Is it possible to pages based on a specific product model under?

Working on a PC (Windows7) and Dreamweaver MX.

Plus a primary site, my business has several micro - sites. An individual site has been created with a Dreamweaver template to cover only the product pages of the site. I need slot each page of each product to be directed to their product page counterpart on our main company Web site. The area where I would normally add javascript is gray, which I expected, the only place where I could add code to would be so on the model which would be useless.

Is there a way to get around this? I was unable to find out if a Dreamweaver update would allow this amendment?

Very appreciated

TBH, MurraySummers, I tried the changes in the model, and if anything, lost all the titles off the child pages product, lol.

Nevertheless, it still does not work! The code turned out to be all gray and not taking into account the title tag I left there even as the last picture above.

I downloaded from a trial version of the latest Dreamweaver... Boom! Sorted. I do not believe that this in MX

I thought it would potentially be the DW MX dinosaurus as the question. Canonical didn't exist then not remotely so I guess that changes have been made to allow pages based on a template at least to keep them "editable" option What a palaby!

I thank very you much for your patience and perseverance.

Much appreciated!

  • Pages based on the recognized but not secondary model updated

  • Search page based on query with Table on Layershift ADF Panel does not work correctly

    Hello

    I'm on 11.1.2.4 jdev and deployed my application on glassfish 3.1.2. I've hosted this application on Layershift externally.

    I created a search page based on query ADF with table Panel. All fields of research are working fine on weblogic Server integrated and my deployment local glassfish.

    However, on Layershift, when I enter some criteria of research in certain fields, it does not record.

    UPDATE, it seems that the problem is with the fields which are of the "String" ie. Name. Fields of data type Integer and Date seems fine.

    any ideas please?

    Thank you

    kdario, you're right, ViewCriteria does not use the correct syntax for mysql for the concatenation.

    The generated sql statement looks like this.

    SELECT * FROM (select student_id, student_name, from  student) QRSLT WHERE ( ( (UPPER(student_name) LIKE UPPER('%' || 'Per' || '%') ) ) )

    as DB MySql does not support | (double pipe sign), its sql causing failure.

    in order to support |, mysql requires to change the sql mode setting in the file my.cnf (on linux) in the

    # Set the SQL mode to strict
    sql-mode="PIPES_AS_CONCAT,STRICT_TRANS_TABLES,NO_AUTO_CREATE_USER,NO_ENGINE_SUBSTITUTION"

    After setting this parameter, its working fine now.

  • Links of the CBC in the new page based on a template are inheriting from the previous version of the page

    I have problems with the CBC links when I create a new page from a template DWT. I hope someone can help me. Here's what I did.

    1. I copied an HTML page to a new site that I have created (1 Site) to an existing (Site 2) as well as all the images needed site and the CSS files.
    2. I edited the CBC code so that page copied to Site 2 (New Page) referenced the correct local CSS and image files
    3. I created a template the Page new DWT file in Site 2 but noted that the CBC links were still referencing image and CSS of the Site 1 files, so I edited this new as shown above.
    4. I created a new page, based on the model of TPL, but strangely, the CBC links are again referencing Site 1.

    I don't understand what is happening. DW is clearly still remember the original links and ignores changes.

    Thank you very much in advance for your help.

    Gary

    When I need to come a file from another site, here's what I do.

    Go to Site 1.  Open the file in Design view or Code view.  Turn off Live View.

    Go to Site 2.  File > save as new_filename.html in the root directory of the Site 2.

    DW should invite you to update the links.  Press YES.

    Close the Site 1 file.

    Check the file links 2 Site to ensure that they document.

    Validate code & solve the errors reported.

    When you are completely satisfied with your document, click file > save as template.

    DW will ask you to insert editable regions for content that changes from one page to another.  To do this and save your template.

    Close the model.

    File > new > Site Template Page.

    Press the button create.

    SaveAs index.html (your home page).

    Repeat for other pages of the site.

  • Extract PDF Pages based on content

    Every fall and winter, I have to work with PDF files are hundreds of pages. Last fall, I came across a java script that I was able to run and it worked perfectly. Last year, I lost more than brain cells or acrobat dc does not work just like acrobat x. I need to find a way to extract the pages based on a word search and save these pages in another file. I would like suggestions. Also, I added the java script that was used last year. Thanks in advance for your help.

    Iterates over all the pages and find a given string and all extracts

    the pages on which this string is found in a new file.

    pageArray var = [];

    var stringToSearchFor = 'Total ';

    for (variety p = 0; p < this.numPages; p ++) {}

    iterate over all of the words

    for (var n = 0; n < this.getPageNumWords (p); n ++) {}

    If (this.getPageNthWord (p, n) == stringToSearchFor) {}

    pageArray.push (p);

    break;

    }

    }

    }

    If (pageArray.length > 0) {}

    extract all pages that contain the string in a new document

    var d = app.newDoc (); This will add a blank page, remove that once we are done

    for (var n = 0; n < pageArray.length; n ++) {}

    d.insertPages ({}

    nPage: d.numPages - 1,.

    cPath: this.path,.

    Start: pageArray [n].

    nEnd: pageArray [n].

    } );

    }

    delete the first page

    d.deletePages (0);

    }

    I guess you are running the script as an Action in Acrobat XI (as described in my blog). You can do the same in Acrobat DC. Just download again the GL ENTRY file (here: extract of Pages PDF-based content - KHKonsulting LLC)-then make sure that the file name is ExtractPagesWithString.sequ (when I download the file using Safari on a Mac, it will add .xml to the end - in this case, just rename the file so that it has the .sequ extension once again). Now you should be able to drag & drop the file on the new Acrobat DC icon or in the application window. You should get get a confirmation dialog box (or two). Once the Action is imported, you should be able to run it. To find the interface Actions, type 'Action' in the Acrobat search toolbar. You will find that in the top of the pane and right at the top of the collection of tools when you click on tools on the left side of the Acrobat window, or you can try to find the wizard 'Action' on the Tools page and click on it. You can now run the Action on one or more files, but still just, it will search the string that I put in the code. To change this. Select this option to change the Action. Suppose that you click the Action Wizard on the Tools page. You should now see the following:

    Click on the button "Manage Actions" and select "Extract Pages with String" then click on the button "Edit":

    The next thing you will see is this:

    When you click on 'Execute JavaScript', this follow-up activity will be expanded and will look like this:

    Make sure 'Interrogate the user' is checked.

    Now, you can save your modified Action. When you run the Action, you can see the JavaScript editor pop up:

    You can now change the variable "stringToSearchFor" and set it to any string of text you want to search or split the document to.

  • Please how can I create a page based on template and save in the specific folder.

    Please, I spent two days trying to solve this problem.  Here's the situation.  I'm trying to create a Web site for our school.  I created a master template which I intend to use as a base for each teacher's webpage.  I also created folders for each teacher, teachers had to send me their weekly updates what duties inlude, photos and downloads.

    Here's the problem: whenever I have to create a page based on the template of the page is created in the root folder.  There is no way to create pages in the files of specific teachers.  I save the page and try to drag to the respective folder.  When I try to save the file, Dreamweaver he re-recorded in the root folder.  If I try to view the html file in the folder of the teacher that the overview does not load.  I have three books of refernce DW, including the Missing Manual and no of them don't address this problem.  Neither is Adobe.

    Surely someone here created a page based on a template and placed in a folder without breaking all the paths.  Why DW does not provide a way to save a page template based in a specific folder.

    Thank you all for responding.  The problem was that I was using DW on my macbook.  To access save as function I finally understood that you must click on the small triangle next to the name. not the Favorites or recent locations triangle.  Lost two days trying to understand cela.  Incredible.

  • Redirect to 3 different pages based on the value of the Auto complete field.

    Hi friends,

    I use a "Auto complete field" in a page for research (Apex version 4.0). But I need to get the values of the 3 tables and when you click on the redirection of the value to one of the 3 pages based on the value.

    For example, I have 3 tables. 1 customer 2 Sites 3.Employees. When I enter "c" in the search field, I need to get values of 3 tables in this area "AutoComplete". That is to say, if I have a customer with the name "cusotmer1", "customer2" and the location with the names of "cisc1", "cisc2" and employees with the name "cid1", "cid2"; When I enter "c" in the FQDN of the auto all 6 values must be given in the "AutoComplete" box and clicking on "customer1" / "customer2" need to redirect to the 'customer' page When you click on 'cisc1' / 'cisc2' redirect to 'site' when clicking on "cid1" / "cid2" redirect to the page of the employees. Is there a way to do this. Help, please.

    Kind regards

  • How can I insert spry accordion in pages based on a template?

    I made a few pages based on a template. Then I wanted to put accordion spry on some of these pages based on a template.

    When I try to place an editable in spry Dreamveawer CS5 icon stops.

    It does not allow me to spry accordion in an editable region in model or saying that I should put in the locked region. When I try it stops. In fact, what I need, it is to use spry in only a few pages based on a template. I guess I need to do the head and waistcoat is editable. I tried this but I failed.

    How can I achieve this?

    Thanks in advance for any help

    Show me your code first, please.

  • Pages based on the template is displayed in the preview

    Hi all. I am a newbie to Dreamweaver and I have a problem with a site that was NOT created by me, but asked me to make a few simple changes to various pages (ha!). I downloaded the previous files of designers (via ftp) and did not transfer anything from the original location. Whenever I open my .shtml files (all) and try to preview in a browser, nothing in the template files mode is displayed.

    For example, this is what I see in Dreamweaver (design mode):

    Picture 1.png

    and when I saw the file in Firefox or Safari, that's what I see:

    Picture 2.png

    I made sure the Styles of rendering/display/display Style is checked indeed.

    Any ideas why the model elements show not on the preview? I even created a new page based on the template with the same results. Just for fun, the code for the template file is below.

    Thank you

    Kim

    Just a guess, but it seems that the site uses SSI (shtml extension and there is a ssi include in your model). You will probably need a testserver running (like XAMPP) on your local system for this preview in a browser.

  • Preload an image in a page based on a model

    I have a fairly simple problem here, there must be a simple solution. I hope!

    I have a site whose pages are all based on a model of DW. On each page, there is only one image (a different on every page) I want to have preload. It is not part of all bearings but is an important graphic element and it's distracting that it is the last to load each time. All I want to do is add to the list of prestressing in each page of the < body > tag, but I am unable to do so is not an editable region. I tried to go in the model and the addition of an editable region or as an option within the < body > tag, but it doesn't let me do and inserts it after the tag.

    I don't want to loose my pages of the template, I'm sure that the customer will have to future changes - the scale of the site.

    How can I do this? Thanks in advance for any help.

    > I tried to go in the
    > model and adding an editable or optional region to the breast of theTag, but
    > it doesn't let me do and inserts it after the tag.

    the editable regions cannot contain the head or body tag.

    Select the body tag in the quick tag selector (left margin of the lower part of the design
    window)

    then go on change--> models--> add editable attribute
    and add an onload attribute.

    in the page of the child, use edit-> model parameters to add the preload.

    Use or some other preloader javascript inside an editable region in the
    Head section.

  • Can I change a locked region of a page based on templates?

    Hi all -

    Well, to cut to the Chase, I have a page that is based on a master template which no longer exists. I need to change the < title > attribute in the cephalic region.

    normally, I just open the main template for this page and change the < title > tag it. but, as I said, there is no longer the main template (the Moose model name has been changed, I think).

    I was hoping I could just correct this line to reference the master model current, correct. but I can't find a way to change this locked line of text. Unfortunately, the < title > tag was not in an editable region.

    does perform a work around, or do I have to rebuild everything this page by using the new correct model?

    Thank you Murray-it is exactly what I ended up doing.

    I just copied and pasted the editable code regions into a new master, then make some changes to css to get straight. has taken 5 minutes.
