Serve the application automatically under Weblogic servers logs

Hello

I am studying serving them in Weblogic server.

Could someone help me to find a setting (if it exists) in Weblogic properties files, which will serve the application automatically logs after "n" number of days.

for example, in the D:\Hyperion\deployments\WebLogic9\servers\aas\logs directory, I see many eas log files created with the extensions of .log00001 to .log00427. Is it possible to remove these automatically without using windows scripts.

Thank you
Prasad

This is configured in the logging of every server (servers-> servername-> logging) tab. Set the type of rotation for 'Time', to keep files and rotation interval (default value of 24 hours), etc. This will keep the files to a fixed number.

    The applications listed under Launchpad, is there a way I can delete the ones I don't use on my MAC Air? I hope that I can free up space.

    Start the LaunchPad and hold the option key. The icons will start to shake and an X will appear in the upper corner of some but not all. Click the X to remove the application. Programs that have an X are only purchased/downloaded from the App Store. Integrated programs in Mac OS (like Safari) or programs you have downloaded/purchased elsewhere will not be a X. You should not delete (or move) programs such as Safari and Mail (built-in programs) because the update from Apple guess they were be on your computer in their installation location. Weird things happen if they are moved or deleted.

    Programs you don't purchase/download from the App Store can be deleted without the help of the dashboard, but you must be careful about this. Third party programs can be installed in different ways: some come in disk images and are trained in your application forms. These can be moved without danger in the trash. Some are installed using an installation program, and these require a little care to remove. In some cases, they set up items in addition to the program and require a special uninstall program, but this is not true in all cases. I always do the note of programs using a Setup program, so I can make sure I have properly uninstall.

  • How to store/find the application deployed on weblogic Server 10.3.5 log?

    I am able to find the entire sever newspaper under the path [ Insert here the name of... \oracle\wls\user_projects\domains\[domain] \servers\ [here insert the server name] \logs

    But the problem I have is not contains all of the stack that I usually see in Jdeveloper console during the development.

    Yes, where to find the battery or the application logs, not the entire sever exactly like Jdeveloper console, where every thing is shown even the print statements (System.out, print ())?

    One of the reasons could be that a stand alone server normally has the level of different recording then you server shipped.

    Next thing I want to avoid using printing system to log messages. These messages cannot be disabled and fill in the server log, and only that, because they are printed to the system.

    Instead, you need to implement logging ADF. A very good article, which has several parts, can be found at https://blogs.oracle.com/groundside/entry/adventures_in_adf_logging_part

  • Applying the SSO for several Weblogic servers on the same Windows domain

    I have several Weblogic servers (developer machines, test servers, testing of clusters, clusters and etc.) on my windows domain name.

    I'm going to set up SSO for each of them. However, I would like to ask a question about service principal names.

    For stand-alone machines (which are not grouped, developer and test machine parts):

    Do I have to create a new user in Active Directory as "wlskerberos" for each machine on my domain?

    For the machines in the cluster

    Do I have to create more than one user account Active Directory for each Member of the cluster as "wlskerberos"?

    For clusters, les utilisateurs users don't see HTTP address of the managed servers that are behind the Oracle HTTP Server.

    So I'll add as an SPN and map it to the Oracle HTTP Server address?

    Finally for the keytab files, need enogh to create a single file keytab for all machines?

    Do I have to create a new user in Active Directory as "wlskerberos" for each machine on my domain?

    Yes, and you enter the spn with this user

    For the other question, please see this link

    I hope that answers!

  • Support/best practices to restore the application of planning between servers

    I have two servers with Hyperion Planning 9.3.1 (prod and dev) I want to copy the application called "BFS" Production of "NewBFS" - Dev server.

    As directed by our consultants, they said to do the following:

    1. backup the repository database that contains the application production BFS
    2 do a restore of the .bak file to "NewBFS" on the dev server database
    3. resync orphaned connections (from sql server connections and database connections)
    4 Ouvrezunesession planning via the default admin user ID
    5. go in the app's settings and change the URL
    6 enter the Shared Services URL
    7 manage the database
    8 check all the boxes and click Refresh
    9 go to SSP and resynchronize the native directory users

    However then try to connect in planning with something other than «admin", we receive an error «user xx is not configured...» »

    From my experience of db user tables are either still referencing production and/or do not have resynced correctly.

    If long story short... I can restore a planning application to another server, and if so what is the supported/best practices?

    Thank you

    It is in the hyperion\planning\bin directory.

  • restart the application automatically

    Hi all

    I apply BB who have two modules of the application, (two classes extends UIApplication).

    which acts as a server and client

    How do I restart on these two applications without affecting the other module?

    is this possible?

    Thank you

    OK, here's how I'd do it, assuming I know that

    PTClockListener

    still works.

    (1) I would like to add a GlobalEventListener to PTClockListener

    (2) in the treatment of the GlobalEvent, I make the code to reboot as shown previously.

    (3) I would send the GlobalEvent whenever I wanted the PTClockListener to restart.

    You will find this useful for GlobalEvents:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/global-events-and-global-event-listeners/TA-...

    There are other ways, bt, I think it's the cleanest.

  • The best way to connect 2 the application of ADF database servers?

    Until merge us the databases, I have a situation where I need to connect and to interview the two different databases. If the number of declaration is < 9 digits, use DBConn1, otherwise use DBConn2.

    I thought to use two modules of the application, but how would pass between the two connections in the code, let's say, a command button from the user interface with links?

    Is this possible at all?

    Thank you

    John

    In any case, you will need different display objects to query different data.

    The easy thing would be for create you to choose a database as the main one and in this database, DB links to the database. Then create a synonym for the table in the database, and then build your second view object against the synonym for the link to the DB.

    It is the best way to achieve your goal.

  • Code change is not able to update the applications purchased under the old ID

    I recently changed my apple ID and am no longer able to access my old email and the ID.  My understanding is that I am now unable to update my current applications as they were purchased as part of my old ID?  I don't know why is that?  Do I have to buy all these applications?

    Thank you

    All content (apps, music, etc.) are linked to the account which has downloaded.

    Have you created a new account, or you would update the primary e-mail address on your existing account?

    If the former then only your old account will be able to download updates of its applications (and potentially to redownload them store and allows them to a new computer). If you will be linked to your new account, then Yes, you will need to remove them from your iPad and buy them on this new account.

  • Is there an option for a default application configuration in weblogic?

    Hi guys,.

    I have an application deployed on a server admin.

    I access my http://localhost:7001 app / browsestore

    I want to access the application only if I enter http://localhost:7001 in the address bar

    Is there an option for a default application configuration?

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hello

    OPTION - 1).
    Assign the value of the 'context root' as element.
    It will make your WebApplication a default web on the server application...
    To change the root of context in weblogic.xml next entry is necessary:
    Example:

    /

    OPTION - 2).
    If you do not want to change your "weblogic.xml" and then log in to the admin console-
    Servers---> YourManagedServerName (Click)---> Protocol (tab)---> Http (sub-tab)---> the default Web application context root:

    NOTE: -.
    In the field above, please specify your root context WebApplications that precedes a slash (example: /MyContextRoot)...sothat after the restart of the server the Application will become your default WebApp servers...)
    .

  • How to make a single instance of the application regardless of the main application and the other entry point for the application

    Hello experts,

    I explain the sceniro of my application. My request is mainly a time system as well as some other features related businesses. My app has a landing screen which is actually a custom made calendar that accumulates information captured time. There is also a time where entry screen user at will has worked time and other related information. The user has the option to run the application manually at the entrance of the time and see the reports and there the event listener to follow the events of call/SMS/e-mail that invokes the application automatically and user to the scree of time entry.

    Problem one: I used headphones to follow the events of call/SMS/e-mail. When an event is called, alternet point of entry of the application the application is running. Application then get calls time, contact information etc. and push my entry screen with pre-filled information time.

    As such, it works very well, as expected, but the problem is the number of instence that he is creating. Each track event creates a new instance of the application. I want to keep only one instance.

    Two problems: to solve this problem, I removed the other point of entry and RuntimeStore to keep the running instance of my application. This instance of the application in a way keeps in singletone as such when the listener calls the application it finds that the application is running in the background. Then she moves the application to the foreground. It works very well, I mean the application user interface called on the foreground, but he won't have to time entry screen automatically as I hope. The block of code is as follows,

    public static final long applicationID =0x8ddc44508679bd5bL;
    static NSIApplication NSIInstance=null;
    RuntimeStore runtimeStore = RuntimeStore.getRuntimeStore();

    if (NSIInstance != null)
                {
                    NSIInstance.requestForeground();
                }
                else
                {
                    synchronized (runtimeStore)
                    {
                        NSIInstance = (NSIApplication)runtimeStore.get(applicationID);
                                            //listener initialization
                        NSIListener.Initialze();
                    }

                    if (NSIInstance != null)
                    {                   NSIInstance.requestForeground();
                                        //event's info manipulation and push the time entry screen                                     NSIInstance.RUN_NSIApplication();
                    }
                    else
                    {
                        NSIInstance=NSIApplication.getInstance();
                        NSIInstance.RUN_NSIApplication();

                        synchronized(runtimeStore)
                        {
                            runtimeStore.put(applicationID, NSIInstance);
                        }

                        NSIInstance.enterEventDispatcher();
                    }
                }

    I expect a guideline to follow so that I can reach the expected my workflow. Thanks in advance

    I can't propose to use the runtimestore to store instances of the application, as it was used on an example RIM, he has never worked for me.

    I suggest to use a single point of entry and the automated screen using a global event or status in the runtimestore.

  • Referring to data files contained in the application JAR file

    Hello

    My application needs referencing files in folders that are part of the application JAR. I have tested locally with NetBeans and it works fine. However, during the launch of the server, the application search for files in the downloads directory (where the JNLP file is saved for the launch). How can I get the application to search for files in the JAR file, where they reside? TIA!
