  I haven't used Director since MX - it is good to be back.

  A couple of the general question, please:

  • With Repeater indicator Dir12 is now possible to put an image directly on a video sprite reproducing / playing in QT?
  • Is it possible to put videos on top of the other?
  • If possible, is there a significant performance impact on video?
  • QuickTime is always the first choice for HD video playback?

  If I remember correctly all that was possible before, but only if you turned off "directly to the step" option... and used to result in ridiculously bad reading.

  Video capabilities (or lack of it) has been the reason why I've migrated to Flash in the first place. It would be nice to know just uped Dir his game since then.

  D12 brings nothing new. You can use a 1-bit mask to drill a hole in a QT/sprite member and display images through it, but it's that QT. You can also use MIAWs chromeless window to display the video/images.

  Yet once again, nothing has changed - see options above.

  Not if you use MIAWs for overlay video/images. Keep layering can become problematic however. Masks come without a drop in performance, although...

  Absolutely not. Video Flash or MP4 is now the best option. No need of a player install, good performance...

  Background image

  1. open the page you want as the background on image

  2. click on modify > Page Properties

  3. under click appearance (CSS) the search for a button for BackgroundImage and choose a file from your defined Site

  Center text

  1 highlight the text you want to Center in Design view

  2. click on the button CSS in the Properties window (Ctrl + F3 if it is not open)

  3. choose one of the icons of alignment that is there found

  I edited some first images in Camera Raw, and Photoshop (CS5), working in sRGB color and saved as a JPEG.  If I choose one of these images in the Bridge content pane, minimize the window Bridge, and then maximize the window of the bridge, the image appears correctly in the bridge content pane but the colors are incorrect in the preview pane of bridge.  If I resize the display in the content pane, the colors of the image in the preview pane get fixed in a few seconds.  Similarly, if I click on another image and then return, the colors in the image are correct in the preview pane, but if I still minimize and then maximize the window of the bridge, the image of colors in the preview pane are incorrect again.

  Windows Explorer displays the colors in the image correctly.  ZoomBrowserEX (navigation software provided with the camera Canon) displays the same image (same folder) with incorrect colors.  When I download these JPEG files on my photohosting website (PictureTrail), images appear with incorrect colors.  Where this problem becomes more problematic because with the color being off, the images are unnecessary for a posting to online forums or classifieds.

  It seems that the color in JPEG format is read differently by different software and is even read differently in different circumstances in Photoshop (bridge).  Is there a setting somewhere that I have to change?  Or some other problem?  Thank you...

  You say that the monitor is set to sRGB mode...  Have you checked to make sure that the sRGB profile is indeed associated with the parser?

  I ask because I recently had a conversation with someone who has a similar problem, and in their case, the specific color profile, that they associated with their instructor was one who did not work properly with all applications in all conditions.

  Using Windows 7?

  If so, try this:

  1. click on the sur l' Orbe ORB Start , then in the search box, type color management .

  2. When color management is displayed, click it.

  3. go to the devices tab and check the box [] use my settings for this device .

  4. Add the profile sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1 and click [set as default].

  5. close the Windows session and under tension.

  Do you see where you saw the differences before consistent operation?

  Yes, your scenario is possible. You can put SQL Server on the DMZ network and allow access to inside users. at the same time, you can also block the access from the outside.

  Let's say, your sql IP address is 192.168.1.10 & your home LAN is 10.1.1.0/24. You can do the following:

  NAT (inside) 0 access-list sheep

  access-list allowed sheep ip 10.1.1.0 255.255.255.0 host 192.168.1.10

  by doing this, you have not nat all traffic from your inside sql server. In case you have defined everything inside your network access lists, you must open port 1433.

  list of access within permit udp 10.1.1.0 255.255.255.0 host 192.168.1.10 eq 1433

  You should not add the ACL above, if you have no restrictions from the inside, from now.

  Could someone give me some advice: resolution of the image please? I'm sure Adobe Tutorials said that Muse automatically resizes the images when they are imported, but on the training course Lynda.com Muse James Fritz recommend saving to the web before you import. Is this really necessary?

  I'll end up using hundreds of images, for the most part quite high level of 2 and 15 MB jpegs and it would save a lot of time if I could count on Muse to resize. But I guess the more images you use, it is more important to properly size...? !

  Also, Muse crashed tonight, and when I have opened my site he told me that all the 500 - odd links had an active lack - no doubt they all have come loose somehow during the crash. This is not really a big problem because I using just any old images in the design of the site and insert the most appropriate when it is presented.   Sorry for the late reply. Muse will be re-rasterize and optimize images you resize, crop, rotate or add effects. Otherwise they are passed through and the original image will be used. If you use very large images, but need not necessarily very good quality, I would recommend to optimize these images in something like Photoshop using "save for Web". Also, more pictures the slower your sites Web load, of course.

  You remember what you were doing before Muse crashed? Where the images that you had linked moved? You can re-edit them by double-clicking on an asset in the active panel and choose repeat the link. If all the images are in the same folder, Muse should attempt to recreate a link to all the pictures he can find.

  Having missing links in the file .muse will have no effect on your export, as they are integrated into the .muse himself file. After downloading, all necessary assets will be on your host.

  Looks like there is something wrong with the SDK. Since you are using Flash Builder 4.7, I think that there is a different approach to the installation of the SDK

  "Clipping paths"? I'm not sure that I understand what you mean, but it sounds like something that is present in Photoshop and Lightroom not.

  Indeed, if your goal is to remove blemishes and stains on old photos, Lightroom can do a little of this, Photoshop has many more tools and seems to be a better choice.
