    I want to create a personal web application in the oracle apex and be hosted in another site with a pretty URL (say xxxxx.com... If the URL includes a part of my name which is very appreciated) so that everyone can check out my page and if needs I can include this URL in my RESUME, but I understand that for my own use. Why I'm preferring apex Oracle, I just want to remind the old concepts and practical tip that is there.

    If this is not possible in Oracle apex. Could you please suggest an idea... ?

    The latest version of DAQmx for LabVIEW 7.0 is the version 8.1. The Readme for 9.0 also claims that the 7.0 is not supported.

    I want to have a scenario of simple failover with database Oracle 11 g supports EBS 11i with 2 nodes on OEL 5.5 times. Because Oracle doesn't support LVM in clustered environment, I intend using OCFS2. I prefer not to use ASM and don't want any fancy follow-up services. I basically would like the package to mount the file systems and start the virtual IP address and be able to manually switch to another node, if necessary.

    Is it possible to run without ASM on straight file system or clusterware requires ASM?

    I am studying serving them in Weblogic server.

    Could someone help me to find a setting (if it exists) in Weblogic properties files, which will serve the application automatically logs after "n" number of days.


    for example, in the D:\Hyperion\deployments\WebLogic9\servers\aas\logs directory, I see many eas log files created with the extensions of .log00001 to .log00427. Is it possible to remove these automatically without using windows scripts.

    This is configured in the logging of every server (servers-> servername-> logging) tab. Set the type of rotation for 'Time', to keep files and rotation interval (default value of 24 hours), etc. This will keep the files to a fixed number.

    I'm trying to migrate our new servers in a completely different field configuration, etc.. Never cloned before much less attempt to define new servers.

    Then my colleague registered and activated a device.

    I could not activate the device - even if my PC is on the same subnet and can connect to it very well (with the password provided by my colleague).

    If I click on activate it says

    Not enabled OnPlus network Agents will attempt to disseminate their IP up to 30 minutes and if successful will appear here for 4 hours. Try to stop power OnPlus Network Agent if it has been online for more than 30 minutes.

    Verify that the DHCP service is running on the local network so that network OnPlus Agent is able to acquire an IP via DHCP.     We even tried power cycling it, and I'm definitely on the same subnet.

    There was no possibility of entering an IP address no matter where manually - process regarding the "Impossible to determine an IP address local for all Agent OnPlus network on your current network."

    I ping the device and even connect to its graphical interface. It simply does not appear as any way to add this unit to my own account on the portal OnPlus.

    The On100 device can be associated with a single customer and a customer cannot exist in more than one Agent account. From your description, I understand that your colleague registered as a OnPlus Agent, created an account customer, and then active the On100 device under this new client.

    However, it is possible for you to have access to the customer site by becoming a sub-agent under account OnPlus Agent of your colleague.  And according to the description above, it seems that your colleague has already sent you an invitation to become a subagent.  The problem now is that you have previously registered your EAC as OnPlus Agent id.  It is not possible for a single CCE id or an Agent and a secondary agent in the OnPlus portal.

    To allow your registration as sub-agent, we remove your EAC to your portal id.  It is a manual step that I am happy to help you.  Simply unicast your Agent account information to [email protected] / * / .  Once I take off your CEC id you will be OK to complete the registration of subagent.

    Here's some more information about the creation of the sub-agents in the portal OnPlus.  A previous post jamwyatt courtesy of response:

    In the account that contains the Agent network ON100, you can add other agents, on invitation. On the overview page, there is a menu agent at the top that will allow you to invite the officers. Once you invite an agent, and they sign up, they will be able to see the same view you see. The design intent is that you set up a master account for your business, then you invite other employees and contractors to adhere as agents of this account. Each guest will need a Cisco ID and once that they sign up, they will have to be approved by the owner of the main account (same menu agent, selection "of Agents in waiting"). Using this approach, the owner of the company retains the main account and allows you to manage completely all agents.

    I do not understand your question... they have a GPO that prevents the user to see the guest SSID?  If so, you can't do something about that and have remove this restriction of group policy.  If you're talking of end-users did not pass by the portal page, then your is it connect to other SSID or circumvent your doing a mac.

    We test Vmware view 5 for an implementation of the medim scale possible. We have all the settings and it works fine. There is one thing that the sentence is me: the Portal Page. Normally, the portal page tells you that you must install the client and it redirects you to the Vmware View client download page. I know after you have submitted the form, users can join objects, but in the form itself, the attachment field only allows you to point to a file.     The portal manage a file as an attachment. Need an improvement would be asked for several files. One solution would be to compress multiple files into one.

    1. it looks like you need some kind of Single Sign-On configuration to do so once the user connects to the LAN, it is treated as a trusted user and can connect to WLP or any other application. I only did this for the LAN, but did SSO for external authentication system. Of oonsole of weblogic security realms-myrealm-> providers tab >-> creates a new SAML2IdentityAsserter. For this new add "Web Single Sign-On identity provider partner and imported the SAML 2.0 metadata file provided by this partner of external authentication." Then from domain-> server-> Services Federation tab-> set Admin general SAML2.0 and SAML 2.0 Service Provider. Post this question in the Weblogic Security Forums. Someone may have already done what you want to achieve.

    2. for the second question, I think I know now you have groups, roles etc in Oracle Portal (NOT of Weblogic Portal), but the old Oracle Portal. You have users in MS AD. Now, you want to import these Oracle Weblogic Portal Portal groups. It is not possible. Because the structure and groups of way etc. of maybe not same as stored in the Oracle Portal roles in the Weblogic Portal. WLP, of all groups, roles, rights are stored in files of LDAP (tillage front of WLP 10.3.2).) But at WLP 10.3.2, it seems that LDAP is not used but rather stored in the security database. Migration in a direct way is not possible. You have an option. You can create groups, roles etc in MS AD itself (see if Oracle Portal has a way to migrate the Oracle Portal to external ads). I'm not familiar with Oracle Portal.

    Once the users, groups, roles exist in MS AD, first configure MS AD of Weblogic Console and you will see all the groups and users in the weblogic console. In portal Admin Console, you can create roles right visitor and add these MS AD groups to these roles, and then assign these roles to the various parts of the portal like books/Pages/Portlets, etc. in the rights tab of the visitor. When the user connects, this engine of rights be trigerred and it can access only the resources of the object.

    For the first question, post it in the Weblogic Security Forums, you can get much better ideas.
