  Hi all. I installed the database in my drive E:\ and my forms in C:\ drive in windows. If I put my ORACLE_HOME parameter to the path of the database and then my form builder does not work. If I have the same point to the location of Middleware, then I have a problem with the connection to the database. Please suggest what can be done.

  When you run anything with Oracle Forms in your Windows environment, I would have your ORACLE_HOME defined in the environment of forms. As Oracle Forms comes with SQL * Plus, all you need to do to connect to your database is to configure tnsnames.ora (located at %ORACLE_INSTANCE%\config 11g-shaped) to make your connection to your database details. Once this is done, you should be able to establish connections to your database.

  The steps are the same, if your database is installed on the same drive as the forms or if the database is on a remote server.

  NOTE: If you run any utility database other than sqlplus to prompt (emctl for example), you may need to set the ORACLE_HOME variable in the command prompt window to do. This will only put to the session command prompt that you are running.

  You cannot import in reflow of Dreamweaver or Muse. You can export HTML (and CSS) reflow, but not import HTML reflow.

• Create a batch to send data to an Access database

  Is it possible to create a batch process that sends data to an Access database-specific form?

  The forms are received by e-mail and have been extended so that users with Adobe Reader software can fill them.  The batch would be processed on my computer.  I have Adobe Acrobat Professional 9.

  I'm trying to FND out how best to collect data from these forms.  If you have any other suggestions, please let me know.  The forms that are submitted are coming from all of our vendors and some of our installers - just to give you an idea of the forms how this could be, we have more than 150 vendors.

  I have already spent a lot of time on the problem connecting to my Access database and does not know why it won't work at all.
  Here's the situation:
  I use Dreamweaver CS3 with Access 2007 on a computer running Windows Vista (with IIS 7.0).
  
  While my connection to the database is running on a Windows XP computer, it will not work on my vista computer! It still fails the test in the BD OLE connection window

  You can download the trial version of PSE14 and try to convert your catalog to the current format during the installation.   Hello. I'm still a beginner and still regularly to seek help from the experts.
  But I do not have an alternative to the import and export Access tables with Oracle 10 G Ex.
  PS - I am running Windows XP.

  It is set up as an ODBC source Oracle.

  The notice must be in 2 parts.

  REM - start the Oracle database

  1 - set up the ODBC connection.

  2 export Access table in Oracle and import an Oracle table in Access.

  1 - setting up the ODBC:

  Open:

  Control Panel
  Administration tools
  Data sources (ODBC)

  You will see then 7 tabs.
  I used the first "User DSN" tab

  In this tab, click 'Add '.

  In the drop-down list, select "Oracle XE', which is at the bottom of the list. Click on "Finish".

  You will then go into the Configuration of the ODBC Oracle driver.

  You will be asked for a "Data Source name".
  Type in what whether, for example G ex as long as you don't forget what you call the 'Data Source'.
  The name of G EX later appears when you start using the ODBC connection.

  Description is optional.

  The TNS service name is a drop-down list. Select XE

  User ID. Enter the user name of the Oracle user to establish the connection.
  Don't forget that the user must have been granted connect and privileges of the resource.

  Next step is to "test connection".

  You should get a box that says "successful" etc...

  There are other tabs and drop down menus at the bottom of Oracle configuration. Pilot, but leave these as default and can be changed at a later date.

  You should see your newly created ODBC 'G EX' connection on the user DSN tab.

  Close the Admin Tools screen and Control Panel.

  2. move the table Access.

  You can use ODBC to Access tables to export in Oracle and Oracle Import tables in Access.

  The two will be in Access by using the tables import/link or export.

  Imports and exports follow the same path.

  For example. Export Access table to Oracle.

  In Access go to the display of tables and right-click on the table that you want to export.

  Select export and enregistrer save as Type, select ODBC databases in the drop-down list. (bottom)

  Click Ok.

  You will then get a screen "Select data Source".

  Choose the tab 'Data Source Machine', and you should see your named data source. (EX G)

  Select it and click OK.

  The service name must say XE

  Enter the Oracle user name and the password of the user with connect and resources.

  It should then be exported.
  Reverse the import process.

  Tips for Access tables.

  Oracle likes the names of tables and fields in capital letters. He doesn't like spaces in domain names.
  You may need to export the tables to one another access empty db to rename the table and or fields before exporting to Oracle.

  As said Ndiaye, the exp and imp utilities or the Data Pump can be used to export data from a database and to play these files in a database. It is probably the most common way to copy data from one database to another.

  You can create a database link in a database to another database of reference. Then you can use the database tables, or both in the same statement.

  Thanks guys, unfortunately I have not found a SQL function that return the number of directly connected user. This is possible only on SQL Server.

  What I have is this: I created two fields in my database: a 'DB_is_used' flag and a "Username" field, and each user how want to use the database, should check these fields if it is empty, it inserts the name of its PC and use the database. Or, if the field is not empty, it will see a popup message displays the user name 'book' this database and the hedisconnect of him immediately.

  It works for me and I am satisfied.

  I'm working on labview (signal acquisition and insertion into a database) and visual studio (Web page design) and I faced this problem when the Web page tries to update the database of microsoft Data Access.

  Whenever I VI, DQA will acquire analog input from a circuit and pass the value in a database for the Web page retrieve and update and display the latest data on the Web page. But for some reason, whenever I run the VI, the data refresh is is arrested to the Web page and updates only when I stopped the vi and whenever I try to refresh the page, it will display a runtime error.   the application directory is read-only. App-storage is read/write. If you have an existing database file that was installed in the application directory, you must copy it into the directory app-storage. Also, keep in mind that, if the application is uninstalled, all this information is also deleted.
