I am unable to do a repair, re - install my original disc.

I get an error that says that I am trying to install a version that is older than what is already installed? It's the same disc? Help

Your drive is probably a version of Service Pack 1 (SP1) pre and now you have installed SP1.

Download the appropriate version of the. ISO file listed below and ImageBurn to create a new disk.

  • The time machine shaped my result of ssd unable to check my key when installing windows?

    Brief summary:

My machine: Macbook pro mid 2012
What I have: Samsung Evo SSD, optical Bay caddy, 8.1 windows bootable dvd with serial
I wanted to do: install windows in my second internal SSD (optical Bay)
What went wrong: Enter key I get: "we could not verify the product key. Please check your installation media. »

I suspect that the problem is: I have formatted by mistake the SSD mac front.

Question: Has been put in shape my SSD the cause of the problem? and if yes how can I do to reset?

    Detailed long version

I have a macbook mid 2012 retina not pro that I wanted to have the option to be able to boot from a windows and a mac. As a result, I bought a samsung EVO solid state drive for this purpose. I decided to try the drive and put it in instead of the optical drive caddy the day I got it. I was invited with the message that the mac was unable to acknowledge it and follow a few steps online to format. I would find it later when we look at a forum that I should have left the unformatted SSD. However, I tried to install windows on the EVO by placing the optical drive in the computer, put the EVO in the main Bay. I put the windows cd in and followed the installation. Everything was good until I had to put in the windows key. I put in and received the message "we could not verify the product key. Please check your installation media. "I double checked to see if it was right by voluntarily entering a wrong key he gave me a message that the key was invalid. Snooping around, I tried to reset the drive by using the offer of advanced tools and I was told that windows did not have access to the partition or something of the sort.

A format the drive of the source of the error and if so is it possible to return to the factory settings?

All the advice/help is greatly appreciated! Thank you very much!

The formatting SSD is not related to the issue with the product key. Windows Setup reformats the SSD in the main Bay NTFS still. If the SSD is less than 2 TB, you can format the MBR with attempts as well as FAT32 format.

Your model is compatible with the installation from DVD and USB, both. You can also download the ISO of Microsoft W8.1 to the https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows8ISO to ensure that your DVD is not a several bits (32-bit and 64-bit DVD).

Sorry for the delay, long day away.

With this many cross-browser issues, can you confirm that your system clock date, time, and time zone are all correct? SSL validity checks are time sensitive.

If you see a globe, I think that you are unable to use an HTTPS address. Usually Firefox displays a padlock or a "!" icon in the shape of triangle on a HTTPS address depending on whether the certificate withdraws or has a problem.

Is there a code in parentheses, separated by underscores in the error page? If so, could you copy and paste this code.

  • Unable to access several sites and install apps in the appstore. A possible malware issue. What should I do?

    Hey guys,.

I am using a 8 GB Mac Mini with an i5 processor clocked at 2.6 GHz Mac OSX Yosemite 10.10.5 (14F27).

I don't have problems with this until I visited a torrent site (I hate invited but unfortunately I did this time). Since that unfortunate activity, I get mackeeper pop ups and my search engines by default on all my browsers like Safari, Firefox and chrome automatically replaced by trovi. I can't access to 90% of websites like YouTube except facebook, twitter, Netflix, gmail, google, yahoo and other email clients. I get a "cannot connect" on firefox and messages error 'Safari cannot connect to the server. I checked with the ISP settings and proxy but no problem there as my other devices such as the ipad and the iphone apple work fine on the same wifi network. I erased all the extensions, cookies and cache but without success.

I am also unable to access the app store to install applications. I wanted to make its own memory and a removal of the malware, but couldn't that since the appstore could not contact the server.

I mainly use this machine for audio production and browsing through Logic Pro X.

What is a malware problem? If so, how to fight that? Should I format my HD and upgrade to El Capitan? Who will solve the problem?

[I am slot as Windows 7 Ultimate (free upgrade to Dell PC w/purchase) on a Dell 64 bit PC XPS435]
I've upgraded from Vista about 3 weeks ago.

#1 - Two weeks ago I had a problem with the installation of Nero/LiquidTV-TiVo to my PC... (this is also when the problem started).
To get the "Nero" thing figured out, I took the advice of someone on the Forum/Blog of Nero. The person has provided a lenghty explanation how to uninstall LiquidTV completely by removing the registry files... I don't really know what I'm doing in the registry, but everything that I helped my problem of Nero, but I couldn't tell you WHAT I deleted OR if I have deleted any bad subfolders or whatnot!... the next time I started my PC is when the NEW NUMBER is right.

#2 - On my next BOOT, Windows Update has found an IMPORTANT update:

A security update for Microsoft XML Core Services 4.0 Service Pack 2 for x 64 systems (KB954430)

.. .and it fails every time, it tries to install saying this:

    Windows Update - failed

Code 643 Windows Update encountered an unknown error.

"Get help with this error" provides little or no help... but it says this:
     "WindowsUpdate_00000643" "WindowsUpdate_dt000"

All the research I did, the problem seems to be with Microsoft .NET Framework... .and all the solutions I found talking about it, "UNINSTALL all THE .NET FRAMEWORK & REINSTALL" ... I tried and there is no .NET Frameworks listed in Add/Remove, and when I press on ' VIEW INSTALLED UPDATES'... " on my PC it says, "no updates are installed on this computer"... what the _____?

#3 - Today, I thought I would just pop the WINDOWS 7 installation disc and do a repair/upgrade... It will not be upgraded.
He cycles most of the way through, then he Has STOPPED and says this:

The following problems prevent upgrade Windows. Cancel the upgrade, perform each task, (it lists only a SINGLE task), and then restart the upgrade to continue.

    • Windows needs to be restarted if necessary to system files can be changed before you continue.

Does not help restart. He tried 3 times and he ends up doing the same thing.
Is it possible I deleted something out of the register so far here and which is cause of all this?
If so, is it possible to fix WITHOUT doing a new install of Windows 7?
OR... anything can be a problem... Please HELP!

(And please note: I am a first year student college with specialization in computer science... but I just started last semester, so I don't know what I should... yet. - though, I SHOULD have known better than to mess with the registry!) My bad).

Thanks a lot for your time in advance, and I look forward to hear from you!  VikeMike4

  • Is the repair for the same WIndows7 disc for the PC?

the ERD for WIndows7 Home Premium is only about 300 MB, assuming that comes with Windows7 backup utilities. With 300 MB, there may be a large part of the OS with a value of software licenses, i.e. licensed OS software should assume in the separate image to be saved on a hard drive.

The content of the ERD are specific to my PC or the same for every PC? If the disk is fixed then Microsoft provide a downloadable copy for free?

HP also provides its own utility to create a disk repair and image. What are the differences? HP provides a downloadable repair disk for free?

    Hello

Windows recovery disc - these will be unique to your laptop and allows you to reinstall the whole operating system and bundled software.  There is no option available for this download, and under the terms of the OEM license, you can create only one set of these discs - for more details, see here.

Windows 7 repair disc - it is generic and will be the same no matter what Windows 7 PC, you create, the only difference is either 32-bit and 64-bit.  We can consider a good guide on what this drive is to here.  The most important difference between the recovery disks and a hot spare is only recovery disks will allow you to reinstall the operating system, it is important to create these.

As far as I know, there isn't a picture of rescue disc available for download from Microsoft or HP - but if you have already created a repair disc, most of the CD/DVD software burning allows you to create an Image file (.) ISO) disc.  For example, if you have used ImgBurn, there is a guide here.

You probably already have the software to create a disk image that was provided with your PC.

  • cannot start or repair or install vista more

Because I can't see my post this morning, I'm him asking again:

The machine comes with windows XP 64.
Later I upgraded to Vista 64 Ultimate.
Then I bought another HD and installed vista on the second HD.
Then I installed another operating system on the first hard drive, assuming that I would be able to use the boadloader to start the installation of windows on the second HD.
    This was not the case!
Then, I changed the HDs without result.
Then I tried to repair the windows installation - is not possible.
Then I tried to reinstall windows - impossible - something has been said, can I just install this on a hard drive running a copy genuine windows
-I guess this is due to my copy of windows is an upgrade.
How can I solve this mess?

    Hello

First, before installing the upgrade to Vista, you must have a qualifying version of Windows XP installed first.  Second, you need to keep in mind if you try to install this twice, you will need two separate product keys to activate.
