IPod 5th gen Date is December 31, 1969, time ignores timezone

I was on my Ipod Touch 5th Gen iOS 9.2.1 when he died. I don't have to plug it back in a few hours. When I had charged and turned on it said it was on 31 December 1969. The weather was too broad. I played a bit with the date and time using other instructions, but have had no luck. He said presently there January 4, 1970. I also get the notification saying "cannot verify server identity: 'calender.google.com' identity cannot be verified my Gmail notnef (email I have attached to my email application but not attached to my Apple account).» Review the certificate details to continue"I went into the details of the error and have already told him to trust. But that doesn't seem to change anything. I'm now going to turn my Ipod then turn it back again but I doubt, it's going to do anything. Help?

Thank you!

    I need help immediately.

I used my 5th GEN Ipod with the hands wet and noticed that he quickly extinguished on me that I was using. As soon as I got home I placed in rice for over 24 hours and tried to turn it on but nothing happened. I even tried to plug it into my laptop and go on itunes, but it will not be displayed on anyone.

No, go, unless you already have a backup.

Upgrade to 12.3.2.35 on Windows 7. It worked for about 10 minutes before everything started continuous crashing and apparently broke my iPod classic 5th gen. Now, no version of iTunes will work on my computer and my iPod think there nothing about this (while the investigation of my computer still shows 30 GB in use), and will not even try to sync. Help please!

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

Review the other boxes and other support documents list to the bottom of the page, in case one of them applies.

Backups of your library and device should be affected by these measures but there are links to backup and recovery advice there.

    iPod 5th generation, iOS 9.2.

backup to iCloud says date and time of the last backup performed Wednesday, December 23 at 12:17.  What this means he had access to my wireless home network to do?  It would be good to know if yes, then it is lost somewhere around the House and not elsewhere in the world!

  • Why isn't the iPod 5th generation 10 supported iOS?

I was happy that iOS 10 was compatible with the 5th gen iPod while it was not now, I'm a consultant on the weather to buy the new iPhone or stay with my iPod for everyday use

No doubt Apple sees the hardware underpowered to run the most recent version. My iPad 2 won't get it either.

  • iPod 5th generation camera

My sister just sent me an iPod 5th generation, and I can't understand how to use the camera. I can use the video, but it's as if the camera does not exist, which would make no sense at all.

The 5th generation iPod nano only supports videos.  It doesn't take much photos.

NOTE: It does not take photos, because the camera is fairly low resolution (compared cameras on mobile phones).  A still image at this resolution would be considered to be poor quality.  However, videos are often presented with lower screen resolutions.  Because there is movement, it seems.

  • iPod 4th Gen No Boot

    Hey guys,.

My iPod (4th gen classic monochrome, 20 GB) and iPod the same a friend both have the same problem - no start. Once connected, it only ever turn hard drive and display the logo of Apple for about 10 seconds and then off for a second, and restart. Resets hard doing nothing. Anyway to solve this problem, because most of my music collection is (including a few songs that I for some reason any more inside iTunes)? I also saw this: does not work frozen on the apple logo , but the link in the answer and it's for a 7th Gen iPod.

    Thank you!

The most likely cause is a faulty hard drive.  Did you do a Reset (reboot) as described in this document?

Learn how to reset your iPod - Apple Support  (see iPod with a click wheel)

If he continues to restart on its own, see if it passes in disc Mode

Put the iPod in disk - Apple Support Mode

If she goes into Disk Mode, connect it to your computer with iTunes does NOT.  If iTunes picks it up, it can invite you to do a restoration, which erases the iPod.  If you can get it to appear on your computer (except iTunes) as a USB storage device, you can unload your songs.
