link was intended to clarify the situation and not a serious attempt to help.  The previous suggestions "were" a serious attempt to help, and it took several minutes looking for your problem for you.

  What particular Tablet do you have?  There keys Express, you can use instead of the bottom mouse button?  I own an Intus4 and 2 Companion Cintiq and find the keys to the invaluable Express.  With the Cintiq complementary 2 I use a small keyboard to the left and I have experimented with the use of a ShuttlePRO2 of outline drawings (I used usually only with Premiere Pro and After Effects) but it increases the usability of the Cintiq.

  If Monoprice pilots are flakey, and it seems that they are, then all I can say is you are trying to find workarounds until, if ever, they fix their drivers.

  I can use the stylus to write, but that part of the word appears.  I checked this in notes on my ipad and displays the whole word.

• Tools keep switching back to one selected previously - frustrated!

  I have suffered from this problem for some time, but it is eventually got to the point where I can't tolerate pain, especially given the very high price of the suite Adobe.

  I'm running an Intel i7 installed Win7 64 with CS5. 12 GB of RAM, disc scratch on a disc for installation. The problem manifests itself in 32 and 64-bit Photoshop.

  The problem is that when I select a new tool with a keyboard shortcut, there is a brief paus and the cursor turns into the new tool, then he just passes it back to the previous tool. The behavior is not aparrent when selecting tools by using the buttons in the Toolbox with the mouse/pen.

  Example:

  -Move the currently active tool

  -Press b to activate the brush

  s ' flow 500ms

  -Cursor turns into brush, icon from Toolbox "Brush" as if chosen highlights.

  -800-1000 ms later, tool resets to 'Move', 'Move' icon in the Toolbox highlights.

  The only solution I've found is if I quickly 'Double Tap' keyboard shortcut (or sometimes triple/quadruple), it seems to force change. PS restart does not help, the problem exists in all the files of all sizes. The user interface is also significantly lag.

  I've set up with this problem for months, but I finally cracked. I am extremely frustrated. You spend £1,500 on a piece of software, you expect the user interface of the function.

  Finally solved!

  And I can confirm, at least for CS5 and WIn7 64 Bit, that the fix works with Configurator 3.

• Can I disable/hide the window animation of tilt brush?

  Adobe introduced the brush dynamics in CS5 and I'm fine with that. I'm not fine with is not able to hide this pop window which is supposed to help you know how the pen is positioned in space. It's boring. I want to hide, or at least to reduce its size. He takes takes too much place and I don't know if someone spends their time watching while drawing. I like the icon brush at the end and how it changes the angle-based form. It should be perhaps in feature request?

  If you point the mouse/pen on the top of the window, you can press the X to close the window, or go to view > view and uncheck the box overview of brush.

  You can also move the window or click the double arrow to make the window smaller.

  

• Why is it not possible to assign a keyboard shortcut to onion skinning? (Allowing you to alternate power)

  In Flash CS6 in the animation frame by frame by hand, I am constantly toggle onion on and outside, and even with the 'loop' just next button for a certain range of pictures. None of them seems to be assignable to a keyboard shortcut, which means I have to take the mouse/pen drawing and press these buttons several times per minute, really put a damper on the workflow.

  We put the question of the next update? This seems obvious, especially for a program that many people use for the hand-drawn animation projects.

  Onion skin, wide loop, etc., can now be set in the keyboard shortcuts window. A very recent addition is that once you have defined a key, the key you used shows also at the forefront of aid.

  I don't know which key makes sense right! As I'm on Mac I used ctrl-O and ctrl-L. Not that I have to toggle them too often.

  Imagine paint a line starting in the middle of the image to the right, then jump all the way at the edge of the right hand.  At this point, the line reappears on the left as if by magic, and continues as long as you move the mouse/pen.  Similarly, any operation that is triggered any edge (right, left, up or down) continues on the corresponding edge.  The wrap in the two-dimensional edges.

  I could swear I've seen it in the app a few years, maybe Photoshop, but can't find it now.  It does in Photoshop? What is a characteristic of an another painting/raster (or vector, in fact) program?

  Not quite what you describe, but extended PShop a 3D > new tiled painting.

• CS4, G5, Tiger, OpenGL

  This all started when I tried to use the feature in CS4 to change the size of the brush head.

  Instead of using the bracket keys, one is able to hold down the Control + Alt and drag the mouse/pen. What happens then is the size of brush head changes accordingly and is displayed in red. Accept when I do, I can see the size of the brush, enlarging or reducing, but there is no red color.  In fact no color at all during the process, just a round circle.

  Someone suggested that my graphics card was not up to date, I checked and it is.

  Then I have updated my copy of CS4 to the current version.

  I then went in preferences to turn on OpenGL, but it is 'grayed out Out". I was told that I needed to upgrade from Tiger to Leopard or Snow Leopard for all CS4 to work functionality.

  I didn't upgrade to Snow Leopard I understand that there may still be some bugs. Second, my G5 is not equipped with Intel, so would not compatible anyway.

  I said that I would happily upgrade to Leopard, my local dealer told me to contact Apple, pay £20.00 and they would send me the upgrade disc. Except when I tried to do, they said that the upgrade is no longer available, and if I wanted to switch to Leopard it would cost me £83.00! I said how can you expect me to pay that amount for a BONE which is actually an older version (being aware of snow), they could not, or not responding. I then asked if, as I have also owned a brand new MacBook Pro with Leopard, could I not use these discs on my G5 desktop.  After all the BONE is mine! I bought it when I bought the MacBook Pro.  Surely, I can do what I like with him. I was told that the discs that come with the laptop are different and I would not be able to use the MacBook Pro leopard disks on my G5 up Tiger. I even offered to pay a royalty for the use of my own Leopard disks on my other machine. But I got no. you must buy a boxed version at 83 pounds.

  Not only that, but if I had the 83 books I know not which will allow me to turn on OpenGL anyway, and if does, who will heal my problem with the brush!

  I also feel that there are a number of other features in CS4 that I can't use because of the lack of OpenGL. Like being able to turn the layer that you are working, if you were using a pen tool (for example) and the angle was awkward, you could rotate or drag, move around the picture to help you.

  What is the general thinking guys? Leopard would improve my G5? And I could use my MacBook Pro disks to install Leopard on my G5 or are they specific to the laptop?

  I am running CS4 on a G5 Quad 2.5 Ghz Mac OS x 10.4.11 (11.0.1) (i.e. Tiger), with a Nvidia GeForce 6600LE graphics card.

  I can use the thin OpenGL features, including changing the size of the brush as you describe. So I don't think it is necessarily a problem with it being a G5 or running Tiger, but could be a graphics card problem if is not on the list of 'approved ':

  Must say I normally run with OpenGL as most of its 'features' is unrelated to what I use Photoshop for, actually harmful for me (for example how zoom levels are displayed) or thrift store interface cosmetic...

  I use the latest bluetooth Adonit Jot Touch w/pixel and it works very well on my Pro iPad with apps that he qualified for work.
