How can I when I do all these problems again and again from the beginning until now? Can anyone suggest me the right way to solve this problem? What problem do you think it's from?   My iphone screen 5 is detaches from the case. I currently have the scotch tape holding it.  However, sometimes I have to touch the screen several times to make an application to function. What can I do? I don't really have the funds to buy a new iphone, and I have Straight Talk where I buy my own phone and have the package unlimited $ 45.00 per month.   Any suggestion would be appreciated. Mike

  Usually start up to a blank screen without the Apple Logo, may report one of the following:

  • Hardware failure
  • Boot drive is not recognized as valid and updated updated
  • OS X essential software is missing, hurt moved or renamed or corrupt
  • A firmware update is necessary

  No matter who, in order to boot from an external drive "bootable", you would normally hold down the Option key until you get a screen that offers a number of devices to try to boot from.

  Alternatively, you can try holding down the C key to try to boot from the external drive.

  If none of these startup options work, then the bootable disc or the USB port on your MacBook Pro can be the question.

  Since you have a Mac pre-2013, if you hold down the D key while booting, the built-in Apple Hardware Test should start up.  This can help to identify hardware problems.

  I know it's old, but working well... so far.  White screen.  It is recognized by itunes when plugged into the computer.  Restored successfully on the itunes screen, always white.  Tried the fix with holding home and power button.  Tried to hold the House, volume and power.  Screen remains white.

  My question - is all hope gone and I must finally remove this ipod?  It's been great and it's a sudden death - hard to see it go.

  The 3rd gen iPod "classic" has a great sound.  If you tried to do a restore already, its likely to be a hardware problem, unfortunately.

  These older iPods are easier to repair because they are assembled from items separated and not so integrated and miniaturized.  My work 3rd generation iPod was reassembled broken iPods that I bought on eBay, by swapping pieces.  The screen is not the thing that is broken, most of the time.  If you are somewhat technically inclined, you can remedy.  You can post back for more information.
