  DBCA, sqlplus, rman, etc. are all executables. They have no type CPI to my knowledge interfaces. No DDE. No message queues. No shared memory file. Etc.

  The interface of the OIC is to communicate with the Oracle OCI DLL client - and via, with an Oracle server.

  The only way to call/contact something like sqlplus executable is to create a new and separate process for this executable. On Win32, which is usually done by using the call to CreateProcess() .

  The process will take a handle to window (window console for sqlplus, for example). Via the window handle, you can send key strokes to the application using the SendMessage() call. Can't offhand remember how to get the handle of the window of a process id, but there's a FindWindow() call that can be used.

  If you want to read the final text of the sqlplus process - which will not be easy. You would need to hook in its context of display device to trap text output I think... or install a debug hook to intercept the calls (which your s/w case will probably trigger a virus of a service running antivirus signature).

  On a Unix/Linux kernel, I would rather to redirect stdin to a FIFO pipe and stdout in a FIFO pipe - allowing the ability to write in the "keyboard" of sqlplus and read from the "display device" my executable of sqlplus. But this won't work for console s/w. And I doubt that this can be done easily using Win32, Windows is a GUI environment without even taking support of std/stdout/stderr device located on Unix/Linux.

  Bottom line. What you want to do has nothing to do with Oracle, or BEAK - but everything to do with how to create an external process and do not communicate with this process.

  Computer XP crashed yesterday. I am up and goes on (new) another one, also XP.

  I plugged the old drive hard as long as primary and secondary road, tried to reinstall XP on the old disk, failed in both cases.

  When connected as a secondary drive, I can access (? almost?) all the files and folders on the old hard drive, but a scan to find errors is interrupted every time.
  I guess the drive is lost and trying to recover the data and if possible programs of this player.

  Is it possible to transfer program files from the old drive to the new primary drive so that they work, I don't have to reinstall all the programs?

  You can add images to your package using the submenu links Panel (top-right) and choose Utilities > copy the links to...

  And you can select the images you want first - or don't select None to copy them all.

  Fonts - not so much.

  But it's an easy way to get new images in your packaged file.

  But I don't like this to be honest. I'd rather far to create a new Package and call it 'Version 2' or 'Last work' or something that is just out of your file naming convention.

  Here's what I do. I have a lot of image files with several photos and negatives scanned in each image file. I need to individually select each photo or negative to be able to copy / paste into a new file, then by recording each photo/negative pasted into a separate image file.

  Now I have automated the process of cut and paste and record also some effects with Actions, but when I come to saving the files that I am always prompted to enter a file name no matter if I record the record as 'Save' or ' save under.

  So here's my question: is it possible to make Photoshop save each file automatically with an automatically assigned number? Example: Photo0004.tif of the Photo0003.tif file and the next and so on. So I will not need to manually enter a file name each time?

  Save batch is not a solution since all files I opened must be subdivided as 12 new files separate and recorded with different names.

  As for the version of Photoshop, I use both CS2, CS5 and could sit with another machine with CS6 if this is what is necessary for the job.
