• Is AE the right program for a sports show?

  I'm doing the sports scores of a baseball game (pre-recorded).  I use AE.

  At the top of the screen in photoshop, I creates a "score bar.  My plan is to import this image into AE and fill in the fields with the text and numbers as required.

  Can anyone recommend a way to do that properly and effectively?  My fear is that I'll have to create tons of layers and it will quickly become VERY confusing.

  I am trying to replace my beloved Picasa that will disappear in May. I downloaded a 30 day trial to see if it would work for me. I am strictly a hobby photographer and use them to make albums and books for family photos. I want a simple folder structure that allows me to do and title records and organize them in chronological order by year. The catalog, collection, folder tutorials do not make clear how to proceed. Year be the folder and groups of photos that I import be a subfolder or would the year be a collection and groups of folders have pictures? It's much more complicated than I'm used to and probably more that I need so I don't know if I'm up to the learning curve. I also fear that when sharing photos, this will be the edited copy. Any help would be appreciated.

• Windows 7 taskbar and start menu large icons are either missing (empty by default) or do not show the right program.

  I use Windows 7 Home Premium on an AMD Athlon (TM) II X 4 630 2.80 GHz with 6.0 GB of RAM (64 bit OS). PC is up-to-date with the latest updates and use Norton Anti Virus.

  I used this PC for several months with no problems. After doing some research in my menu of the taskbar Windows Explorer and start icons have become corrupted. The links always work but do not show the right program.

  I tried several things to fix this. I removed everything in the start menu and taskbar, rebooted, added a few back but the problem still exists. I deleted the icon cache file (renamed to db.old), restarted, problem still exist. I made a recovery of a checkpoint system before the problem was still not fixed. When I go to small icons, the problem disappears. The problem only seems to appear when you use large icons in the bar of tasks and the start menu.

  Based on what I've tried so far is there any other suggestions on how to fix this?

  Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but here is your solution:

  Regedit > HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT > Applications > AcroRd32.exe > shell > open > command

  Right click > edit

  Change your version to the latest version number:

  I tried to open Dell Webcam central because it did not work. I have a click right and select open with, then select default opener. I have not noticed that the box that says something in the sense of "make default for all programs" was checked. Now any time I try to open any program, it opens the webcam.

  In order to change the default program for the external application Editor. Please follow the instructions below.

  Click on the Edit menu, then choose Preferences.

  Once the dialog box is open.

  Click on file publishers.

  In the left pane, you will find all types of files that you want to change.

  On the right, you'll find publishers for this specific file type.

  If you want to add any other application, you must click on + symbol at the top of the right pane.

  Select the path of the application that you want to apply.

  Click Open.

  A little history: I recently bought a version of Win7 to a Z930 in Auckland from PB Tech shop. I've updated to a clean version of Win8 64-bit. My Win8 seems works ok but I noticed something strange in the Toshiba PC Health Monitor - apparently the Toshiba HDD/SSD Alert is not installed, so I don't understand not his iconic display in the health monitor (but the health monitor think my SSD is in "Good" shape - maybe it's reading the INTELLIGENT of my SSD interface, or maybe it's just saying 'Good' because the integrity monitor is apparently able to operate?)

  I can easily find different versions of the Toshiba HDD/SSD Alert Utility in questionable Web sites - download, but I really prefer to get my Toshiba support drivers. Which leads to my question:

  Where can I get the right drivers for PT23LA-01 009? NZ nor the webarea to Toshiba support have this model in their menus. The closest match seems to be
