Is my firefox 64 or 32-bit

Build identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; WOW64; RV:28.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/28.0
I would like to know

WOW64 is a 32-bit application on 64-bit Windows. It is the 32-bit emulator for x 64 systems.

Mozilla does not Win64 commercial versions of Firefox have not yet and probably not for a while yet. 64-bit commercial versions have for Mac OSX (combined 32/64) and Linux.

Firefox starts in 32-bit mode, he says Firefox * 32... How can I get rid of this? Whenever I close Firefox and restart my computer it goes back to normal. There is also another problem associated with which is that whenever Firefox is 32-bit mod I listen to music the sound always comes not as clogged clear. In an environment Microsoft Windows 64-bit, 64-bit applications are installed in:

    • C:\Program Files\

And all 32-bit applications are installed in:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86).

You should find a folder "Mozilla Firefox" in one of these directories. If it is the x 86 Program Files directory, it is a 32-bit installation of Firefox.

  • Firefox 11.0 32-bit, Win7 64 bit, FP 11.2.202.233 64-bit install finishes, lists only 11.2.202.228

    Hello-

I have Firefox 11.0 32-bit Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 with all updates to Windows.

I am trying to install Flash Player 64-bit Installer no - IE, version 11.2.202.233.

I close Firefox before installing, installation said it ends successfully, load Firefox, says Flash Player does not work.

I load the add-on Manager, check the installed version of Flash Player, it lists as:

    11.2.202.228

Which is obviously the previous version.

I've tried several times, with exactly the same result.

I also tried the links available on Filehippo.com,

just in case the Downloader of Bootstrap was causing the problem.

The full installation package no - IE 64-bit accurate results even as described above.

I would like to complete the installation of the new version correctly but it doesn't seem to work.

I have no Antivirus installed product, and I encouraged the Bootstrap Downloader via my firewall software,

Download and install the two registry 100% successful so firewall is not the issue.

    Thank you

Thank you SilkPhoenix, I just rebooted Windows, I rarely do and the correct version of Flash Player, 11.2.202.233, is now registered.  I don't know why it is necessary to restart Windows to do this, given that I have never in my memory had to do this before making an update of Flash Player, but it seems to fix the problem.  Moreover, before restarting Windows, I checked in Firefox, everything: plugins and the file name used for Flash Player corresponded to the previous version.  After Windows restarts, it now lists correctly as:

    File: NPSWF32_11_2_202_233.dll

    Version: 11.2.202.233

    Thanks again,

    Ferenc

  • Is 42.0 Firefox for mac 64-bit?

The US Patent and Trademark Office supports 64-bit browsers only.

On Mac, Firefox comes in version universal 64/32 bit (i386/x86_64 universal binary), and you normally use Firefox 64-bit version.

Do you need to use a specific plugin to display content?

  • How can I change my 32 bit Firefox v40 install 64-bit?

My Firefox install not work always 32 bits 64 as I want. I was even able to automatic update, something I have never done with software, but still no joy. Windows 7 + sp1 soon, I hope, and I think that upgrade from Windows 10.

40.0 Firefox for Windows from mozila.org is 32-bit because there is no release Win64.

If all goes well Firefox 41.0 aura Win64 for immediate release. He was briefly planned to have a quiet Fx 40.0 Win64 version but decided to wait for Fx 41.0.

Also, anyone who is under 32-bit Windows Firefox will be updated to 32-bit and not Win64.

Even when Firefox Win64 is out, you may need to consult the link systems and languages (under the green button on mozilla.org) which is www.mozilla.org/firefox/all

  • 64 v29 and v26 under Win7 64-bit Firefox bit every night are so slow for broadcast, only 4% of the BW otherwise directed by sam of firefox running Win7 32 bit.

Under my Windows 7 64-bit OS, I installed the Nightly Build v28 and v29 "internet speed test" and each time, I can only achieve something < 2 Mbit/s for my home WiFi, router gateway that is subject > 56 Mbps. The only Nightly version work was v23 which could reach nearly > 52 Mbit / s. But once I upgrade to higher version v23, all speeds normal I could achieve in nocturnal v23 disappeared. The same issue also plagued firefox v26 under Win 7 64 bit.

For more information, this does not apply under Win 7 32-bit OS - the same v26 firefox works fine for pure speed of BW near and > 56 Mbps. Why not in 64-bit OS seems to be the main issue?

What is going on? I appreciate watching you in and help out me on this dilemma. Thank you!

    Sincerely
    My Shao

Hello Shao Ma, when using speedtest.net or a similar site based on flash to measure your speed of connection, then it could be a problem with the protected mode that adobe has implemented for its flash plugin for firefox. Some older versions of f-secure or report of trusteer are known to cause slowdowns with flash, or it could be something similar on your system that interferes (maybe security software that block/sandbox the container used for protected mode, etc...).

as a solution, you could try to disable the protected mode and see if that makes a difference.

in case you want to solve the problem more far, it would be preferable to contact adobe support and file a bug at bugbase.adobe.com report (choose 'Adobe Flash Player' as the product & 'Browser Integration' as being the product box), since they will have to better understand the inner workings of flash protected mode and therefore knows what else could be the cause of the problem you saw.

  • Is there a way to possibly launch a 32-bit version of Firefox on my 64-bit Windows 8 platform to enable certain functions on a specific Web site?

SVAR (The Swedish National Archive) requires a plugin, djVu for scanned documents viewing. When he always refused to work after installing djVu what turns my webreader should work with 32 - bit and my new pc comes with 64-bit Windows 8. Is there a way to move from 32-bit and 64-bit Firefox?

And the longer answer, 20 Firefox for Windows of Mozilla.org is only 32-bit.

The WOW64 part in your useragent in Firefox 20 shows that you have Firefox 32 bit on 64-bit Windows.

  • 18.0 Firefox crashes when I closed Firefox on a 32-bit computer. OK in 64-bit computer.

18.0 Firefox works fine when I open it on a 32-bit desktop. I can open any Web site (I use one tab). But when I closed Firefox, I get the message "Firefox has crashed." It charges ok, but I've never had this problem with any version of Firefox before. I downloaded another copy of 18.0 and it's the same thing. 18.0 works perfectly on a 64-bit computer. Both computers are connected to the router. I keep my security, Windows 7, etc. updated.

If I can download 17.x, I would see that if he goes there, as he never did before. I would like your suggestions. Thank you.
