is a possible on j4680 wireless installation?

I can easily install the drivers and support software on the laptops in the House, because at the time of the installation where it asks me to connect the printer to the pc via USB, I can physically bring the laptop to the printer. But I have 2 other workstations on the wireless network only and are too far away to connect to the pritner via USB. Can I install the drivers on the desktop very well, but at the time of installation where it wants to connect to the printer via the USB port, I have to say that jump, and then the printer does not appear a printer in the list of Control Panel.

Is it possible to get the configuration of the printer on a pc without ever connecting it via USB?

Thank you

Aaron

  • 7510 HP wireless installation failure

Recently updated to the HP 7510.  Installed successfully as a USB printer and then successfully updated wireless.  The driver would still asleep the next day morning, restart would solve temporarily cela, but not as a long-term solution.  I ran several of the available diagnostic tools (HP Print Scan Doctor and troubleshooting guide).  All said that everything was Ok for printing (scan - driver problem), until he tried printing that does not test.

The printer can see the internet through the router and I can 'ping' IP address of the printer from the computer successfully.  So I believe that the road to be good.

I used the uninstall script to unload everything and re - install and now it will not be installed.  I can plug in the USB cable and download the driver loaded, but the normal installation process does not even see the USB cable more.  When I try to convert USB-> wireless, it detects the printer and starts the installation process, but fails with "Network Installation fails.

HP support by phone was completely without help.

    Anyone have any suggestions.

  • HP LaserJet M1217 Wireless Installation on HPG60 Windows 7 64-bit issues with no error message.

I tried to install a new HP LaserJet M1217 with a wireless connection to my PC (HP G60 with operating system Windows 7 64-bit).  I spent many hours trying to a simple task.  I have not in all instructions and options slowly and kept my concentration without success.  I have the method wireless attempt, the method of USB, the method of attached CD-Rom and downloaded from the HP website.  Always without success.

I followed the instructions of troubleshooting and always without success.

I currently have a HP LaserJet P1102's wireless installed.  It works perfectly.  I have a wireless HP7280 all-in-one printer installed prior to my purchase of a new M1217.  I uninstalled the software of HP7280 before my attempt to install the new M1217.

I don't have any type of error except the computer would stop downloading for all options except the web download procedure.  The web left me hanging with no next steps after being downloaded.

I'm exahusted after several hours of attempted an installation.  I can get the M1217 print when it is attached to my PC via the USB port.  How can I get to print and scan wireless?

Thanks for your suggestion.  I had already downloaded the PDF file and followed the instructions without success.

I received a diagnosis of the HP media card and I was able to complete the installation.

  • Is this possible? Two wireless printers identical (HP3050) connected to the laptop even?

    Hello

I just bought a HP 3050 all-in-one and wishes to buy a home. Before I do, I was wondering if it was possible to connect two same printer on different wireless networks.

    Thank you

    Andy

Ok. Then, you need to use the CD on the desktop of your wife and the daughter cell phone to set up.

With you, laptop computer home and work when you want to print, you just select the printer you want to use, depending on your location.

  • HP LaserJet Pro P1102w: HP LaserJet Pro P1102w Wireless Installation - adding other laptops and desktop PC...

    Hello

I have a question about computers adding more to my HP printer.

I followed the instructions & so I can print wireless from laptop, I used during the installation (after removing the USB cable).

I can also print wireless from our various iPads & iPhones (after the change of the printer WiFi).

But I don't see how I can 'Add' laptop (Windows Vista) daughter & my main desktop computers (Windows XP), so they can print wireless too!

Does anyone know how to do this?

I tried to launch the installation of the drive on my laptop HP printer girls. He was able to recognize the printer, but was unfortunately unable to print.

For any help or suggestion would be appreciated.

    Thank you very much

    Simon B.

    Hi & thanks,

I also found a solution to install my printer HP LaserJet Pro P1102w wireless & connecting then 2nd, 3rd & subsequent laptop/desktop computers.

I initially reset the printer to remove any configuration, then I did the following:-

Install on a laptop using a CD or could start simply by connecting the USB cable to the laptop. Follow the instructions, test the characters etc. (to prove that the wireless network is configured correctly)).

Check printing wireless since this laptop computer 1 initial works, & also works various iPad/iPhone etc.

Problems have been met when try to get other laptops/workstations to print wireless (2nd & later).

The following seemed to work: -.

On the other portable computers desktop (do not plug printer with USB cable): -.

    (1) the installation of the CD,

    (2) choose the series w1100 - Wireless install,

    (3) choose to install the printer software (& display the Guide of the user if want),

    4) click Add another printer (option 1).

    (5) choose HP LJ P1100w Pro Series.

    (6) choose option 3 (to connect to a network configured wireless (that established earlier),

    (7) following, a lot of software is installed,

    (8) identify the printer by choosing the method to identify it (select in a list),

    (9) side of firewall pinhole (all).

    (10) looking for printer, concludes HP LJ Pro P1102w,

    (11) then the TCP/IP data has been: -.
    IP 192.168.2.46
    Subnet 255.255.255.0
    Gateway 192.168.2.1

    Host Name NPI1C754F

    (12) (stupid 'password required' kept appearing several times - X box to close),

    (13) to enable direct printing,

    (14) then,

Finally success!  A test prints to computers/idevices like many that I could find.

Thank you very much. I hope the above can help someone else!

  • Is it possible to buy the installation for Windows XP discs?

I currently have an old desktop computer that is really slow.  I would like to upgrade my desktop computer, but do not want Windows Vista or Windows 7.  The majority of the software I have on my computer is not compatible with these operating units.  I don't want to have to buy all new software, just because I wanted to speed up my computer.  I was wondering if it is possible to buy for Windows XP installation discs, or is it possible to spin discs in Windows XP that came with my old computer to a new computer?  I saw the post on the Windows XP installation from diskettes.  I don't have a floppy drive, CD will work very well.  I'm just trying to understand what my options are.  I contacted Dell and discovered that if I want to order a new office with Windows XP, I'll pay a little more for the computer.

    See the Tech Geek response.

However, to directly answer your question, (a) well that installation of Windows XP CD are available for different sources on the Internet, it can be difficult to tell what you buy in fact and whether or not it is legitimate and (b) under Windows XP CD you have now, you may or may not be able to use them to install XP on a new computer.  In addition, there is no guarantee that there will be Windows XP drivers for all hardware on a brand new computer.

If by following the advice of Tech Geek, you cannot get your current running almost as well as he did when it was new, the best (and probably cheaper) option is to buy a new computer with Windows 7 installed.  Unless you use some small markets proprietary software applications, you may be surprised to learn that the software you have now, in fact, will work on Windows 7.

For example, you can get a Dell low end computer with a Core i3-2120 (3.3 GHz) processor and 4 GB of RAM with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit for $429.  If you really must use XP for your applications, you can switch to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit (which supports XP Mode) for an additional $ 70.

Compare the above to the price of a 'full' (i.e., not upgrade) version of XP Home to $249.95 (Yes, you can get it cheaper if you are careful about what you buy).

Of course, if you find yourself either do a clean installation of Windows XP (whether on your existing computer) or another or if you buy a new Windows 7 computer, you need the keys to media and product installation for all of your applications.

  • full 6500 E709N wireless installation problem install on windows 8 preview version

certain someone can tell me. I have a 6500 E709N wireless printer. I downloaded the new windows 8 full install driver software from HP website. everything goes well with the installation until it arrives at the final stage of the configuration of the software. then it saids error fatal. I am running windows 8 preview version. I disabled the antivirus. the firewall is turned on. does anyone have any ideas?

FINSFANLH43, just to let you know, Windows 8 and Windows 8 Preview of consumption are two different operating systems. Some software that is configured for Win8 will never work in the 'test' environment, it's the preview.

Unfortunately, the preview is not fully active operating system and is not fully supported by our printers. The operating system can sometimes install OS for printer drivers after be directly plugged into a USB port and go through the process of automatic detection of computers. Even with that, you would be limited only to be able to print.

I installed Win8 Preview on my netbook to learn the operating system, but quickly discovered the limitations of the preview and was to return to my operating system previous to use all my programs and devices.

Your best option is to be return back as I did for a previous operating system or buy the Win8 complete software if you like how your computer works now. I have worked with Win8 during these last weeks, and it's a good operating system.

    I hope this helps!

  • help with HP Laser CM1415fnw wired and wireless installation

    Hi all

I have a hard wired and wireless. He let me just do one or the other. Is it possible that I can do both?

everything works if I'm wired or wireless, but the user wants to be able to use both.

    Any help would be great.

Sorry, cannot be enabled by design.  That said, the devices on a network don't like the way that others are connected.  You can print from a wireless connection to a wired (Ethernet) printer and v/v.

  • Wireless installation need help with Photosmart c309a Mac OS x 10.6.8

I lost my hard drive and am now reinstalling my drivers etc. for the HP Photosmart c309a Mac OS x 10.6.8. It will print if I connect via the USB port, but my office is across the room from the printer. At the same time, I was able to print and scan wireless. The last time I had to reinstall I lost the ability to scan wireless, so I think I originally had it network via airport, but used Bluetooth when I reinstalled.

Now, I can print when connected by USB, but I can't make a wireless setup works. When I try to print it says I am offline, and when I try to connect it says I am connected via the URL: usb://HP/Photosmart%20C309a%20series?serial= [my serial number here shows].

I am connected to Internet via WiFi to the installation service. I can also connect through our Verizon MiFi. I would like the ability to scan and print, but if I am limited to Bluetooth and print only, I would appreciate help with this setup as wireless printing is the most important.

Oh, the manual shows how to configure a Windows wireless system in both directions, but I do not use Windows. Thank you for all you can offer instructions.

    AHG,

This guide should guide you through the installation process and get you up and running wireless. Let us know if this helps: http://goo.gl/c2IXf

  • Possible to run an installation of LWAPP small on a dish network?

    Hello

As stated in the subject, is it possible to have the management for a 2006 controller network, be the same as the client network linking to, or do need to be on different networks?

    Thank you.

    Hello

This configuration will work fine. Map of your WLAN to the management interface, and all traffic will be tunnel via the tag/native vlan configured on the WLC / the rest of your network.

It will however allow users to access the GUI of the WLC, so keep your password secure. Also what is the network to which you just overlap the wireless on? Ideally, you should always segment your network regardless of the size for safety.

    Thank you

  • Canon MG4260 printer Wireless Installation for PC laptop Toshiba failed

I have a Toshiba laptop L750 under Windows 7 Home Premium and I am trying to install a Canon MG4260 printer via a wireless connection. I managed to install this printer to a Dell laptop and an ASUS laptop wireless, but the keeps installation fails on the Toshiba. The drivers seem to install OK I get a message that my device is now ready for use, however shortly after I receive a "printer installation failed" message, but no further details. The icon of the printer for the MG4260 appears in the list of devices and printers, but when I right click on the device, I can not set as default printer. Any ideas on how I can fix this problem. Previously, I had a Dell 715W printer attached to all of the above including the Toshiba PC wireless for more than 12 months.

Problem solved. Turned out to be Mcafee firewall.
