IPhone has fallen in the water!

How to recover the content after having dropped the iPhone 6 in water?

I already skipped as much as possible, but it does not at all

If it has not been saved, your data is gone. Unless a miracle happens and you can get it to turn on and work long enough to save, there is no way to recover the contents of the phone.

  • iPhone 6s thrown into the water now get no service?

    Hello

I have an iPhone 6s I dropped in my sink Fortunately it still works (lights etc) because she was only in it for no more than 20 seconds!

So it works but the only problem is, is that im getting no service, even though I had full signal before it was submerged I tried taking the SIM out, leaving the phone to dry overnight, then I put my sim card, I started it and he remained at say no sim and after a few minutes It says no service? :

Water and electronics don't go well together. Even if the iPhone can still turn it on, the water probably and most likely caused one short-circuit somewhere else in the electronics and is causing problems with the cellular antenna. Its probably shorted out.

Other it has an Apple Store for warranty replacement output, there is not much to do.

  • How to fix an iPhone those damaged by the water-6?

Ok. So, yesterday, I spilled perhaps 1/10 of a bottle of water on my phone. I skipped and it worked just perfectly. Then I noticed minor condensation on my camera lens. So, I waited for it to go, and he made himself disappear. Now, almost 5 hours later, iPhone works almost perfectly. I went to sleep with my phone works fine, but my contact ID and the volume Up button did not work well. I woke up and my phone is glitching. I turned twice, and I realized that it was a shame. So, I just wanted to comment that after any spill some water, it still worked perfectly well for about 5 hours and all of a sudden would not turn back. Thanks for any help!

When it comes to electronics, there is no such thing as "minor water damage. It's like saying that someone is "a little bit pregnant."

  • MacBook Air has fallen down the stairs and hit a wall

I got my backpack open with my macbook to the inside and I was dragging down the stairs, not noticing that the Backpack was opened and at halfway down the stairs (about 3 steps down, carpet stairs), my macbook slipped on the backpack and fell down the stairs hit a wall.

I rushed to my macbook, there was only a dent on the side but nothing major, I turned it on and everything is quite normal, login screen is correct...

Everything seems fine, I just want to know if I need to check for any serious damage, may be for Apple... etc.

I had great fear, I had dropped my macbook on carpet floor about 2 or 3 times, he fell on the wooden floor, there was no serious damage, there are a few bumps on the side, but nothing super serious.

And once again; Everything seems fine, I just want to know if I need to check for any serious damage, may be for Apple... etc.

If it was my computer, I certainly will consider to Apple.  Let them watch over and advise you how to proceed.

I hope you have a good backup!

  • IPod classic has fallen and now ask restore

Long story short, my ipod has fallen on the ground and immediately after that he was asked to restore through itunes. I connected it to my computer and itunes crashes completely and ask the screen of the ipod do not disconnect (as well) - I own an ipod classic 7th generation 160 GB I do not know if it's the hard drive makes or even battery issues to deal, but if anyone knows if I am able to do repair a large help - thanks

Since this happened after a fall, it is more likely to be a problem with the hard drive.  Try to put the iPod in Disk Mode

Put the iPod in disk - Apple Support Mode

Then plug it into your computer running iTunes.  If iTunes picks it up, he may ask you to do a restore with a message on the "recovery."  Let the restoreiTunes.

If the iPod does not go in drive Mode, or the restore fails, the hard disk of the iPod is likely to be defective.

  • I dropped my iphone 4s in the water, but it still works?

I actually dropped my phone in the water before, but it worked fine afterwards, despite the fact that I have did nothing. I went in the bathroom again today and it seemed to work very well and I don't think anything of it. All sounds have worked, the screen and the brightness seemed fine, and all the buttons work. My wifi worked not briefly, but the wifi in my house is a little wobbly and I turned it works and it was fine. I used it for more than two hours later and it was fine, until I noticed water under the screen. I immediately looked up what I must do, turned my phone off, took out the sim card and began painstakingly dry with a hair dryer (I don't have any rice or silica gel), paying special attention to the battery, but also an opening in the phone. The hair dryer was weak, I kept it at a distance, and I followed it constantly for that phone don't fire no. I skipped, it regularly for about 20-30 minutes, turned to the monitor, and the brand of water has been growing (its in the half top of the screen) and it seems to have disappeared, but I wonder if the water could simply scattered. I have it turn on and off several times and it always seems fine.

I need to know if you think that the phone will survive. Also, I can't afford a new phone or to get it fixed now, so if you have advice that can be performed by an amateur at home, then I'd love to hear them. Thank you.

I think that your phone will probably survive if you used a hair dryer on low, do at least 1 iCloud backup every week, but if you get a new phone, I'm sorry.

  • When is it safe to charge or backup an iPhone 6 after it was plunged into the water?

When is it safe to try to load or save an iPhone 6 that fell in the water? It shows that he needs a load when you press the power button.

You should not try to turn it on or charge it for a week or two.

If it's on, or you have enabled, then the damage is done and it probably doesn't matter now.

  • I dropped my phone in the water and now he has red lines?

I got out of the car and my phone fell and was placed on the concrete and then slid into the gutter where there was running water. I put it in the rice as soon as I got home and it was there for about 14 hours. I also put in charge while he was in the rice. It turned on for awhile, but now whenever I have try and turn it on a big red line appears in the middle of the screen with the little ones on each side and a bruise on the left side. Is the red and blue lines because I dropped it on concrete or because there is water in it.

  • Why my iPhone has a capacity lower than my iPad when they have the same amount of storage?

Why my iPhone has less capacity (storage wise) than my iPad when they both have the same amount of storage?  My pictures takes up to 7.2 GB on my iPhone with only 700 pictures & my iPad takes up to 4.0 GB with more than 1,000?

Check the settings of your devices to the settings > Photos & camera > iCloud photo library > do you both value library optimized? If NOT, this is your answer. If YES, then the size of the local library is adjusted based how much space you have, if you change or display more than full resolution images on a device, than another, on what device the photos were taken, etc.

    Welcome to the Apple community.

You need to disconnect your old ID in System Preferences > iCloud > sign out and then sign in with your new code.

You will also need to do this for iTunes, App Store, Messages, FaceTime, and books.

To change your sharing settings go to iTunes > file > Colocation.
