  The client administrator must be able to create the repair within catalog management. While business group Admin can make management of catalog objects to the title of existing services but don't get creative features, is why your BG Admin to add gray button.

  Are you sure that the name of user and password that you used is associated to customer Administrator role?

  To do this, you can do is compliant, wide system ([email protected]) tenant in default url administrator connection.

  Select your tenant in the list and edit, check in the third tab allows you to see if the account that you refer as tenant Admin is added under the customer Administrator role or if you are using groups to assign roles, please make sure that the user account is a member of the right-wing group.

  The command below will give you a report in excel format

  runcat - cmd report - C:\middleware1\instances\instance1\bifoundation\OracleBIPresentationServicesComponent\coreapplication_obips1\catalog\SampleAppLite outputFile offline - c:\report.xls - excelFormat-delimiter ""-"Analysis" "Column" type "table"

  You can run runcat - cmd report - help to see more options.

• Problem copying privileges by using Catalog Manager

  I tried to copy some privileges of a webcat DEV to a webcat TEST using the catalogue Manager. The procedure to copy / paste works fine, but when you check the TEST webcat, assigned to each copied privileged groups are not overall, which translates each of the copied privileges, attesting: (not allowed).
  
  I thought it might be due to the webcat-and-Play ID for the affected user groups is different between the two webcats but they are identical.
  
  I'm intrigued by this problem, does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing this?

  Try this: when you open your QA catalog in Catalog Manager, go to tool > preferences, stick together to preserve ACL. Now glue on your DEV reports.

  The system account and the account administrator (Administrators group) have the same file privileges, but they have different functions. The system account is used by the OBIEE software and services that run under OBIEE.

The system account has been designed for that purpose; It is an internal account, does not appear in the User Manager, could not be added to all groups and may not have the user rights assigned.

  Yes, it is possible with the Catalog Manager. Here are the steps

  1. open the feeder catalogue and connect to your catalog.
  2. Select / click on the folder of the report where you have your reports.
  3. now in the TOOLS, click on create report.
  4. in the pop-up window, select all the available columns and click on > symbol of all put them in columns in the report. (Select columns according to your need).
  5. to save report to, click Browse, select any folder location, name the file as CatalogReport.xls, click Save.
  6. now, click Ok.

  Which shows a report, as well as create an excel file in the directory you have selected.
  Open your excel sheet and discover the details you need. You can sort the data, filter the data, many options in Excel for play.

  I tried to install the software HP Computrace (International) SP64143 c. 8.3.0.5 (November 12, 2013) on my G1 of 850 EliteBook after upgrade to Win 8.1 Pro, but I get the following error:

  "The security application can be installed up to what the HP Client Security Manager 8.1 is installed"

  Please note that I do not installed the Hp Client Security Package Manager and some other similar programs appear to be installed.

  What is this supposed to do? Give access to the function of Lojack (the new name Computrace)? I also wonder if it would be a relevant problem to activate the service of Absolute Software Lojack.

  Anyone know a good event management tool that integrates well with Eloqua?  The tool would deal with everything associated with the event as: management agenda, registration, monitoring, reports, etc., but integrated with Eloqua in a way that allows you to trigger emails to confirmations, reminders and thank you and facilitates the exchange of information of contact/participant and campaign.    Think of something as integration between Eventbrite and Eloqua (although we are not looking at Eventbrite specifically).

  Yes. Rapid deployment would be appropriate.

  Also, as you do this for the purpose of learning, I suggested to be in my experience at least 4 GB of RAM. (because Windows 7 takes about 1 GB of RAM & remaining 3 can be used by the virtual machine, so 4 GB is better for optimal performance).

  I need to manage 2 independent of VMware ESXi servers, one based on ESXi 3.5, the second relies on ESXi 4.1.

  you will need customers.  Each client will be installed in its own directory.  The client Launcher will take care to load the correct client depending on what environment you plug.  However, you will see a shortcut on your desktop for the vSphere Client.

• Can not delete the Group of Catalog Manager

  We have a user who cannot connect in the dashboards. It seems that the error is because his user name corresponds to a group or a user with the same name. I say 'user or group' as the name of the object's icon next to what I normally see with groups of catalog. However, the object is only visible when is choosing 'display users and groups '.
  
  As an administrator, I try and delete this user/group only but it never deletes and no error message. How can I force delete this?

  Remove Administration-> manage Presentation catalog groups and users
  You can go to find or use "View users and groups" and then perform a search.

  To remove a user, you can go to offline catalog manager and delete

  The service console is still there in ESX 4.1.  This will be the last version of the product to be shipped with the service console.

  It boils at ease you are away of ESX and passes with ESXi and perhaps how much you rely on the service console.  On the operational level, things are different.  Do you have other agents or applications that require the service console?

  For Dell boxes, you download Dell OpenManage Offline and VIB for ESXi group and then manage it remotely.  You use the vSphere CLI or vMA to install the bundle VIB offline.
