printers usb & WRT610N

You can use the usb port on the wrt610n to connect a usb printer?

Linksys sheets only speak of "storage link" via the port usb. so I wanted to make sure this function has been included, as most of the routers with this kind of equipment also comes with a print server... :/

N ° do not use a printer. There is a storage link to connect a hard disk. It is not a print server.

I tried 4 different usb printers on my computer and none of them works. Windows detects the fine and installs all the drivers. But at the end it says that there is a problem cause the specified port is unknown. I have all the drivers installed and functional usb including support of the usb printer. And they all say it works very well.

I did some tests about 18 months back to connect printers, USB connection or wireless at the same time with a few computers (only 1 connected via USB) and the tests worked. I can't find the model of your printer, so I can't say more.

  • PC won't turn on after that heating is triggered off the coast

I knew better than that, but was cold and could not get any other energy sources in the room.

Connected to my HP Pavilion all-in-One (Windows 7), include I - couple additional HDs, 2 printers (because my wireless HP printer jam printer again and made a clicking noise when you send something to print, but it won't pull the paper but I will post only under printers), USB hub and speakers and the Sub.

Switching on of all this is two small regular bands and a 450va Fellows Battery Back Up Power, that power more fellows to strip something happened and the Stoppers on the work on one side. : (

Last night it was cold so I went and got a little radiator and not be able to access another electric taken in the room, I plugged it in one of the smaller bands that had the outputs more available. The Unit carried out an hour or two and everything seemed fine.

When I got up to walk out of the room, I fell a little more of the heater and it farm and therefore part of the office, but I can see a printer is turned on. I just checked the heating on another outlet and it works fine.

I checked all power strips and smaller Exchange, one of the oldest with a little again, bit a wider power seems to come from all power strips. I know I need to check each of them with a little to make sure they really are producting power, just not a light on for some reason any.

But the Bureau not power anything. I just read something where it says to unplug the PC and leave that he unplugged for a minute, then after a minute hold button power/start on the PC for 30 seconds, then plug the backend to see if it works. HE HAS NOTHING. I read, where he said it was supposed to take care of any problems with the 'crowbar' in the power circuit, and I don't even know if it is compared to my computer.

I'll pay more with swapping power supplied and plug things on them, but other suggestions would be much APPRECIATED!

ONLY connect the computer & monitor in one outlet. Bypass all these power cascading several bands. Then perform the tests appropriate to the device. Here's a general tutorial.

  • LaserJet4 more: Windows 10 driver for HP printer

My printer LaserJet4 Plus worked fine on Windows 8. However, when I upgraded to Windows 10, the printer is not recognized. What can I do now?

The solution worked. However, when you get to step 6 'use an existing Port', I selected 2 USB because my PC has all ports USB 2. The printer has not received the documents for printing. There was an error message which I don't remember. As my LaserJet 4 Plus printer is almost twenty years old, I changed the selected port USB 1. The printer worked fine. I guess for the old and almost obsolete printers USB 1 could be recognizable option.

Hi, a few days ago, I restored the system to my computer because it showed no hard disks that have been added to the computer. I had no problem before, so I restored the system to the same day. AGTER system restore, my computer would not start. Well, it's not to the point where I'm supposed to pick a user, but instead of a list of users, it shows 'windows xp' on a blue background. I turned the computer off tension and Trier to start in "safe mode", but it did not help. What should I do? Thank you.
