Is by default TCP Service record available on all devices?

Hi all

Depending on what is - record of Service default TCP, RIM will "push a record of service (configuration file) on the device which will have information pre-populated for the device carrier APN is connected at a given time."

This is EXCELLENT news!

However, according to this comment on a post of database related knowledge, what is - network alternative to legacy OS API, Shadid Haque - consultant app to RIM - said that the default TCP registration was only pushed to 6.0 AT & T devices at the moment. This comment was in March 2011.

Does anyone know if this service has been extended to all devices? Or, when this is possible?

Thank you!

  • Records work on all devices?

    Hello

I was wondering is Adobe Connect recordings work on all devices - or I have to use Adobe Media Encoder, or other software to convert the records?

Connect meeting recordings can be accessed on any device with a browser that supports Flash. If any Windows, Mac or Linux computer can display records. For mobile devices, the records can be transformed into a FLV (without additional cost to you other than the time needed to create the FLV file) or MP4 (add on function which has a cost that are associated with and is only available for accounts hosted by Adobe).

SOUL probably will not help in all cases. You might be able to use it to convert the FLV file, but then again, you might not (I have not tried). Connection use the Nellymoser codec for it is audio which can be problematic for video conversion software.

  • Losing Internet connection because of the default gateway is not available.

I keep losing internet connection and when I run the troubleshooter, it comes up saying "the default gateway is not available". I have an HP with Intel dv6985se. I was advised to do the following:
I had the same problems of chance which I fixed it by simple disabling 'SLEEP ON DISCONNECT' SideScalng disconnect

1 Access Device Manager (Control Panel > system and security > system > Device Manager)
    2. expand the network adapters
    3. Select the adapter that you are using (if more than 1 Repeat step 4 to 8 for each adapter)
    4. right click and select Properties
    5 click Advanced
    6. If you have installed Nvidia Ethernet configuration click the button
    7. scroll to the bottom of the list and disable the device sleep on disconnection and receive Side Scaling
    8. save the settings

I appreciate this help info but none of this applies to my computer has. In my device under 'Network adapters' Manager, I do not have Nvidia, Asus and AMD, which is listed under my network cards is "Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN" and "Realtek RTL8101E Family PCI - E Fast Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.20)".

The help that I've provided says disabling "Sleep on Disconnect" and "Receive Side Scaling"... or those who are in one of my "adapter properties tab advanced options" for both my Intel and Realtek... no where does say anything about sleep on disconnect or side scaling.

I was online with HP cat many times and Ive tried the options they have provided that is basically what I've found here but nothing has worked so far! My computer is 1 1/2 old and is preinstalled with Vista 64-bit. Recently, I have completely restored my computer with Windows 7 64 bit, and ever since then, I can't download anything or talk to HP or any kind of help because I lose the connection. Could someone please help me solve this problem... to be frank and honest he pisses me off beyond words that I never had this problem when I'm on Vista!

I don't know what else I can provide to better help me to solve this problem, but if anyone would like more information on what programs etc, my computer has let me know and I will provide the information. Below, I'm pasting the info I received through my history of troubleshooting like a Notepad of paper Network Diagnostic and Route.Print document.

  • My internet rpet 'unidentified network' + "the default gateway is not available"...

My internet was working fine before, but now repeat me 'unidentified network' and I know that's not my internet because I have another laptop that uses the internet itself very well. Then when I try to solve problems, he said "the default gateway is not available"... of the suggestions?

    Hello

    ·         Did you do last changes made on your computer before the show?

    ·         Using internet connection wired or wireless?

    Method 1:

Follow the steps in troubleshooting from the link and check if that helps.

Windows wireless and wired network connection problems

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/help/wired-and-wireless-network-connection-problems-in-Windows

    Method 2:

Temporarily disable the firewall on your computer and check if it makes a difference.

    Reference:
    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off

Note: Makes sure to turn Windows Firewall back, once you have done the troubleshooting.

    Method 3:

    Reset WINSOCK, TCP/IP IPv4 and IPv6 TCP/IP stack.
    a. Click Start and in the search box, type cmd.
    b. right click on command prompt, select "Run as Administrator" to open a command prompt.
    c. at the command prompt, type the following commands:
netsh winsock reset catalog which resets the WINSOCK entries to the default installation.
netsh int ipv4 reset reset.log that resets the stack TCP/IP IPv4 default installation.
netsh int ipv6 reset reset.log resets the default install IPv6 TCP/IP stack.

    d. restart the computer.

  • A default gateway is not available: Wi-wired connections and has stopped working on my PC

    Hi all.

Connections Wi-wired and on my PC have stopped working all of a sudden. I tried to restore my system to an older image, and he began to work for a while. He then stopped working again after a few hours, when I apply my updates of windows and other restorations (to the same restore point) didn't help. Troubleshooting, says that the default gateway is not available.  I already tried to renew that my ip and disable firewall and they do not seem to help. I am also unable to ping my default gateway. It is not a problem with the ISP, since I am able to connect using my laptop.
I use an edge of dell wireless network adapter and use a realtek network card.
Any help / pointers in the resolution of this matter will be highly appreciated.

Ok. So, I finally found the real culprit. It was an update of McAfee, which cut the Internet. I ended up uninstalling McAfee and re - install the latest version. Found the solution through this post:

  • WiFi access limited, error: "the default gateway is not available.

I just bought a laptop Windows 8 last December. It had been repaired twice (change the motherboard). He works all fine until last week, wifi connectivity started showing limited access. Furthermore, my IPV6 shows no access. I tried many solutions to many websites, but all will not work. Is there another way? When I trobleshoot the problem, it will show wifi Internet but when I run Google Chrome, it displays an error of internet connection. After I trobleshoot, the stated problem is "the default gateway is not available. In addition, he recovers in about 5 minutes after trobleshooting access. I need a solution as soon as possible. URGENT!  In addition, may I know what caused this do? I hope some of you can help. :(

Dell Inspiron 7420, unique language of Windows 8

    Hi Amos,.

I understand that your WiFi connection fails.
According to the guidelines of the error (the default gateway is not available), there is a problem with the gateway IP address that does not connect to the internet.

I would be grateful if you could answer the following questions:

    1. did you of recent changes made to your computer (installation of updates, device drivers)?

    2. which antivirus app do you use?

What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried?

Here are a few troubleshooting steps that you can try to solve this problem.

Method 1: Manually assign the IP address and the default gateway and check if it works very well. Before you assign manually the IP address and the gateway by default, do
a note of the IP address of the computer. To do this open command prompt, type ipconfig and press to enter. This displays the IP address, make a note of it.

To manually assign the IP address and default gateway, follow these steps:
    a. in the system, right click on network icon tray. Choose the open network and sharing.

    b. click on change adapter settings

    c. right-click on the card's wireless connection and click on properties.

    d. Double click on Internet Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Protocol and assign the IP address manually.
Example: Old Ip address is 192.168.0.1
    Replace the IP 192.168.0.50
    e. leave the subnet mask and default gateway are the same.
    Subnet mask = 255.255.255.0
Gateway by default, would usually 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1
    f. click apply then click Ok and restart the computer and check if it helps to solve the problem.

If the method above does not work, proceed to the next method.

Method 2: I suggest you try the steps from the link given below:
    Wireless and wired network problems

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows/network-connection-problem-help#network-problems=Windows-8&V1H=win8tab1&V2H=win7tab1&V3H=winvistatab1&v4h=winxptab1

  • Service not available error with SSAS cube

    Hello

We have imported Microsoft Analysis Services (SSAS) by using XMLA RPD Cube.  While using the drill down one-touch in BI answers using hierarchies of presentation, OBIEE generates the following error

    Error codes: OPR4ONWY:U9IM8TAC:OI2DL65P

    Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error occurred. [nQSError: 43113] The message returned by OBIS. The http return status is 503. < html > < head > < title > Service not available < / title > < / head > < body > Service not available < body / > < / html >

However, drill down one-touch works very well with the attribute columns. Alsoit stand is works well up to certain level of zoom. In the journal, it is obvious that OBIEE generates multiple physical queries (with clause) to extract the data in the cube.

Is there a limit on the size of the mdx or number of mdx queries that msmdpump.dll can treat?  Is there any configuration to be changed when you are working with SSAS cubes?

    Version OBIEE: 11.1.1.6.2 BP1

    Very much appreciate your time.

The error is due to the inadequacy of the maximum number of connections in the connection pool and the MaxThreadsPerClient of XMLA parameter in analysis services.

The default values are 10 and 4, respectively. Then adjust the number of values of connections in the connection pool and MaxThreadsPerClient of XMLA will solve the problem.

  • Default TCP timeout on ACE

    Hello

What is the default TCP on ACE time and how I can check it out. I have the sticky time set to 720 minutes. It applies to TCP timeout as well.

If you have not configured the parameter map and applied to the policy then ACE certainly will use the default values.

A way to test, it could be opening a new tcp connection and use the commmand "view details of conn" with the ip address of dest.

    Conn detail | beg 10.10.10.10

    and search for [timeout: xx:xx:xx].

downtime gives you the downtime for this connection.
