  Hello! I think that I may have a solution to our problem of the black screen with the circle of rotation.

  I came across this post today because my iPhone all nine 7 (which I've upgraded to the latest ios) also got stuck on a black screen with the circle of rotation.   The steps below are for those whose iPhones did not turn with the above steps. The following steps are designed to allow you to disable remote your 'find my iPhone', so you can do a manual restore from iTunes.

  4. go to www.icloud.com.

  5. click on Find iPhone
