is it possible to open a previous version from a psd?

While I tried to convert an image into a pdf file it wouldn't save the item correctly. My computer had problems with the large size of the element, so I had to restart. I saved the image as a psd, so I won't lose the final version of the document that I created, and now that I opened the psd, once again, the image is flattened to just layer rather than the 35ish layers, I was playing with that. Is there a way I can get the psd who was previously conducted before the last record.

No, no, unless you use something like Time Machine (Mac) or the history of the files (Windows).

My own tests, historical files don't actually works very well and is not a good substitute for a regular backup process.

You may recover your file since your regular backup.  You make backups, right?  You should be; I recommend every night.


There is a witch hunt has reported time to other where saving files to PDF, and then later saved as PSD, the layers end up getting flattened (or maybe it's an option that is disabled, I don't remember).  I remember that takeaway, it pays to look at the Save as options (Layer [] setting?) as a habit when recording.  I'm sorry I don't remember the specifics better right now.  Maybe it'll come to me.

    When you installed CC 2015, you received an option to remove the older version or not.  Have you seen that?

    If you did not remove older versions, they remain on your system.  However, you cannot open the 2 versions of DW at the same time. First close CC 2015.

    It's giving me advice. You should be able to update any project and it works in many cases, it is simply not advisable on complex projects. For me, it's one with a lot of sequences that contain a lot of cuts, titles and effects. One with many multi camera sequences too. After that compositions Effects connected through dynamic links, media card based instead of footage of codec, etc., intermediate are examples.

    With a backup of the project, such as an automatic backup, you can certainly try it. You can always revert to a previous version to continue working.
