iPhone IS appears in iTunes

I just bought a new iPhone SE (in the United Kingdom) and the software to update iTunes on my Mac it does not display as a device. I have an iPhone 5, iPad 2 Mini (5 months) and an older iPad mini - iTunes displays as devices without any problem. When I connect the iPhone SE I get a message saying that the iTunes phone software must be updated, but how can I do that when I have to update iTunes? I've never had this kind of message before - brand new then, how is its iTunes to update software? I even went on the App store on the phone to get an update, but there is nothing there.

I checked the Apple support pages and this is the last solution is to disable all third party security software, but I did not.

It's really irritating, like all the rest has been implemented on the phone without any problem but I can't download the music on it. I'm going on vacation and wanted to transfer my playlists on the new phone but will have to do this on the iPhone 5 and carry two phones autour. Not good.

You don't need iTunes to update the iPhone. It can be done via a Wi - Fi network if it works for you.

On your iPhone, tap Settings > general > software update

Otherwise, see: "If you use a Mac" in this support article > If iTunes recognizes your iPad, iPhone or iPod - Apple supported

  • Why is my iPhone not appearing in iTunes app?

    Hello

I created a new iPhone app that has just been released on iTunes, but it does not appear when I search for it on my iPhone. I created the same DPS app for iPad which was published and not displayed. I'm sure it's just a simple problem but I don't know how to fix it. Any help?

The app is called Volvo CE Spirit Magazine.

    TIA

    Jennifer

The app is now appear. Apparently, he was just more time!

  • Air of songs deleted on iphone are not appearing in itunes.

Woman air dropped an album in my iPhone, then I added some of the new songs to an existing selection.  Whenever I have sync the phone to my PC, the songs are deleted from the playlist and does not appear in iTunes.  The songs are still in the generic song list on the iPhone.

    Help, please.

The songs were purchased with different IDS from Apple? If so, that's why.

  • Music tracks/songs appear on iTunes, but will play not (iPhone)

Here's my problem: occasionally, the songs on my iPhone 5s appear (as they should) but will not play.

For example, I recently bought the new album AWOLNATION.  For a few weeks, the album would end - play until recently when do not play 2 tracks (while still appearing on my iPhone in iTunes).  You click on the song, and then it passes just to the next song.  Because the tracks appear, but just will not play - I'm not sure that they are "removed", but for some reason just iTunes will not play them.  Whenever I have "Difficulty", a song, another song ends by does not.  One thing to note, playing the same song on my iTunes on my PC (where I sync my music of), they work very well - which tells me he is not a corrupt file, just something to do with the iPhone iTunes.

Another iPhone user has experienced a similar problem here 3 years ago! : some of my songs will not play! (but provided resolutions provide no durable solutions).  For me, it's a relatively recent problem - probably began a few months ago (at least that I noticed).

    Facts:

-It does not appear to matter what format the song is - lately I've noticed with the securities purchased, but it's just because I didn't buy many CDs lately.

-My iPhone, iTunes and my PC iTunes are perfectly up-to-date.

-My iTunes library on my phone has more than 4000 titles (combination of purchased and ripped from my CDs)

    What I tried:

-Removal of the track, the phone is off and re - download solves the problem for this piece. However, the question continues to be repeated with different tracks.

-Synchronize the phone with no music (to remove them all) and re-sync them all back on.  (After having done that, I found many more tracks that appeared, but would not play.)  Moreover, even if it were the solution - I would be quite disappointed spending 3 + hours a week or so just re - sync my music!)

-Syncing the phone (there is nothing in itself - iTunes I guess see no problem with missing titles, so does not re - add the).

Thanks in advance for any advice or comments on the issue.

If no solution can be found, does anyone know how to make iTunes music on a non-Apple product? (My contract is next week, and I'm willing to change if need be - music on my cell phone is much more important than the brand loyalty).

Quick update: I can now confirm that this issue effects purchased iTunes music and ripped from CDs.  I use iTunes to rip music.

Thanks again for anyone with suggestions on how to solve this problem!

  • New iPhone will not appear in iTunes, but old will

Only, I went to verizon and purchased the iPhone 6 s. I have the iPhone 5 s. I created a backup of 5s on my computer in iTunes (the latest version). I restored the iPhone 6 s at startup screen. Whenever I get to the screen saying connect to iTunes to restore the backup, nothing happens. The iPhone will appear in the post. I have uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes. Both phones are updated to the latest software. I noticed that the apple mobile hub is not displayed in the devices (Apple Mobile Device USB Driver), but the apple mobile program is installed. Uninstalling and reinstalling itunes was supposed to solve this problem, but didn't. The computer had some updates, but nothing to really what appeared to be related. Any help would be great! I'll try to go to the Apple store to transfer my phones data because it is too big for icloud, but I'll need later so that it can connect to iTunes. It is very odd that the 5s will connect and show, backup, etc in iTunes, but the 6s won't. I have windows 64xbit 10.

I tried to restart the computer, phone, etc.. I also tried to restart the apple mobile software and restarting. I also checked that there are only 3 associated devices, so it is not the limit of 10. Nothing appears in iTunes when I plug the phone in. even not an error message. Also whenever the phone is put in place and I plug it into the computer it asks only if I have will allow computer access the content on phones, but I don't get the message of "confidence".

He fixed it. The phone is now restore.

  • Updated iTunes and iOS and iPad Air no longer appears in iTunes

Just updated iTunes and my iPad air no longer appears in iTunes.  Update of iOS on iPad and no change. iPad appears in information system as a USB device connected. Ideas?

FWIW, my iPhone updated 6 Sy - the problem is only with my iPad Air

  • Why not the new iPhone 6 connect to iTunes? It says I need to download the latest version of iTunes, but my version is the latest. 12.4.3.1

I've updated iPhone 9.3.3 and iTunes for 12.4.3.1; both the latest versions

But iTunes does not recognize my iPhone, why?

Where you say that you need to download the latest version of iTunes? What is a ToolTip that appears in iTunes when you connect iPhone to your computer? Because if this is the case, iTunes detects your iPhone. So where is the problem? It won't let you not sync to iTunes? It won't let you save with iTunes?

  • iPod Classic does not appear in iTunes

My macbook release 10.9.5. iTunes (version 12.1) does not recognize my iPod classic Model # MB147LL version 1.2.2PC. I tried to reboot, reset, update, but it will not recognize to sync the iPod. My computer recognizes the iPod but not iTunes.

The latest version of iTunes (12.5.1) should work on OS X 10.9.5.  Is there a reason that you are using an older version of iTunes.  A classic iPod should work with even older versions of iTunes, but there may be a problem with the specific version you have (fixed in a later version).

If update does not help (or if you don't want to update iTunes), given that the iPod is recognized by the system, it seems to have a data connection.  Try to put the iPod in Disk Mode.

How to put your iPod in disc - Apple Support mode

Before you connect iPod, stop (power off) MacBook and disconnect all the USB devices.  Plug the MacBook power adapter (so it does not work on battery).  Startup MacBook, launch iTunes and connect the iPod (in disc Mode) on a USB direct on MacBook, by himself.

If he picks up iTunes, it should invite you to do a restore with a message on the "recovery."  This erases the iPod, so if you're OK with that (because the content of the iPod is in your iTunes library), do the restore.  If all goes well, the iPod appears in iTunes (normally) after the restoration.

  • iPhone App-Sync with iTunes problem

Today, I downloaded a new iPhone App in

    iTunes [12.4.3.1]

    on a Macbook Pro [10.11.6]

who has several granted previously iPhone Apps, all updated and everything already works on my iPhone 5 [9.3.5] (Firmware 10.01.00).

Recently, via USB, attempts to sync-ing my iPhone work, however, the iPhone settings / window Apps in iTunes is completely gray, including "checked for the installation of new applications" just below the list of applications.

Download of news today is sitting there in the list with its play button "install", and with everything else, is not interactive. "

After reading a full restore of the iPhone has worked for others, I restored the iPhone with iTunes by selecting the option traded using my "iPhone name.

Now, all applications are absent from the iPhone and is not able to be loaded as they all remain still grayed out in iTunes under the iPhone settings / (summary, Apps, music / etc).

However, as it was previously, I'm still able to select manually in the music , the books and pictures, etc., and have such precisely Sync-ed with the iPhone currently.

How an update iTunes and OSX are incompatible for Sync-ing updated iPhone apps to iPhone updated via USB?

Did you use the same Apple ID to purchase each of your applications, books and music?

  • Home videos do not appear in iTunes

    Hello

I can add some videos to iTunes by dragging them in the window of iTunes, but iTunes takes the name of the original file (converted pre), not that I changed to.  I then tried dragging them using Finder to my folder of root in the Home video in iTunes folder, this keeps the new file name, but I can't get the videos then appear in iTunes!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, i've got loads to bring.

    Thank you

iTunes reads the built-in metadata, including the original name, rather than the file name. After importing, you can change these data. iTunes does not detect the content that you add manually in the media folder, you must add it to the library too.
