Is there a way to locate segments of a reference to another image image?

Is there a way to locate segments of a reference to another image image? We need it in our project in order to be able to compare segments of a reference image (in our case, our topic is a PCB) and another image (another PCB) without taking account of its position.

OK, it's more complicated problem and the vision module would probably be a good choice at this time, but I'm not familiar with it.

Are the two images in exactly the same size, scale and resolution and contain the same features? (For the most part, except the errors that you are trying to find) only differ by a horizontal vertical displacement? It could also be a rotation?

I assume that the colorful circle are for illustration of the problem and not actually present in the images. Right? The area interesting selection?

Assuming that there is no rotation, inclination or difference of scale, in a first time, you must find the offsets for alignment. Maybe a 2D crosscorrelation will give you that.

Is there a way to change the default options when png or JPEG received on a mac? I can choose between backup to the downloads folder, or open photos. I would like to open in preview instead. Any ideas?

Problem solved. No apparent reason, the two choices (save downloads and open in photos) presented disappeared and now I have the only option I get is to open the image in preview. No idea how this happened, but my problem is solved.

  • In LR, is there a way to save ALL the settings of printing an image, so it can be duplicated thereafter?

I would like to save all my print settings attached to a particular image, so that I can recreate exact printing at a later date.  Not only a model for size. That includes the printer, page layout and paper profile used and adjustments. I see the button print to create safe and it creates a print item registered under smart collections, but if I did this for say, 100 different images, the list would be prohibitive, unless I could put in their own collection in some way, can be viewed by certain criteria pre-established for example a label like "saved printing" or something specific to the image. Too smart that Adobe is, I guess it's there somewhere, but I can't.  Could someone tell me where and how to use it?

My advice: Try just a couple of "prints saved." Then test if they make what you need.

Collections can be deleted, so if your collections 'test' do not work for you - you can remove.

(Note: to reopen an impression in the printing of a collection of prints module saved, you click on the white arrow that appears at the end of the name of the Collection.) Just by clicking on the name of the collection opens only the images in grid view. )

  • Is footage Epic 5K - there a way by default "scale to the size of the image" horizontally?

    Hey there,

So basically I have a 2 sequence of k (2048 x 854, 2.40:1 aspect ratio) and I work with 5 k Epic Full Frame footage. With "scale to the size of the image" on, it fits the image from top to bottom, leaving black space on the sides. I know that I can just step up, but it means that I have to disable the subsampling if I want without loss of quality. So what I want, it's so he can mount the frame horizontally and be able to adjust the framing from the top down. Is there any setting I can change to make this happen? Is the part of the RED workflow I'm missing?

    Thanks for reading.

I agree with Ann, as usual.

Stay with me on this because I have a workflow that might work for you.

Don't forget that you can create a sequence using a size of the image that is 2048 wide, but it is large enough to display your picture video when revised downward. If the image full frame are 16:9, it would be 1152.

Once you have this sequence, you can drop all your clips on it, their balance all by the scaling of one, copy and paste the attributes to all the rest as suggested Ann.

Now you can simply use this sequence rather than the individual clips, so that your source media. You can chop it to everything in the Source monitor and delete sections of the sequence on the sequence of 2048 X 854. This means that you just have to use the parameters of position up and down sections, and it will be an easier than all the scale when you drop them on the timeline. Or, of course, you can create a sequence of 2038 X 1152 for each of your media clips in place, in order to keep the names right. It is up to you.

Now, it is probably useful only if a lot of the clips work well without be moved upwards or downwards. If the center of section works well for enough of them, it probably you will save time and trouble.

However, if you want to enter the path for almost all of them effect anyway, then it might be just as easy to their one size at a time. Although the position can be changed more easily than the scale, click on the query parameter and setting the right position in the program monitor.

You could put three different copies of a handy clip at the front of the timeline. A cup Center, one at the top and bottom of the frame. You can copy one like that you want when you want.

  • Is there a way to open a VI editing mode, within another VI?

I'm looking for a way to open a VI within my application in edit mode.

I tried to use secondary for this, but it won't let you edit the Panel before VI you opened and if you open the block diagram that it appears in a new window. I want to just be able to essentially incorporate the editable inside my application VI?

Anyone know of a way or ideas?

    Thank you!

Well, the Windows API has functions to set the parent of a window window. An example can be found in this thread. I don't know if this will be enough for what you're trying to accomplish.

  • Is there a way to get refnum one control from a local variable or the wire?

I'm looking for a way to get the refnum of the element of a façade of a local variable or the wire. Is this possible?

Is there a way to accomplish the following?  (These are published images, this is currently impossible in LV)

    or maybe

If this kind of thing is not possible, is there a reason for this? If there is no reason why it is impossible, I'll put it on the boards of the suggestion.

    Why do you need this?

A thread is simply data. It is not associated with a control.

Similarly, a local variable is a way to access the data in a control, for not interacting with the control itself.

Is the control of the right-click and selecting Create > reference not good enough for you?

You can write code to get the reference to the controls connected to the cable and the the control whose desired local variable, but I feel that this is not really what you want.

  • LR4.1 - is there a way to speed up 'zoom' 1:1?

I use the Canon 7 d dng files.  When I zoom 1:1, it takes about 7 seconds to make the display.  When you go through 200-300 pictures to check the update, of course this adds a lot at a time.  I use a 24 "monitor @ 1920 x 1200, and if I do the image display area as small as possible, it takes about 6.5 seconds to make the display (loading...)."

Is there a way to make it faster?  Can I preload images with zoom in the database for a collection of photos?  I love LR, and I'm not interested in bashing the product.  I just want to maximize its pass.  Also, I know that the thread "Lightroom is slow," explains an extract 1:1.  I just ask this question more precisely as to not be part of a general complaint about LR.

    Thank you.

Have you given previews of 1:1 in advance?  Otherwise, select all the photos in the grid view and go to the menu library > Previews > render 1:1 previews and wait until it finishes.

  • Location bar history shows my most visited websites in a small box with a scroll bar, is there a way to expand this and make it longer (with no scroll bar)

For a long time my address bar is backwards, the triangle button (I guess it's called the location bar history or something) always showed my most visited Web sites in a big box with all my sites. Now it always does the same thing but the window its shorter and has now a scroll bar on it, is there a way to restore or change this option to how I got it?

Normally, you should see approximately 12 items in the drop-down list.
This is defined via the pref browser.urlbar.maxRichResults you can review and edit the topic: config page.
If you see a lot less you could have an extension or a theme problem.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox, Tools/menu key > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem.

    • Put yourself in the DEFAULT theme: Firefox, Tools/menu key > Modules > appearance
    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode safe
  • IPhone lost 6. the batery was about to die. If the phone does not connect to internet. is there a way to keep track of its location?

IPhone lost 6. batery about to dye, it is not connected to the internet. Im trying to track its location by FIND MY IPHONE, but seems to be offline.

I'll be able to track its location? or y at - it another way to track its location?

No, you won't. There is no other way or the other. The only way to find my iPhone to work is if it has been activated prior to the loss, the device is on and it has an active connection to the internet. If one who does not exist, you cannot follow the device. As you say the battery was almost dead, then he's probably already dead. You will not be able to track the device.

  • Is there a way to remove the segment lines from a polar grid (filled using livepaint) without join them using pathfinder (which makes it a pain should future changes it will take)?

I use the polar grid tool to do the graphics in 'ring', but we need to develop and then join segments of same color using the pathfinder before using them in PDF files and images (and not printed, which is fine) to avoid the original grid lines are visible. Is there a way to avoid these lines which display without doing this, because if a change is made then to the table, it's a pain to redo once the segments were joined?

Example below - the yellow area has not been reached; others have.

I'm so sorry. Should not publish before the first coffee.

It is a problem of anti-aliasing.

What you can do when you export raster formats:

    -Do not extend the vectorization.

-When optimized for 'work' antialiasing method defined export type not "optimized".

If this does not work: try and apply the pixelation effect and set the resolution on everything that you need to export.

  • Is there a way to globally disable the cache of Firefox?

I run a computer lab with several linux PC (Ubuntu LTS 14.04 / latest version of Firefox). The users homedirectories are located on a file server central and limited by a diskquota. Unfortunately, Firefox takes an important part (if not all) of this quota with its cache. Is there a way to globally disable the cache?

  • Is there a way I can restore my backup profile that I took from a folder (for example Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\)

    Before re-installing Firefox 19, I took by mistake backup my profile in a folder - C:\Documents and Settings\garan14\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles and not from C:\Documents and Settings\garan14\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles.

When installing, I chose option "Delete old profiles" and I don't see any old folder under C:\Documents and Settings\garan14\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles profile.

However, I have a lot of important data stored under that profile that has now been deleted.

Is there a way I can restore the old profile data? (PS: as stated above, I have a backup of the profile folder that is located under the Local Settings folder)

I'm in a desperate need for aid. Pls reply as soon as possible.

Firefox stores only cache files to the location of the local settings and not the files in the main folder of the Firefox profile.

There is no need to save this place in local contexts in any case.

The main folder of the Firefox profile is in "C:\Documents and Settings\ < user > change Data" on Windows XP.

If you have deleted your personal data during the uninstallation of Firefox and do not have a backup then your only option is to use an undelete utility to see if you can recover this profile folder.

  • The applications listed under Launchpad, is there a way I can delete the ones I don't use on my MAC Air?

The applications listed under Launchpad, is there a way I can delete the ones I don't use on my MAC Air? I hope that I can free up space.

Start the LaunchPad and hold the option key. The icons will start to shake and an X will appear in the upper corner of some but not all. Click the X to remove the application. Programs that have an X are only purchased/downloaded from the App Store. Integrated programs in Mac OS (like Safari) or programs you have downloaded/purchased elsewhere will not be a X. You should not delete (or move) programs such as Safari and Mail (built-in programs) because the update from Apple guess they were be on your computer in their installation location. Weird things happen if they are moved or deleted.

Programs you don't purchase/download from the App Store can be deleted without the help of the dashboard, but you must be careful about this. Third party programs can be installed in different ways: some come in disk images and are trained in your application forms. These can be moved without danger in the trash. Some are installed using an installation program, and these require a little care to remove. In some cases, they set up items in addition to the program and require a special uninstall program, but this is not true in all cases. I always do the note of programs using a Setup program, so I can make sure I have properly uninstall.
