iPhone Mail Spam/Outlook 2007

My problem:

A few days earlier, I was on a trip and intended to mark a bunch of emails in red, but accidentally them marked as spam. Now, I get all my mail sorted spam through my iPhone and the Office Outlook 2007 client.

In case of problems I took action:

  • I called and worked with people of our fine electronic mail and there is no being located on the side spam filter server.
  • I deleted all the rules of junk e-mail in Outlook 2007
  • I disabled the antivirus e-mail protection
  • I did all the contacts in the contacts allowed with exemptions

At this point, I am at a loss and looking for help.

Any suggestions would be very appreciated.

at least, on the client - there is an option for 'Not junk' If you select an e-mail in the Junk folder or spam-

Also there may be a place t get back on the server of the provider (for example mail.yahoo, com to Yahoo! mail) messaging

    Hi Tony,.

You can always open Windows mail? In this case: the open, select the e-mail messages you want to copy, create a folder on a USB or other portable device, paste messages, transport the unit, open, select all the messages and copy it (ctrl + c), then paste in Outlook.

The official way would be: file, import and Export Wizard. But I'm sure you will all future posts.

  • are the same instructions for the migration of outlook 2003 data as they are in your instructions for outlook 2007

The site gives instructions for mobile information e-mail from Outlook 2007 to Thunderbird, are these instructions applicable to Outlook 2003? In other words the instructions will work on Outlook 2003, that I have, or are there different instructions to move the contents of Outlook 2003 to Thunderbird?

All versions of Outlook import in Thunderbird the same way.

They need for Outlook must be installed and only the PST files in the default outlook defined and loaded in Outlook will be imported.

  • Outlook 2007 is limitation of message size, although there is no restriction of message on the Exchange 2003 server.

When one of my users trying to reach a 50 MB file to an e-mail message, Outlook 2007 immediately appears with the following message: the attachment size exceeds the allowable limit.  The user is not even allowed to attach the file such as Outlook it immediately blocked.  We have a 10 MB limit for messages that leave the organization.  This user has attempted to send the file to another Member of our Organization. In Outlook 2003, we are able to send 50 MB files to another without problem. Does anyone have any suggestions? I wonder if there is a setting in Outlook 07 which limits the size of an attachment. The confusing part is that he was not yet able to attach the file.

    Thank you!

    Hello

1 you need to set the maxRequestLength value in the web.config file to a value greater than 50 MB. The maxRequestLength value in the web.config file is a parameter ASP.NET prevents applications greater than a certain length that has been added to prevent DOS attacks. He is set to 30 MB by default and must be increased in order to send attachments more than 30 MB. This could also be declined to enforce a lower limit.

    2. you need to increase the MaxSubmitMessageSize which is a property of the mailbox of readonly (MaxSubmitMessageSize = 0x666D0003) and this is where we reach the limit of 10 MB.

It is read from the following locations:

    1. First reading of the object the user mailbox
    2. If not found as indicated by "unlimited", Transport Settings Container
    3. If not found as indicated by "unlimited", Org (read default Org container) container

To set the value, use the following tasks in the Exchange Management Shell:

1 set-transportconfig MaxSendSize (this is KBS) and then assign 51200 for 50 MB attachments. This will put it to all users

    Or

2 set-mailbox and set the MaxSendSize (this is KBS) to 51 200 for attachments of 50 MB forspecific to a set of users.

Once you set or the other, you must recycle store or not access to the mailbox for 15-20 minutes (to allow to store the cache expire) so that the change in size to have effect. In addition, the property is stored in AD and submitted to replication delays.

One last thing that you should be aware of (sorry, the list will just):

We have a timeout of 60 minutes for any attachment request or download attachment query (in OWA basic and Premium). So if you try to download an attachment 50 MB on a 56 Kbps connection, you will then expire and get a HttpWebException (e.g., the max upload is about 25 MB on a 56 Kbps connection).

So, to sum up, there are two keys to send a large attachment:

    1 ASP.NET change web.config settings.

2 modify the MaxSendSize using the set-TransportConfig (for all users) or Set-Mailbox for individual users.

    And you must

3 ensure that the total download time will be less than 60 minutes (depending on your size and the speed of your network link)

The web.config change is immediate, but the MaxSendSize change takes time, because of the caching strategy (the letter box, DSAccess deadlines and delays in replication cache).

    Examples:

    Changes to Web.Config

By default, web.config under OWA virtual directory (Microsoft\Exchange Server\ClientAccess\Owa) will have the following entry (by default, the maximum request size is about 30 MB):

    ....

Change to where X is the value you want in KBs. 50 MB, X will be of approximately50000

Change the size limit of messages by user

Go in the Exchange Management Shell and type the following command:

    Set-mailbox - id: "username" - MaxSendSize:50000

Where "username" is the identity of the mailbox. This will set the limit to send message to about 50 MB. You need to restart the store to see the effect immediately.

Change the size limit for messages of all users

Go in the Exchange Management Shell and type the following command:

    -Set-transportconfig MaxSendSize: 50000

This will set the limit to send message to about 50 MB. You need to restart the store to see the effect immediately.

    Hello

May I ask why you post this question here in the forum of Toshiba and don t ask for the support of Microsoft?
Toshiba has nothing to do with the settings in Microsoft Outlook and in my opinion it s recommended asking Microsoft service for assistance.

I found this solution Outlook 2007 on page MS Center:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/ph/11335/

But maybe it s not your wrong setting but the 3rd person answering your mails doesn't send the message to your original content.

  • Importer e-mail and addresses from Windows Mail in windows.old to Outlook 2007 in the new Windows 7

Installed Windows 7 on a laptop last night.
Old system: Vista & Windows Mail
    New system: Windows 7 Ultimate (64) & Outlook 2007

Prior to installation, we have saved copies of records of e-mail and address books for the two users on a disk partition.  These same files are also still available in windows.old.

Import in Outlook 2007 feature, I cannot select a directory where the old files/email address. He just made a kind of research and can't find anything.
I wish that prospects to find them and convert a PST file but can't seem to make it work. I tied each combination in the functionality of Outlook 'import' and even tried to drag the old emails in the outlook Inbox (just create a new email with the .eml attachment file)

What should I install Windows mail, that he could recognize the old addresses / and then inport to Outlook?  Maybe then Outlook will look for them in their actual location?

    A little frustrated...

How did your question related to Windows Update, Al?

You cannot import data from Windows Mail directly in Outlook. See...

How TO migrate [Windows mail] Outlook (when you have only the message store files)
       http://www.HOWTO-Outlook.com/HOWTO/migratefromoewlm.htm#FILES_ONLY

In your case, you must first download/install Windows LIVE Mail and then import data from Windows Mail in this e-mail client. After that, you can EXPORT data from Windows LIVE Mail to Outlook (compared to import the data into Outlook).

Yes, this is all very confusing. Adding to the confusion:

    1. you must set Windows LIVE Mail as your default for mail in CUSTOM (<>) item Set Program Access and computer by default in Win7 before any function send to or MailTo will become available.

    2. you will find general support for all e-mail Win7 Clients in this forum: http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7network/threads

    3. you will find support for Windows Live Mail in this public newsgroup:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/list/en-us/default.aspx?DG=Microsoft.public.Windows.live.mail.desktop

    4. you will find support for Outlook in these forums as well as in this public newsgroup:

  • Outlook 2007 receives all incoming mail

I have been using outlook express on an old emachine.  Upgrading to a new desktop computer with vista and outlook 2007.  I don't get the same emails on the new platform that I receive on the former.  I use verizon as my Internet access provider.  Any suggestions?

There is no need to go back. Some of us work at real jobs! (Note: not everyone who helps out on these forums work for Microsoft; a lot of people [like me] is volunteers.)

I think you missed my point or I can be misinterpreted your messages. I assume you are using the same email address on two machines and download of mail on both machines. If it is incorrect, please let me know. In the meantime, let me give you a brief explanation of the work of e-mail that could be more illustrative. It is an explanation of "boilerplate" I give to some of my clients, so not everything might apply to you - and I certainly don't want to hurt your feelings, if you already know this stuff - I'm just trying to help you. :-)

    *****
When you sign up with a provider of Internet (ISPS) like AT & T or Comcast Service, they give you email addresses, as * address email is removed from the privacy * or * address email is removed from the privacy *. When someone sends an email to you at this address, the e-mail goes and lives on one of the computers of your ISP. This computer is called a mail server. Now you have the choice on how to get that email.

    A. you can access reading online in your browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, etc.), your ISP e-mail program. It's called webmail.

    1. the advantage of webmail is that you can read your mail from any computer that is on the Internet. You just need to open a browser, go to the Web site of the ISP, login and go to your Inbox. Enamel still lives on the mail server of the ISP, not on your computer, and he stayed there until you remove them from Inbox of your e-mail on the Internet. He is interested only in viruses by the ISP anti-virus software. Since your email and address book are on the ISP e-mail server, you need not save anything unless you want to change ISP.

    (2. the drawbacks of webmail are a) If you have remote access and/or pay for Internet access by the minute, you must be online to read your mail; (b) you will not like the ISP webmail interface.

    B. the alternative to webmail access your email using a mail program (called an e-mail client) like Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, etc. Using a mail client downloads the email on your computer. Email has been scanned for viruses by the ISP anti-virus software, and again by the anti-virus software you have installed on your computer when you download. Unless you choose to keep messages on the e-mail server of the ISP and do not forget to remove them from webmail regularly, once downloaded on your computer these emails went from the ISP mail server. You can no longer access your emails from anywhere except on your own computer in the mail client you are using. As your mail and address book are on your computer in your e-mail client, backup regularly is your responsibility.
    *****

So if you download mail with Outlook Express on the same machine and mail with Outlook on another computer, you will get the same emails on both machines up to what you set each email (Outlook Express or Outlook) client to save a copy of the mail on the server. Then, you will get the same mails on both machines for as long you said the mail server to keep a copy of the mail. MS - MVP - Elephant Boy computers - don't panic!

  • folder within outlook 2007 has mail but is not visible. It can be searched, but no visible new mail goes into the folder but cannot be seen.

I use outlook 2007. I have a subfolder in my Inbox. It shows that I have mail in the folder, but I can't. He has worked in the past very well, and then all of a sudden I can't see mail read or unread folder. I see that mail is unread in the folder and I can look in that folder and find results but I can't see what is in this folder. Other subfolders work very well.

I fixed the problem for the co-worker. I checked to see if there is a filter applied and it didn't say in the banner, but he had a applied. You know not why the banner in the right pane showed no filter has been applied, but in any case, I removed the filter. To remove the filter highlight the subfolder. I then went in the view menu, click current view. Click Customize current view. Click Filter and then press all clear and mail again became visible
