  I've just been setting up my app details in iTunes and it only gives you the ability to upload screenshots of 4-inch retina, retina of 3.5 inches and iPad. Is that mean that if I submit an iPhone non-retine app (built in 480px x 320px), it will be rejected?

  Retina iphone apps will still work on older ones, non-retine iphones? If so, you would say I just create my application in the retina of 960px x 640px resolution?

  Only a record of 480 x 360 will appear on an iPhone 3 g. The folio of retina will appear not on the 3GS in the same way that a HD 2048 folio does not appear on an iPad to SD.

  Check the dimensions of the iPod Touch. The 3rd generation iPod is 480 x 360 (like the iPhone 3GS). The 4th generation iPod is 960 x 640 HD (like the iPhone 4S). The 5th gen iPod is 1136 x 640 HD (like the iPhone 5).

• iPhone Folios not Visible

  I created a version of dev in the generator of Viewer for iPhone and iPad.  The iPad version shows very well, but the iPhone versions do not see any content.  I thought that I could have used the wrong credentials in Report Builder, but the iPad version works fine.

  When I use the Adobe Viewer on different iPhones, the content is there.

  I published, updated, the value of public, private and even non protected content and still nothing if it is displayed.  Witts end.  Any ideas?

  Right now, I see a unique folio for the account that owns this productID. It is at 1024 x 768. Are you sure all the sheets are marked Public? It seems that this one is marked free/Public, but I can't account for others who are not visible in the response of the distribution service.

  To check the current state of the folios in your account, hover over the name of the folio in the view "All the Folios" from the producer of Folio. We had a problem where the charged state of the document is out of step with what is reflected on the server (a fix is forthcoming in our next release), so to be sure 100%, update the folios in question to Public status.

  I have a question I wonder if the community has no clarification.

  Let me set you up. I use the DPS App Builder, choose to build for iPad, the next screen asks (among others) my Folio exported. I got it my retina 1536 x 2048 Folio exported by the producer of Folio and everything's fine.

  My question is that I also have an interpretation of this Folio in 768 x 1024. How can I add that in if the App Builder packages it as well?

  Bonus question, how different the question above between app unique Folio (Stand alone) and multi-Folio (library) app?

  Multi-questions applications incorporate no Folio format, so there is no user interface in App Builder for specifying one. All sheets are stored on the server. • rendition iPad Folio published but not listed is not in the library of the app

  I created a folio for iPad (1024 x 768) and a folio for iPhone (1163 x 640) and published "renditions" (same folio name, publication name, folio number and product ID). I have published these direct and free. I see them both as "renditions" when I connect to my account on Adobe Content Viewer on the iphone and ipad, but the rendering of the iPad does not appear in the library of the live application. The iPhone folio appeared successfully in the library of live app on my iphone 6, but my colleague downloaded th same application on his iphone 6 and its not appearing in his. I have updated their a few times, but no change. Any suggestions welcome, thank you for your time!

  I solved this! The problem was that the ID of the product is identical to an another folio in the account. The product of a set of "renditions" ID must be the same, but it must be different from all other folios in the account.

  If you delete the current version in DPS App Builder, it has no effect on the live application. I recommend that you do not delete the only iPad app until after you create the iPad + iPhone app. In this way, you can always consult the old settings. When you build a new version of the application in the App Builder, just make sure that you use the same mobile available files (specifically, files of mobile provision based on the same AppID).

  You will also need to create and publish specific iPhone folios. folios iPad don't appear on iPhones and iPhones do they not appear on iPads.

  You must create a new instance of the DPS App Builder application. Select iPhone and iPad. If you use the same mobileprovision files (or mobile layout updated of the files of the bases on the same ID App), it is considered that a version update of the application itself.

  To tie together the leaflets as "renditions" that fully support social sharing, name of slip values must be the same, and the Article name values must be the same in the iPhone and iPad to folios. Looks like you are using another name of Folio for iPad and iPhone folios, so sharing section of the iPhone will not work. I would consider changing the title of the Publication or the issue number to distinguish the different platforms in analytics.

  I'm new to DPS - has been a steep learning curve!

  Wanted to ask advice on best practices to create folios for multiple devices. All my Google search told me HOW I "could" do it... but no best practice articles.

  So, I converted a magazine in a folio iPad (1024 x 768) and his great work on the ipad (with the exception of the Youtube bug iOS8) - but asked me to make it work on an iPhone (as a backup).

  So my question was: I do (or is there a way) to just say the folio iPad version wide to fit on the screen of the iPhone (the letters/pillar box) or I have to create a 2nd layout for each acticle? OR... create an altogether separate version?

  1024 x 768 folios appear not on iPhones. You must create a 480 x 320, 960 x 640 or 1136 x 640 for the folio appears on the iPhone. The viewer of the iPhone evolves upwards but not downwards, so the folio of 960 x 640 will appear not on an iPhone 3 g and a folio 1136 x 640 will appear not on an iPhone 4S. One option is to create a set of folio renditions, such as 480 x 320 and 11360 x 640, to account for all the features of the iPhone. Search for "dps refunds" for info.

  Regarding the creation of iPhone iPad source files source files, your best bet is to create page layouts in InDesign. There are a number of different approaches you can take, but I like Center or content globally and rebuild the design on the alternative plan. If it's a HTML source file, just create a new folio which is a iPhone files and import HTML items.

  Note that "renditions" must have the same name of Folio product ID & Publication Date, only changes to the actual resolution (size).

  I have v32 of DPS (built on September 24, 2014) and successfully submitted to the app store, but for some reason some are not our folio on iPhone price, but they show well on iPad.  Everyone knows the same problem?  I am still able to buy the issue, but the price is displayed to the user when he or she clicks on buy (on the iPhone that is).

  Any ideas?

  Did you build your application with the last Builder App? We had a problem like that, but it has been addressed in the latest update.

  I am redoing to include the iPhone.

  I have configured the folios in 1024 and the HD version for iPad, it seems ok. I tend to make assets rasterised at 50% so they look ok upward.

  Should what resolution I use for the iPhone? If I understand correctly, I'll need to do the "renditions" - two, to take into account the proportions different (3:2 and 16:9). Unlike the iPad, I'm better artworking for iPhone 6 more size and down (Alt layouts), or could I work at 5 and use a similar method to make them clear for 6 and 6 +? He will pick up the res 6 5s and 6 +?

  The viewer of the iPhone has no support even for an iPhone 6 / 6 + return. You should design for the iPhone 5, indications that we have, is that iPhone 5 content seems perfectly fine on the iPhone 6 without change.
