Hello

There are different methods to reinstall Windows 7.

You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

This may or may not work as you have changed the original operating system:

And if you have never received a recovery disk when you bought your computer, there should be a recovery on the drive Partition hard reinstall Windows how much you bought your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup. (Power on / start)

Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Them or us ask the right sequence of key.

Or download the correct ISO file and make your own drive and use the product key located on the COA sticker.

And Neosmart has instructions on how to burn ISO disk images using imgburn:

http://NeoSmart.NET/wiki/Burning-ISO-images-with-ImgBurn/

The COA sticker is either or in the battery compartment on the underside of the laptop.

By using the downloaded ISO file method can require the Activation of phone.

If it does require phone activation, do not follow Auto guests, but hold on a real person explain as to what has been done for purposes of re-setup

Using the above downloaded ISO method, you would also have to go to the website of the manufacturer of your computer > software and drivers downloads Section > key in your model number and operating system > and then download the appropriate drivers for your model.

See you soon.

How to uninstall windows 10 and reinstall windows 7

I do not recommend coming back because I've seen too much to go wrong.
Returning can be done only if you have installed in the past 30 days (if you created a new user, you should remove it before come back you)

Back on the settings > update & security > Recovery > roll back to a previous operating system

This will only work if the windows.old and 2 hidden folders ($Windows. ~ WS & Windows $. ~ BT) are still present.  If you do that you will need to re - install.

Creating a new partition of your disk in Windows, is not always possible, so that also requires a reformat of the HARD drive, which is done during the installation of Windows from disk.

To reinstall from the disc you must first install the BIOS to boot from the CD if your machine

    Hello

You get this error because you are not having retail bought OEM PC came with Windows preinstalled 8. You can create a USB boot using the ISO image for Windows 8 installation and then insert it. More details to create ISO is here:
After inserting the USB bootable, try to run the update again, this time it will work very well.
Hope this helps, good luck :)
  • When I perform "All delete and reinstall Windows" Windows 8, it will take the product key of Windows 8?

I have a TOSHIBA SATELLITE P850 with 8 windows pre installed. There is no Windows 8 key at the back of the laptop. Thus,.

    (1) I like to use 'remove all and reinstall windows' own 8. It will take the Windows product key? If so how do I get my windows key?

    (2) I want to put up-to-date then Windows 8.1. After the windows 8.1 update, my recovery partition will be windows 8? or 8.1? If windows 8, how will replace the recovery with Windows 8.1 partition?

The key is embedded in the bios. It is not necessary for reassembly. Your recovery partition will always win 8 after update to 8.1. You are unable to update, but you could reinstall 8.1 if you ever have to return to the factory settings. Do a recovery drive of the new facility on a flash drive. See all recovery options available in Windows Help.

  • Can I format HARD drive and reinstall Windows 7 on the Qosmio F60 without CD

I think my hard drive is faulty on my F60 Quosmio so I want to reformat the hard drive to see if that will fix it. But I don't have the original packaging and the information with me at the moment so I don't know if it came with a windows 7 CD or not. Whatever it is, I don't have the CD.

I found on the net that most manufacturer who deliver without CD include a "recovery partition" or "factory image partition" which you can access during startup. Anyone know if the F60 Quosmio comes with a CD or if she has this recovery partition or partition image factory? Or do you know if there is a way I can check if my computer is it?

If you have more information about the formatting of the hard drive and reinstall windows 7 without the CD please let me know.

    Thank you.

The laptop came with a Windows disc, because there is a Toshiba recovery disc Creator called tool which create the recovery disk.

The recovery partition was available and it allows you to recover the laptop without the use of the recovery disk, but it does not work if the HARD drive has failed.

Here's a nice HowTo on HARD drive recovery
    http://APS2.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/HTD1303440001R01.htm

So, if you n t have a recovery disc and can not recovery Notepad using HARD drive recovery, then you have two options:
-You will order a new recovery disk
-You must install Windows operating system using a disc of Microsoft

  • Formatting and reinstalling Windows without the recovery CD

I don't have access to my recovery cd as I am currently overseas and I am trying to format and reinstall windows. What would be the best way to do this? The recovery CD is totally part of reinstalling windows?

I don't want to just do the reinstall and find that I have no screen etc.

    Hello

Well, if you have no recovery CD, you can install the Windows operating system from the original CD of Microsoft Windows. Then you can try to download all the required drivers will Toshiba from the Toshiba download page.
    http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/cgi-bin/ToshibaCSG/download_drivers_bios.jsp

But beware: you must update the drivers in the correct order. The drivers are placed in the right order, and it is very important for the new facility.

    Thank you.

    Hello

In your other thread, you said that your XP CD is damaged.

The manufacturer normally gives you one way or the other to reinstall; not both.

If you had a recovery partition, this is the information:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/document?CC=au&LC=en&docName=bph07145#N296

    1. Turn on the computer.
    2. Just after the first screen display (the display of the logo), press the F10 key repeatedly until a recovery menu appears.
    3. etc.

    See you soon.
