• Captivate 5 - extremely slow reaction of the system for all actions

  I had 5 Captivate on my Windows XP Pro machine since July 2010.  I used heavily until March 2011, but it used VERY little since then (now Sept 2011).

  When I started yesterday at C5, it has been extremely slow in opening the application.  When I open a file I created in early 2011, stored on my C drive and less than 2 MB, it takes a few minutes to open the file.  Any action that I take in C5 takes MINUTES that the system to answer - if clicking on a slide to see in detail, by selecting an action, go to the next page, select an option in the menu bar - EACH action takes minutes to the point where even when I wanted to just remove some extraneous slides in a recent record It took me over an HOUR to do.  Curiously, she had no problem recording the actions of a site web - but put it up to C5 so that I can see and edit the file took minutes.

  What is happening and how to fix this?  Should I uninstall this version and reinstall?

• A few questions about the workflow with the window Code and Actions Panel

  If I have the window of open Code and want to add a new action to an element (by right-clicking and choosing "open stock...) "), the program is not responding.   I know that you can click on the small icon to the right of the name of the item in the properties panel for "open stock". But that only works once. Say that I have added a click to an element using this icon event, but then, I also want to add a mouseout/mouseouthandler() event. If I click on this icon, once again the Panel is described in orange but nothing happens.

  It is slow me down having to open and close windows whenever I have add a new action. Am I missing something? Is there a secret character that I'm supposed to use to add an action without having to use the Actions window. I prefer open the Code panel so I can easily hope around the code for different elements. This division between the Action and the Code is intuitive and . ineffective

  If you want to use the window Code, no need to jump on stock {} icon or use ' shares open dethrone ' command, just keep the Code window opens, make a click right then don't use the icon to the right of the symbol or element you want to apply an action to - see + captures. When you click on the + follow the special action string. This way you can add several 'Actions' without having to close the Code window.

  

  Regarding the by clicking on the icon {} when the Code window is already open, like a time thing - good observation. You will need to use the above + process to add successive events.

• Incompatibility with the transformation of multi - subject

  I am currently working on a project that is to develop two almost identical diagrams of the architectural floor plans, without distortion and one with. Each image is a collection of shapes, lines and text, and then I'm using a copy of the original and make a vertical scale transformation to make the second image. In this way, if I need to make changes to the original, I don't need to draw in the axon, I can just turn off the transformation, you change and then turn it back on.

  The question that I saw today was when I apply the transformation to the image, it seemed that lines and shapes have been all turned against themselves and not to a common origin. What I'm left with was a bunch of objects scattered, transformed individually. The problem, in my view, could be the way I ordered it in the Panel layers; each image has it's own layer and all the elements it contains are arranged on top of each other without any other overlay. In any case, I could solve the problem after you have selected the entire image, moving three pixels down and reapply the transformation.

  Is there something I should know about changes in the group that would remove some of the mystery and make my life easier? I see no reason why lowering the whole group would help to solve the problem, but he did, so now I'm confused.

  It seems that if you lived in a way something like transform each. If selected together, they shouldn't behave like that with a normal processing.

  You can put it in a precomp it is at a lower rate (make sure that your preferences are set to keep the pace of the precomps).

  I'm creating a tree of decision/chart. I'm animate the position of a chart on the scene when the user selects Yes or no in response to a series of questions.

  I divided each movement of the diagram on the chronology of the scene in the form of labels. I staggered these transformations as keyframes on the same layer/path. The issue I'm having is when I manipulate the position of my diagram by moving on the stage, it affects the adjacent transformations. I have my separate transformations with a 1/10 of a second away because I thought that this would split the timeline, but it does not appear!

  

  While I can change the transformations manually by typing in coordinates xy it would be ten times faster to move the diagram on the stage instead and not to overwrite adjacent transformations.

  How to limit the transformation for the two points for the key frame with what I fear?

  Hello

  If you disable the automatic transition mode in the timeline panel, you can then create individual keyframes first for your late departure from the values, and then add transitions for each pair selected later. That should help you achieve what you're trying to do.

  Once you have done this, if you need to make an adjustment later without affecting the adjacent keyframe you can do this by placing the playhead on the keyframe, selecting the key image, then adjusting the property.

But I didn t find work to set the variable. I´d like directly manipulate the final transformation matrix because I wrote a Xtra that it computes. So what is the correct syntax (help says nothing about it) - something like [(0,1,2,3),(4,5,6,7),(8,9,10,11),(12,13,14,15)] and many other doesn´t works. (If possible with a small example) any help would be great?

  To define a transformation, you need a transform object

  myScene.Group ("myGroup"). Transform = myTransformObject

  to create an object of transformation, you can use the transform method:

  myTransformObject = transform()

  then set each property separately:

  myTransformObject.position = vector (x, y, z)
  myTransformObject.rotation = Vector
  etc.

  These values (x, y, z, a, b, c... etc) are your transformation matrix, this means that you need access to the matrix and get the values and give them jargon in a way that 'includes '. There is no way 'directly' use the transformation matrix.

  Finally, when you get finished myTransformObject, assign it to group("myGroup").transform (you get the same result if you assign to each group("myGroup").transform property)

  Yes, it can be manipulated. Have you created a process that appcepts the appeal of PeopleSoft. If this is not the case, how are you expecing to happen.

  You can create an esb by creating a serivce rounting with an xsd, it might looks something like

  The DB adapter will create the xsd using the wizard. The trick in the transformation to ensure that you implement the for each feature because a line will be copied, if you do not. Right click the target repeat the element and select for each. Map the source repeat the element to the foreach on target.

  There are good examples in SOA_HOME/bpel/examples/tutorials that can help you.

  The best way is to enter the MIG_ID in the XML source.

  It's a question of how the recipients e-mail programs deal with attachments.
