IPhone 6plus - text box to the lock screen

Recently, I noticed that my lock screen got a new text box to enter my security PIN. I also see an OK button next to the text box to the lock screen that I did not see after the last update of OS. I did no upgrade of the OS recently and the current version is to 9.3.1 (13E238) (model: MGA82HN / A).

Is this something normal? I remember that this text box came after I tried to install Citrix Mobile Workstyle to configure my mailbox in the office. Is this a problem? What should I do to restore it to normal screen or Original (without text box and the OK button).

Try this

Settings > general > reset > reset all settings

This custom delete all user data

I want to be able to view my text messages to the lock screen, I don't have the option to preview the message in the settings.  Is this possible?

Make sure you have 'Show all content of notification' is enabled in settings 'Sound & notification '. Initially, you will have a compact on your lock screen map view when you receive a new message showing the first line of it, when you tap the map and pull down you will be able to read all the message of the lockscreen, also marking it read also.

  • My iPhone 7 allow me not to respond to messages from the lock screen

New iPhone to MY wife 7 to respond to any text or iMessages of the lock screen. When you drag the message left it doesn't give the possibility to erase. I've played with many of the settings and even reset the phone. Any suggestions?

    Have you checked

  • How to get the box remove on the lock screen?

So I know how to respond to a text on the lock screen, but what I want to know is how to get that red box delete instead of the response box.

In the picture you can see that there's a reply box. How can I get the box remove red over there?

Press the "x" to remove the message from the lock screen. There is no way to 'delete' a message from the lock screen. Deleting messages can be done in the Messages application.

You can not. However, I'm not sure why you think it's a privacy or security threat. The only thing that can be accessed without unlocking the phone is the camera to take pictures. No one can access your data already on the phone.

  • How to turn on the lock screen without unlocking the iphone

Is it possible to light to the top of the lock screen by pressing the button home without her release and showing all your apps so that you have the fingerprint reader to unlock.  ex: I shoot my iphone from my pocket to check the time and the home button is easy to press quickly, but by pressing the home button, I have to unlock my iphone and it goes into my apps and so I have to press the locking button before putting it in my pocket.    I want to pull the phone out of my pocket and press the home button to turn on my phone and check the time on the lock screen and then put back in my pocket without him open.

If your to is a iphone 6s or 6s more and you have installed iOS 10. go to settings > > display & brightness and activate 'raising to Wake '.

once turned on, you don't even have to press the home button, once lift you the phone, the display lights up.

  • IPhone stuck on the lock screen

I've just updated to the latest version of iOS 9.3 beta software (I would check to see what it is exactly, but I can't really do this). This problem didn't occur until I installed this, and it only happened on my iPhone 6s, not my iPad Mini 3. Here is a brief summary of what's going on:

I turn on my phone using the power button. I try to hit to swipe to enter my access code. He stops and restarts.

I'm trying to use the contact IDS. He stops and restarts.

I try to put my password in by sliding upward to access the camera. He stops and restarts.

Everything I try to do, it crashes. I tried turning then turn it back on again, hold the "home" button and the Start button / stop, nothing works.

I was also in a situation where I needed to put my phone in airplane mode. I can't access the center of control from the lock screen to stop, but I turn WiFi and Bluetooth on until I turned off my phone. My watch says it's connected. My phone is done without WiFi.

Anyone has any suggestions, in addition to a trip to the Apple Store? Thank you!

Note: I was extremely stupid and didn't back up my phone. But to cut me some slack, I couldn't technically. The Mac I have is way outdated and does not support my current model of the iPhone, and my laptop running on Windows is not able to start. If just getting worse and worse, I have an old backup I could try to install, but I really want to take this path, because it was almost a year ago.

If you don't have any computer that supports supported a version of iTunes how do you have installed a beta version? Looks like you've totally corrupted the phone. All you can do is restore using a computer with Windows 7 or later version or iOS 10.8.5 or later and the latest version of iTunes.

  • Reminders do not display or stick to the lock screen in iOS10

IOS10 (10.0.1 and 10.0.2), on an iPhone (I use an iPhone 6), reminders are no longer reliable. I had several cases where the callback doesn't show even on the screen lock and many more times when the recall won't 'glue' to screen lock for more than a short period. Before iOS10, when you said to remind you at a certain time or place, the recall would display on the reliable lock screen until she has been marked as "completed".

It is a major issue for people who depend on the application for the important tasks and calendar. There is a thread of any discussion on this point, for some reason, has been marked as "solved" even if a large number of people continues to post telling him that there is a problem for them too (as the thread located here). I wanted to start this new discussion which we hope will remain open until it is effectively resolved.

Thank you!!! This is a HUGE problem!

Since the update I had to reboot my phone EVERY day.

Is the stick of reminders... or they do not. Lately they don't yet show upward. Then other things stick to the lock screen can't get rid of.

Currently this feature on the phone is USELESS

  • Impossible to go beyond the lock screen

My wife and I are unable to go beyond the lock screen today. It's an iphone 6s and 7 times iphone running iOS 10. At the same time happened when we returned in the evening. When we enter the password, the screen freezes / hangs. Then, a minute or so later, it looks like to reboot the phone or reboot UI. then return to the lock screen. This is crazy. I feel like we're pirated! What is happening to someone else? Two of us do not have access to our phones!

    Have you tried a reboot?

    Reset?

    Restore?

  • Cannot set the time on the lock screen in iOS 10

    I guess that's a stupid question, but that's.

I've just updated to iOS 10 days previously.

Previously, I had my iPhone value never expire and go to the lock screen. I prefer to leave the phone on until I'm ready to turn it off.

After the iOS upgrade, the screen starts to weaken after a minute or two and if I don't hit the button or other it turns itself off.

So I have to waste time, it opens by pressing the button Home, inputing my 4 digit code and have spent the necessary iCloud screen - I don't do iCloud.

Looks like that I used to go into the settings > passcode lock > and there was a framework for '' never. '' Placing it now longer available is 4 hours, which is what I now have it together, but it is still greys out and hangs and then after about 1 minute.

Is this a bug or I do something wrong?

The setting has been moved to iOS 10. He is now in settings/display and brightness.

  • ios10 - can not go beyond the lock screen

I'm updating my iPhone 5SE yesterday.  It is already planted on the lock screen 3 times requiring a reset, that is to say press power and home for 10 seconds.  I've owned iPhones for many years and has never had to use the front reset feature.

My contact ID is active, and most of the time when I press the home button the phone automatically unlocks as usual.  However on occasion, when I press the button to unlock the phone at home I am presented with the numeric keypad to enter my access code.  The phone does not respond after that, completely frozen until I do a reset.

Try to reset all settings. No data is affected, but all parameters will have to be entered again. These parameters include, passwords for WiFi and footprint digital/Touch ID put in place. You will have to start all over again with the settings, but it's less work than the restoration of the device.

Settings > general > reset > reset all settings.

  • Cannot turn off the "home automation" in the locked screen

    Steps to follow:

    1-> password settings

2 switches to find under "allow access when locked.

    3. try to disable 'Home Control' (drag to the left to make the white switch)

4 he jumps back and remains green (enabled)

5 another rocking function as expected.

    Version:

    14A 403 10.0.1

    iPhone 5 c A1526

Home.app is not implemented because it requires iCloud Keychain that is disabled.

I feel that you can not disable the lock screen Homekit. https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT204893

  • Access to the Notification Center on the lock screen

I'm sure it's really simple, but I can't find the answer.

I have an iPhone running iOS 10 6.  If the phone is unlocked I can slide down for Notifications and swipe left to direct access to Widgets.  It's all good.  However, since the lock screen I can swipe left for the camera, or the shot to the center of control, but striking to swipe to access Notifications and Widgets does nothing.

Is there a setting somewhere that I can't find? Or is it simply not available on the iPhone 6?

    Thank you

Found!  In case anyone else wants to know...

Settings > Touch ID and password (If logical - not!) > 'allow access when it is locked' down

  • Reminders collage is more the lock screen in iOS 10

I have a set daily reminder to remember to do something at the same time every day. In iOS 9, the recall would stick to the lock screen until I scored it's over. It was good, because he made sure I had done, even if it was a number of hours later. Now that I have updated to iOS 10, I noticed that the recall is declining since the lock screen as soon as I unlock and it does not return. Is there a setting I can change to make this change to the old way?

    Hi geektranzl8r,

It seems that your reminders are not visible on your screen once it reminds you of your tasks after upgrade to IOS 10. Maybe it's because some of the parameters that have changed the default upgrade. Try to set up notification of recalls. The links below can help you get your app to reminders and notifications of locking screen set up exactly how you like it!

Use the Notifications on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch

    Notifications on your lock screen

In iOS 10, you can interact with notifications on the lock screen to catch up on the news, answer messages and more without unlocking your device.
Here are a few ways in which you can view and interact with the lock screen notifications:
To view your lock screen, press the Home button or the sleep/wake. If you have an iPhone 6s or later, pick up your device to see the lock screen.
To respond to a notification, by sweeping left on it, and then tap answer. If you have an iPhone 6s or later, use can use Touch 3D. Just press the notification deeply, then answer.
To open the application to answer, drag right on the notification.

Use reminders on your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch

These measures should do the trick. Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. Enjoy iOS 10.
    Good day.

  • Update to iOS 10.0.1 iPhone is, double click on the home screen no longer shows apple pay

Update to iOS 10.0.1 on an iPhone is, double click on the button home on the lock display screen is no longer apple pay.

I tried the reboot, hard reboot. Switching allow home button and reboot, hard reboot. Deleting and adding to my credit card. Pretty much everything I can think of.

    Hello

The double-click feature applies from the lock screen, not the home screen.

To check that it is always enabled, go to: settings > portfolio & Apple pay > check that double click on the home page button is enabled.
