Telepresence C40 intermittent on / off input audio microphone

Hello

There was a time that audio input microphone of telepresence C40 goes OFF mode when you start the unit. Also when manually activate us it and end the videoconference call.

The mode will be automatically extinguished.

The configuration is C40 entry audio microphone is connected to the mixer of third party.

Is there no workaround solution to fix?

Much appreciated for your help. Thank you very much!

Hi all

Ralph has opened a case with TAC and arrived at webex. It's just to let everyone know that we were able to solve the problem. Just to convey information. That's what we were doing on the webex session:

Indeed, we found tha the microphones were shut off as soon as we have disconnected from the call. We checked the following things:

xConfiguration conference 1 AutoAnswer Mute: Off

xConfiguration MicUnmuteOnDisconnect Mode 1 Conference: on

xConfiguration Provisioning Mode: TMS

We turned off the MicUnmuteOnDisconnect first and the problem still persists. We have then canceled endpoint of the TMS suspecting that configuration could come from the TMS and checked by calling again. Hoewver, the microphones were always switch off to end the call.

Finally, we checked the parameters of MuteOnInactiveVideo:

xConfiguration Audio input Microphone 1 VideoAssociation MuteOnInactiveVideo: on

xConfiguration Audio input Microphone 2 VideoAssociation MuteOnInactiveVideo: on

We shot both of them off and the problem was solved. Ralph, please check this question as answered so that others can enjoy.

Kind regards

Saint André

  • Re: No reading on Satellite L305-5894, Realtek HD Audio Microphone

    To the right:

I had the problem after two days.

I bought a microphone so I can register on my computer, but when I plug the microphone I can't hear myself through the speakers (which, in the past, I was always able to do on other machines and the previous operating system), even if I am able to register and listen to the recording.

Unfortunately, being unable to hear yourslef all kind of defeats the purpose, you have no way to monitor your recording levels. I bought a USB mic yesterday, could not make it work, thought it was the problem, he's back today and bought an analog microphone, but I'm still having the same problem.

I spent countless hours trying to find a solution, a solution and have developed with nothing else that a player who shows my voice through the speaker, but with a delay of 1 second. Obviously, if an application can process the microphone of the inputs and outputs for the speakers, then Toshiba AND/OR Realtek should being able to provide a solution for the problem of not having read microphone through the computer's speakers when using a microphone, something that I HAVE NEVER COME ACROSS on ANY OTHER MACHINE or with any other card her I HAVE NEVER USED.

I'm literally begging for a solution to this problem. I'm SURE it can be fixed. Help, please.

    Thank you.

    Hello

It s a series of Toshiba laptops we so I m not very good on the same parameters.
But I have a laptop with a Realtek HD audio chip and Panel, there is a Realtek HD audio Manager utility.
Here, you can change some related settings the microphone and speakers.
In the upper right corner, you might find 'Advanced settings', which controls the plug mic

I recommend you play with these options

  • LabVIEW myRIO simple Audio input Audio output exercise

    Hello

This can be a very simple question, but it's my first time on Labview and I'm having a lot of trouble. I'm trying to plug a speaker into the Audio Out of myRIO boad and connect the audio output to the microphone of my laptop.

I tried to design a very simple system with a timed loop which contains an analog input and analog output block. Everything I connected at the output of the Anlog entry at the entrance of the analog output. I tried my setup, but I quietly exit form the compound herds.

    Thanks for all the help

Well, fortunately you are running on an FPGA, you can do the close infinitely fast.

Try to loop to > 20 kHz, for example. (Audio range).

There is no example of shipping you are dealing with audio processing?

    Hi Razor7music,

When you use your camcorder in manual mode or cinema, you can use the entry 'micro' from inside to outside. Here's how:

Choose 'Func', then 'MENU', then click on the camera icon, then choose "Mic Input Terminal". Now, press 'Audio LINE', then click on the button «Back»

Are more completely described and illustrated on page 72 of the Manual of the G20 VIXIA HF.

  • No audio microphone detected

    microphone. __

My camera on my computer microphone is set to high and is not on mute and still can not detect any sound. We conduct all the tests, but no sound can be detected.

    Hi lanny77,

There are several possible causes of the problem:
    1. the microphone isn't close to pick up your voice. Make sure that the microphone is positioned close enough and you speak directly into it.
    2. the microphone is muted. Some microphones have an external control for muting. Make sure that the mute control is disabled.
    3. the microphone input level is too low. Make sure that the microphone input level is set correctly.
    4. the microphone connections are not properly attached.
    5. a different microphone is selected to be used with speech recognition.

To adjust the microphone input level, try the following steps.
    1. Open Audio devices and sound themes by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, hardware and sound, and then clicking sound.
    2. click on the recording tab.
    3. double-click on the microphone you are using speech recognition.
    4. click the levels tab and then use the slider to adjust the entry level for your microphone.

Try the above steps and check the result. If the problem persists, please visit the following link and run Microsoft fix to reset the sound settings: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Tips-for-fixing-common-sound-problems

  • Taken input audio combo Inspiron 3537

The laptop has a single socket to the micro and headphones. (3.5 "4 female plug).

The microphone and the headphones do not work together.

If I plug in a device 4-pin microphone/headphone jack, popup a dialog to choose which type of device has been connected. It doesn't contain headset option. There are only micro, headphones, input line, options etc.

    Op system: Win7 64 bit

    zsigagabesz
Here are only micro, headphones, input line, options etc.

That means the "etc" - there are additional options, that you did not include in your message?

Try to download a new copy of Windows 7 Realtek audio driver for the Inspiron 15 3537 oft and see if it still gives you the context menu. Is the only driver Win7 Realtek Dell just to present to your model, so if you still get the same right choice popup an option then go the the playback and the recording of the sound Properties tab and manually select a default device in each tab. The computer sees the headset as 2 devices in any case, not only a single unit.

  • Line-In does not detect audio microphone?

I recently got a new headset, Razer Pro Kraken, and the line does not detect my microphone, I need because I use Skype. I checked and there the audio turned up completely, and I know for sure that the plugs are correct. What should I do to fix this? I am on Windows 7, if it helps.

And also - I can hear the audio, the microphone right pick up. And I know that he is not a defective product, because I had this problem with previous helmets in the past.

Hello. Your laptop is an Alienware M14x? Have you tried to reinstall the Realtek audio driver?

Reinstalling the audio driver will restore the default audio settings. On many models by default is for line-in (off mic amp) then you may need to select again for a microphone and set the mic boost levels.

I would check the settings both on the recording of the sound Properties tab (right-click on the audio icon and click recording devices, right-click on the microphone and set as the default, right-click the microphone, and then click Properties device, then the levels tab to set the push) and also the microphone of the Realtek Audio Manager tab. I would test the microphone using Windows Sound Recorder instead of Skype.

  • Caused USB audio microphone does not work

I had a finished project and went to show to a friend. I got a new Blue Yeti USB microphone plugged when I opened the program. Now no audio cannot be heard through my speakers, and in the "audio" section, he said the microphone and the speakers (does not work). Need help please, I have put hours and hours into this project, and don't want it to be for nothing.

You must go in its input/output of your operating system controls and make sure that you had used the 'standard' output is checked... sometimes connect a USB microphone can get wobbly system. If your standard output work... then go into the preferences panel / Audio Hardware in PrPro as shown below...

My system is using the 'peripheral' Ms. class, but many work better using the Asio option if it's available there.

Below, also check your default output device..,.

  • W530/Realtek HD Audio - Microphone disabled, Cant Get it Back

I inadvertently turned off the microphone integrated into the properties of the Control Panel, Sound, recording, Microphone. It has now disappeared entirely, and I can't understand how to get it back. I checked access to the BIOS/security/I/O Port/Microphone setting, but it is always on it. What should I do? A related question - is there a similar place to disable (and re-enable) the camera integrated? -JCW2

In the recording, right click on the empty space tab and check "Show disabled devices". It will be displayed?

You should be able to disable/enable the webcam in the i/o Port access in the BIOS. A place easier but more easily substitutable is in Device Manager.

  • M6 n010dx - Beat Audio never really turns off, terrible audio compression

I have re-installed audio drivers several times.

    Beats Audio never turns off.

I can uncheck the box, and if the sound is less full, adjusting the sliders on the rockers in the Beats Audio effects the sound.

In addition, the sound is very compressed no matter what. Listen to a song file FLAC with headphones on my phone without equalizers and listen to them on my laptop with headphones, the difference is obvious. I have no idea why this would happen or how to turn off.

    product name: HP Envy m6

    I hope this helps.

  • Audio microphone recording sound recording

I can't get my internal microphone to work properly.  During playback, my voice sounds like I am taking the floor in a kettle + it is barely audible and resonates as I am 1 million miles, speaking via a satellite connection.  I contacted the technical support of HP, was on the phone for about 3 hours during 2 days; I came home yesterday, the laptop (HP ENVY dv7 - 7333cl Notebook PC) at Costco, where I exchanged for an identical one that has the same problem.  On their recommendation, I downloaded a new audio driver, made updates, and last night I did a full system recovery, but, alas, no better... • Audio / Microphone on Laptop Inspiron 15 computer laptop does not not after upgrade to Windows 10

I have an Inspiron 15 bought mid 2013 with Windows 8 and little used. I just upgraded to Windows 10 and the upgrade was quick and easy.

Since the update the microphone at full volume can barely be heard (my contacts on Skype hear me at all).

I tried to install the latest driver of Realtech and also for this device, the Microsoft driver, but makes no difference; I'll be back now the driver original waiting to get some tips.

It seems that it is a common problem with Windows 10 because there are many similar problems, broadcast on the Microsoft support forums.

Someone at - it a solution please?   Waiting ;-)

    Graham

You are not alone because apparently many of us have this problem. Short term solution is to change the driver from Realtek to the generic Microsoft HD Audio Device in Device Manager. The long-term solution will take Dell Realtek + Microsoft to acknowledge the problem and fix the drivers.

I want to record from a file without using themicraphone on my laptop Inspiron 15 7537.  He had instlled software Realtek but no option to use the IDT internal microphone or Audio CODEC so he picks up background noise which is not good.  When I try to save the only option it is the Realtek microphone.

He had instlled software Realtek but no option to use the IDT internal microphone

Hello. As you say, your laptop has audio Realtek so it is unclear what you mean by "Microphone internal IDT. Dell doesn't use audio Realtek so IDT in the same model of laptop.

Here are some other ways to save in addition to using the built-in microphone.

    > External mic. Because the Inspiron 7537 only has a headphone jack, you can't use a regular computer microphone which would have a TRS plug, but instead, you must use a headset with a plug from SOCKET that looks like this:

"Headphones" is the headphones with a microphone. You can also use a regular mic which has a TRS plug if you get an adapter to convert it to a plug from SOCKET. The adapter is called a "helmet buddy."

    > A usb microphone.

    > If you want to record a stereo signal, you can do that through your headphone socket because its entry is mono only. To save the stereo, you need an adapter usb audio with a "line-in" socket Don't get one that has only a mic jack because it will be only mono too.

    dlb21a
I want to record from a file

    > If the file is already in your computer, you can internally record in the computer by selecting 'stereo mix' as default device in the recording of the sound Properties tab. If you do not see the stereo mix, right-click in the empty area of the tab to open the context menu and select "Show disabled devices". (You must have your installed Realtek audio driver).

  • Windows 7 causing Audio & Microphone to stop working

I have a Sony Vaio VGN-Z21WN, which came with Windows Vista.  I later upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate.

In recent weeks, the audio doesn't work with the microphone.  I tried to install the drivers more late two Sony & Realtek Web sites, but nothing worked.
Concerned that it was a hardware problem, I did a factory reset and I went back to Vista... audio & new microphone worked perfectly.
I improved this "clean" Windows 7 ultimate installation, and the problem reappeared.  Yet once, I tried different drivers Realtek & Sony, but nothing of reactive sound.  I even installed all the latest drivers for the chipset, wifi, the latest version of the bios, etc...
Windows says that the hardware is installed and working properly.  I tried to use headphones, external microphone, etc., but with no luck.
I believe that a recent update of Windows 7 has caused this problem - is there a fix available?

    I did, thank you.

I finally discovered - by chance - cause.
Deletion of my Logitech USB 'nano-receiver' for my mouse wireless solved the problem.  Very surprised this kind of thing can cause such a conflict these days!
Very grateful for the help, Anil, I hope that if someone has a problem like mine they find this discussion.
