  The following programs/features, also, have been installed on this laptop Windows Vista, which is about three years old (almost 50 GB is free 70 GB and I used the laptop for less than 250 hours):

  AcerNet management

  Acer ePresentation

  Acer eSettings Management

  Acer GridVista

  Plugin Acer Mobility Center

  HD Audio Soft Data Fax Modem with Smart CP (Please note that I do not use this PC for fax)

  Launch Manager

  Energy producer

  Please let me know if there are any program in the list above that I should keep it, because I plan to uninstall virtually each of them.

  You can uninstall applications you don't need. But some pre-installed applications may have to be run on the computer, so that it works the way the computer manufacturer wanted it.

  It is best to contact Acer and check if it is safe to uninstall the applications mentioned.

  Don't know what happened... but... this AM to day LR CC to 2015.2.1 and now I have a folder named "Adobe Lightroom".  In this folder is an application named 'Adobe Lightroom' which shows Date of change as 26,2015 Apr, 11:41.

  When I run this application I get info &... "Photoshop Light Room CC Release 2015.2.1.  Don't see no other record any other folder with "Lightroom in the name of".  What I find interesting is that the PS folder is named "Adobe Photoshop CC 2015".

  So basically the things work OK but the naming convention seems a little different.  I'm coming back on "if it is not broken... don't fix.

  I recommend that you do not uninstall the old Microsoft Visual C++ updates since all updates are essential to make Windows work properly.

  You should not have problems with the removal of VD on your phone, I am taken away from me and have not had any problems. But for the love of caveats, I recommend you of course a backup prior to the withdrawal.

  Mine was deleted 3 months (more or less) with no problems.

  In all program CC 2014 records, do not work the uninstall alias (mac OS X 10.10.3) - the link of the alias is 'broken' (it seems that the 2014 uninstall apps have been removed)

  In the dropdown of creative cloud, I get only an uninstall for 2015 apps option; I don't see even old applications 2014 on the list...

  As part of troubleshooting to install creative Cloud applications, it was suggested by Adobe personnel to uninstall applications CS6, download CC and re - applications download apps CS6.  Although hesitant, I tried to uninstall an application CS6 I never use (Dreamweaver).  Go through the Applications/Adobe Dreamweaver CS6/uninstall Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 path, I started to the uninstall.  Adobe Application Manager, then became unresponsive.  What is happening with these Adobe products that I can't install apps CC and now I can't uninstall apps CS6?  With all of these issues I'm having, I become very discouraged.  I like to use Adobe products, but it's becoming a little ridiculous.  I fear that if I am able to uninstall applications CS6, I won't be able to install applications CC or reinstall CS6 apps given the recent history of problems I had.

  Here is a list of the things I've tried so far.  Maybe not in order because they are memory and some have been tried several times.

  • Files/deleted files in the folder/tmp
  • Uninstall applications Adobe CC
  • Uninstall/reinstall Adobe Desktop Manager
  • Run the cleanup tool
  • Rename the files proposed in old_OOBE and etc.
  • I have tried direct downloads of CC apps
  • Tried to download from Web site, app downloads through the future manager, stalls at 42%; Setup using 100% of CPU
  • Tried to terminate Adobe CEF Helper (all 4 of them) during installation, none will end.
  • Disc checked and repaired using disk utility
  • Permissions checked and repaired using disk utility
  • Deleted folder of HEX containing Adobe CEF Helper files and tried to install again.  (made on a whim because I tried almost everything else)
  • Cleaned the Adobe ID credentials
  • Tried to uninstall CS6 app (Dreamweaver) to test if I could reinstall CS6 apps.  Failed

  I don't know what I can do.  Ideas, suggestions, guides, anything that will help me to get CC on my MacBook Pro apps will be greatly appreciated.

  Just some additional information.  I was able to download/install LightRoom 5 and I download/install 3 fonts.  Sync works fine.  Just can not install/uninstall applications.

  

  Problem solved thanks to Adobe support staff.  I gave control of my MacBook Pro running OSX 10.10.2 Yosemite Adobe, tight teeth and allowed them to remove all the Adobe products out of my laptop.  We have been able to download and install CC (2014) and produced CS6 after with no hang ups.  I did not lose all the work and we smooth sailing since.  Thanks for all the help.

  How are we supposed to uninstall applications installed via the deployment of Exceptions tool?

  At the time of the writing of this I can't see myself not class install as a stream of work supported.

  It would be a great help if we could have a workflow of uninstalling too.

  Most of the applications in the Exceptions folder can be uninstalled using the uninstall switches standard msi.

  That would not apply using Adobe or AIR that would uninstall it via the operating system.

  You are using a Mac or Windows PC computer?

  If using a Mac computer, go on--> Utilities application--> Adobe installer--> former names of applications and run the uninstaller for legacy applications.

  If you use a Windows PC, go to control panel of-->> program and features and uninstall the old applications.

  It allows to uninstall everything related to legacy applications, but your setting should be imporated to the new version of the applications.

  There are years that I upgraded from Photoshop CS4 to the CS6. Is it safe to uninstall CS4? In the old days, an upgrade updated your existing software. Now, it seems that the upgrade is really a completely different installation of the software. If for some reason, I have to reinstall CS6, do I need to reinstall CS4 first? Thxs.

  All versions of Adobe software installed in their own files. Updates do not install on top of older versions.
