iPad WiFi Pro delivers?

I had a Pro 9.7 "iPad yesterday and while it is an excellent device there is something wrong with the WiFi, it is significantly slower than my iPhone 6 s via the same WiFi connection, my iPhone 6 s is good for 206Mbps + but the iPad Pro cannot get above 139Mbps, the signal indicator deposits also a bar even if it's a little more than 3 feet away from the router in the line clear view, by comparison, I can leave my house and head to halfway down the street and my 6s maintains the connection.

Add to that, I use an application called qDslrDashboard to connect to my camera via WiFi but the iPad Pro is unable to maintain a stable connection, so it is unusable, my iPhone 6 s and even my first gen iPad do not have any problems is clearly a problem with the iPad Pro, which is massively disappointing because I bought it mainly for this.

General suggestions for Wi - Fi problems, maybe one of them will help you...

(1) perform a forced reboot: hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons simultaneously for about 15-20 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. Leave the device to reboot.

(2) resetting the network settings: settings > general > reset > reset network settings. Join the network again.

(3) change of Google DNS: settings > Wi - Fi > click the network, delete all the numbers under DNS and enter 8.8.8.8 or otherwise 8.8.4.4

(4) turn off the QoS service on the router if available.

(5) reboot router/Modem: unplug power for 2 minutes and reconnect. Update the Firmware on the router (check manufacturer support Web site). Check that your router is certified Wi - Fi.

(6) determine if other wireless network devices work well (other iOS devices, Mac, PC).

(7) try the device on another network, i.e., neighbors, the public coffee house, etc.

(8) to restore the device (ask for more details if you wish).

  • Can I use my cell phone to Apple with my iPad wifi service?

I am new to the Apple family and have a question. I husk an Apple Ipad Wifi only Air2. I am now on the point of getting 6 s Apple through T-Mobile, my iPad will work with it even if it is wifi only? Thanks in advance for the help.

Don't know if T-Mobile supports a hotspot or not. I have AT & T and it does. In my case, I can use my iPhone as a hotspot for my iPad. I suggest to ask T-Mobile.

  • iPad volume pro alert still broken?

My new ipad volume pro alert is unexpected, much too low. Since I use the camera for urgent alerts, related to work, I'm about to return it and get a tablet of windoze (gasp). I prefer to stay with Apple, but I also prefer to remain independent.

    Hi unxrules

Let's start with what is obvious. Did you that the ALERT AND RINGTONE volume slider is completely upward?
    Settings > sounds

If this is the case, try to quit all applications and do a reset.

Reset: Press and hold the sleep/wake and Home buttons and do not let go until the screen darkens and the Apple logo appears (no data is lost)

  • iPad slide pro over/split screen unresponsive

    Good morning guys,

I upgraded my iPad my ipad air pro this week. I have restored my back upwards on iTunes (which took all night, number one problem).

Second, my split screen/slide will NOT work. On the few occasions that I got to work, he was an absolute fluke. I use the compatible apps etc (safari/iMessage/email/calendar).

I have a glass screen protector, but I know that's not the problem because it worked very well before going on and the screen is very sensitive even with the screen protector on.

My (apple geek extradornaire) husband is bewildered. We rebooted, factory reset everything. I even made the painful process of re-factory set and install my apps one by one, in the case where my backup was corrupted (because he took a night or more to install).

Third (and last at least I hope) lies in the fact that my iPad does not connect to our cast chrome. My iPhone and iPad Air had no problem, but this stubborn thing just doesn't work.

This may seem trivial, but $1500aud for something that does not work is really starting to annoy me. If anyone has had this problem and how the * did you solve it without having to visit apple?

Split screen and drag must be programmed in apps.

These features are not automatically built into iOS 9.

Most currently updated apps use the function drag on screen, but there are not too many applications that use the full split screen function.

In addition, Split Screen, I think, only works if the iPad is in landscape mode, only.

Slide in the works in portrait mode and landscape.

  • New Wifi Pro MB w / full Signal In & Out

Hello, I have a Time Capsule that works with my Brighthouse Echo internet. My iMac and more old Macbook my wife pro have no problem with the wifi. I have a new (mid 2015) 15 "Macbook Pro who randomly loses internet access, but the wifi symbol in my top bar shows full signal. I have two choices of wifi at home, my TC is a wifi network, and then the Echo system has its own name as well. The guy who installed it said I can use either one, and past speedtest on my other devices show that both run about the same speed, 90-100 Mbps on average.

When my Macbook loses internet/email I go to wifi choices and select the other network wifi of mine and he then reconnects instantly and my internet comes back on. I also understood that he does not have in other places. I worked in the library one day and starbucks one day and never lost my signal. So I have kind of narrowed it down to my network home and than on my Macbook Pro. I left the diagnosis wireless run in the background tonight while I was working and when my signal dropped, the wifi icon was full force and wireless diagnosis did not alert me or show any type of disconnect or error.

Below are my two options of home network WiFi and after that I just did a few speed test, I realized the wifi I've implemented with Echo is over 100 Mbps on download speed, and wifi Time Capsule that I initially put in place was around 3mbps. The thing is she did the timeout problem when I use wifi based Echo network b/c sometimes I just continues to blow backwards to keep resetting my internet signal.

Brighthouse Echo WiFi network - speedtest.net is just 102mbps

    PHY mode: 802.11n

    BSSID: 8 c: 09:f4:cf:ea:e5

    Channel: 149.1

    Country code: U.S.

    Network type: Infrastructure

    Security: WPA2 Personal

    Signal / noise:-67 dBm /-95 dBm

    Transmission rate: 81

    CSM index: 10

My 2nd generation wireless network Time Capsule, the firmware is 7.6.4 - speedtest.net was just 3mbps

    PHY mode: 802.11n

    BSSID: 00:24:36:a5:02:8f

    Channel: 1

    Country code: U.S.

    Network type: Infrastructure

    Security: WPA/WPA2 Personal

    Signal / noise:-68 dBm / 0 dBm

If someone has an idea what could be causing this I'd love to know. Thank you.

    * New information:

As stated above the Macbook Pro speed test with wifi, I've implemented with Echo is on 100 Mbps on download speed and Time Capsule wifi that I originally put in place on average only 3mbps. But I just test o speed n my end 2009 27 "iMac with El Capitan and the echo is slower of 80mbps, and the wifi using my TC was 114mbps! So basically...

MacBook Pro: more than 100 Mbps Echo / Around 3mbps Time Capsule

iMac: around 80mbps Echo / around the time Capsule 114mbps

  • Problems with iPad wifi

I have an iPad 4. A month ago I started having problems to make music to flow the iHeart, weather radar pages to load, and sometimes, to any web page using my wifi. I have to either activate the VPN feature to use my wifi or data on my phone by Personal Hotspot. My router is a Netgear Nighthawk R8000. I have checked & updated installed and restarted the router. • Error 56 - iPad WiFi 2 Air

How should I address "Error 56" on an Air 2 128 G WiFi iPad when try to restore settings on a 9.3.2 failure update iOS iPad?  I encounter the same problem which has been reported on Pro iPad models.  I tried to update and / or restore via iTunes several times.  I brought the device into an Apple store for the Department meeting with the Genius bar - that reproduces the problem / error 56 and recommended, I try to downgrade to iOS 9.3.1 my computer at home because he was not authorized to do so in the store.  He said if 9.3.1 resettlement did not work, I would need to replace the unit because it is 1 1/2 years.  Attempts to demote or to re - install the 9.3.1 software was also conducted by a failure with the error 56.  The iPad is 1 1/2 years.  It is not jailbroken.  It is not damaged or was damaged.  It has not been submerged or exposed to water.  It is only used on my home WiFi network.  From now - its an expensive paper weight.

    Search for hardware issues

If you see the error 53, know what to do. If you see one of the errors below, you may have a hardware problem:

    • 1, 3, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16
    • 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 56
    • 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667 1669

    Here's what to check:

    1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes.
    2. Look for problems with the third-party security software.
    3. Make sure that your USB cable, computer and network are reliable. Then try twice more to restore your iPad, iPhone or iPod.
    4. If you still see the error message, you can check obsolete or updated software or contact Apple technical support.
