  I've been a Firefox user for many years and I still use it as my main browser. A problem that has bothered me for years lies in the fact that when Firefox is open and I change my audio output device by default, Firefox does not respect this change and continues to play audio through the device that was used to originally. Like most aspects of the system, but when I open a folder/subfolder bookmark the bookmakrs are shown by the "date of my favorites. Order of the alphabet, I prefer because it is much easier to look things up. I tried to use the "View menu" to reorganize, but each time than the default folders to "chronological order" after I turned it off and restarted my laptop. Is there a way to 'save' the order of the alphabet? (I use Windows 7 on a laptop Compaq)

  Sorting on a single folder is not recursive. This could be the difference in expectations and work or not. I thought in Netscape 3, I remember to use it to sort my favorites and then take them back to my current browser at the time...
