Is it possible to install another Vista?

It is on another partition? I want to use a Vista for gaming and another, so I can work, but I just got these two recovery disks and bizarre Application and I don't know if there is any way I could install another system that works. Unless I want to delete a hard drive, I think.

This issue of good s. I've never tried to do this but Vista and Windows XP Home edition works perfectly in particular if the Vista is preinstalled on the second partition. In this case you don't need an additional Boot Manager.

Why don't you try to do? Post about your experience.
Believe me, you are the first person with this issue.

    Is it possible to install another OS on slim select bay HARD drive (apart from the one which lies on native HARD disk).

    I intend to add a Bay slim HARD drive to my Tecra M5.

    Although I can't guarantee the procedure myself, I don't see why not. If you install two or more operating systems on a single drive on separate partitions, it should work on an extra HDD as well, in my opinion.

    Another question is what OS and what happens to manage the boot sequence. For example, installing Microsoft XP destroys GRUB, installing Linux after XP. Two OSes MS coexist together very well usually, but to be on the safe side, it does not hurt if the OS later (by release date) is installed second.

  • Satellite A100-188: it is possible to install Windows Vista?

    I buy the Satellite A100-188 and use the laptop with Vista. is the laptop Vista Ready (all pilot them aviable?)

    Hello

    As you know the Microsoft Windows Vista is not official on the market and Toshiba doesn't provide laptops equipped with this OS.
    The fact is that, currently, no Toshiba drivers are available for Windows Vita.
    If you install Vista on the unit you will not be able to use the special features of Toshiba as FN, for example energy saving keys.

    As far as I know generally the Vista operating system needs to more then 256 MB of RAM and about 7 GB on the HARD disk

    Hello

    You can order a keyboard with available in English to a local Toshiba ASP.
    Or you can view certain Web pages of the auction to get a second hand keyboard.

    The pilots could be downloaded from the European pilot page Toshiba. L300-2CZ belongs to PSLB8E so you can check the drivers that are released for PSLB8E L300 series

    If you have your recovery media and safed your important data, you should give it a try. Should work with many keys, but not all, as I've read so far. Has worked for me, so chances might be good for you too.

  • Is it possible to install Vista 64 with and key to Vista 32 on Satellite A200

    Hey there ' All!

    I bought a Satellite A200 coming with a 32-bit Home premium Vista. I also added 4 GB of RAM, and I would like to install the 64 version to take advantage of the full range of memory.
    Does anyone know if it is possible to get a 'free' DVD of the corresponding 64-bit version?

    Thank you

    To my knowledge, this is NOT possible. Each single Vista operating system use a different key!
    If you need a 64 bit OS then you must buy it and you will get a new key!

    # You have need Vista compatible drivers - it's the only way it will work.  Installing bad drivers can even to hurt the unit or even your system to not try.  Get a new USB device that works with Vista, and has the correct drivers.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

    I have baught a new portable computer and you want to install windows vista (32-bit) on a bootable partition that it will be possible to do it with windows 7 (64-bit)

    the laptop contained Home Basic windows 7 (64-bit) and I want to install windows vista Home premium (32 bit) on a bootable partition that it will be possible to do or tell me the parallel method to move a certain 32-bit operating system...

    I do not understand your question. If the laptop can run Windows Vista, it can probably run Windows 7 too.

    To run Windows 7 64-bit, the processor must be a minimum Core 2 Duo.

    System requirements:

    * 1 gigahertz (GHz) or faster 32-bit (x 86) or 64-bit (x 64) processor

    * 1 gigabyte (GB) of RAM (32-bit) or 2 GB RAM (64-bit)

    * 16 GB of disk space available (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit)

    * Peripheral figure DirectX 9 with WDDM 1.0 or higher driver

  • Desktop HP Pavilion p6310y: need standalone Serial ATA Drivers to install Windows Vista on Pavilion p6310y

    I bought your desktop Pavilion p6310y on eBay, and I really like it. I installed Windows 7 Ultimate on it without problem. For the purposes of running the software (in particular, Microsoft Virtual PC 2007), I also want to install Windows Vista Ultimate on it, on another partition.

    I was under the impression that Windows Vista Home Premium 64 - Bit was originally installed the operating system when this system was released, however, when I start the installation support Windows Vista (which I created from a downloaded ISO), it requires additional drivers (no doubt, Serial ATA drivers) before instalatio, also no hard drives appear in the drive list. Anyone know where I can get these independent Serial ATA driver files? The controller is a NVIDIA nForce Serial ATA controller. I do not have the recovery of original installation disks and don't think that it would be possible to get to this point, this system is no longer supported by HP.

    Any help would be appreciated. TIA.

    Mark W. Stroberg

    Hi, Mark:

    I compressed upwards and tied the driver for the sata raid controller, you require to the nvidia chipset, that your PC has below.

    The best way to install the driver is as follows...

    Extract (copy) the files on a USB FlashDrive without any folder.

    With the flash player and the support of Vista installation in the machine, boot from the Vista installation media.

    After selecting the install now option, select the training - Advanced menu, Options and select the option load a driver.

    You should now see the storage driver files listed.

    If you check the box, it only includes the compatible driver.

    Follow the prompts and I hope that Vista will install.
