Is "Speed Addon" a valid addon of Mozilla?

I just noticed this addon, and I'm sure that I install it manually. There is no option to see more info, I can only disable or remove it. I'd be suspicious? See screenshot for info version addon.
Thank you!

Yes, beware. I don't see the module listed on the site of the official Add-ons. My advice is to remove it.

  • Pages loading with no style of difficulty Mozilla, can not download addons

Once again the problem: any Mozilla site, like Thunderbird, Firefox, Firefox Addons pages display as plain text with no style. And only the mozilla sites. All other pages load fine. It also has (probably?) disabled and uninstalled all my addons. In addition, sync does not work. But once again, all other sites load very well.

This problem only occurs on board the MS or chrome.

When I finally sift in any page addon for the download link, I get this error:

"An error occurred during a connection to addons.cdn.mozilla.net. The peer certificate has an invalid signature. (Error code: sec_error_bad_signature) »

Here's what I've done so far:

    Restart Firefox

    Settings and clear the cache

    Restart the computer

    Restart Firefox without addons

    Uninstall/reinstall Firefox

After above, I uninstalled and deleted all traces of Firefox with regedit and then reinstalled Firefox.

I checked my firewall, antivirus, try using a VPN (all trying at this stage), updated all the other software like java

This happened after a recent update to version 40.0.3. With the help of Windows 10

    Any ideas?

Hi, in case, you're an avast user, please try to disable https scanning in avast which is known to cause various problems:

    1. Open the Avast dashboard on an affected system.
    2. Select settings in the left side menu.
    3. Adopt a Protection Active.
    4. Click on customize next to the Web Shield.
    5. Uncheck the option "Enable HTTPS analysis", and then click ok.

  • Cannot download Addons for thunderbird

For centuries tried to download addons for thunderbird (31.0, Linux i386)

  • How addons updated with new versions of the browser?

Bookmark Favicon changer is a blockbuster addon. However, it does not work beyond FF v23.

And there is no way to update this addon via Mozilla, even if the author has already written code to update FF v26.

What is the formal process by which authors of 3rd party addon provide their updates to the official distribution of FF?

Yes I think that mozilla developers are fully aware that a large part of firefox "success is due to its ecosystem of great addon.

generally I have always perceived the devs to be very useful when it comes to these issues, and there are many resources for the authors of the addon (forum, documentation, articles, etc.) - however in this case it seems to be a fairly confrontational stage unfortunately (bug 834457).

  • Mozilla asks me to install flash player - I have already (20 times)

Use the flash player to listen to BBC radio online and other things. Here's an example link http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b045c0hh

I used to do it without problem, but recently, whenever I try to listen to the programs I get the message "you must install flash player to play this content. Download Flash player now. »

I did everything online advice people say:

-J' updated Norton security and my computer is free of viruses and malware

-J' have uninstalled flash player and removed all the C:\windows\system32\macromed files in my c drive and then clicking install, downloaded the software, run the software and flash player installed.

-J' I closed Mozilla installation. I even let download Macafee, but I have yet to be invited to perform updates, I do not select the automatic update option by default. Flash player will now appear in my control panel as "Adobe flash player plugin.

-I went to Tools/Addons on mozilla and the plugin is set to "always enable".

    -J' even restarted the computer

I still get the same message.

I downloaded adobe ActiveX, and since then I can listen to programs in internet explore, but not in mozilla.

I downloaded shockwave but that did not help with content on Mozilla.

I'm running out of options. Is there a version for Mozilla ActiveX?

    P. S. I tried to put this question on Mozilla, but when I followed the instructions on how to post a discussion I lead nowhere. If you can't answer the question flash please tell me how to post a new discussion on mozilla.

    Thanks peeps

    Hollah!

Mozilla (Firefox) does not use ActiveX; you need to install the plugin: http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/current/support/install_flash_player.exe

Can you check if Flash Player usually works on Firefox: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html

  • I can't get some pages to load. How can I fix?

I can not load some sites such as Twitter, Firefox Add-ons, etc. I think that it is a coding error as loads basic Imageless HTML pages. I checked to make sure that Java is enabled - it is. I have reset Firefox, uninstalled, deleted the cache and history. I still have the same problem. When I try to interact on the pages, I get an error indicating that:

    "Secure connection failed".

An error occurred during a connection to addons.cdn.mozilla.net. The OCSP response is not yet valid (contains a date in the future). (Error code: sec_error_ocsp_future_response)

I don't know how to solve this problem. I tried to change the proxy settings. I can't find a solution and with my untrained eye, when I pull the web code its too. I am running Windows 8.1, the only security feature that I have right now is Windows Defender. Help, please! I'm new to Firefox, and I would like to see it better than my previous web browser.

The error message is very specific to the time between Firefox and the response from the OCSP server.

If you test in Internet Explorer, you get an error?

Deactivation of the OCSP protocol would mean that Firefox can accept as valid a security certificate that has been revoked, so it would be best to find a way to solve this problem, rather than disable OCSP. But if you absolutely must enter certain sites as soon as POSSIBLE, it would be an option.

  • The pages won't load right not and error OSCP

I'm having two issues probably related. The first is that Firefox is oddly loading some pages: e.g. addons.mozilla.org while in other browsers that they load fine. The second is that some pages not be loading not at all like the https://addons.cdn.mozilla.net/storage/public-staging/3682/add_to_search_bar-2.2-fx.xpi which gives me this strange error
    "Secure connection failed".
An error occurred during a connection to addons.cdn.mozilla.net. The OCSP response is not yet valid (contains a date in the future). (Error code: sec_error_ocsp_future_response)

Yet once again, I don't have this problem with other browsers - unless you count waterfox who has these same problems that probably should since it is built off the coast of firefox. I tried to uninstall and reinstall and clear the cache and cookies, none of this has had no effect. These two problems started at the same time. Seems to me to get the problem loading error on all XPI links, or at the very least, I saw, for instance, I had to grasp the info manually troubleshooting because when I clicked on the link to automatically add it got the same error (https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/downloads/latest/426841/addon-426841-latest.xpi) but it is not only get links that contains .xml files for example I first noticed the problem a similar site to the newsletter, I wish I could understand the name or even had my story, so I could find it. I don't know if the problem is limited to https or not because at the point where I had the addon https only and don't have it test the reinstallation. I looked in the settings of validation and the first 'use the OSCP to confirm the validity of the certificates' but the second one "when oscp server fails to treat the certificate as invalid has been unchecked. I unchecked the first box and I still don't have the same error that really baffles me.

  • I am owner of a Web site that is verified by google, but firefox does not recognize this audit. What can I do?

I run google ads on my site, but now the new version of firefox automatically blocks all ads in because my webiste is deemed dangerous, even if I have a google check that I can provide details if necessary.

My problem is that (relatively speaking) low percentage of visitors using firefox and adds monthly traffic, if I want to make my Green webiste failure...

I added the image from my Web site

Please note that Firefox does block all ads regular navigation. This can happen in only private browsing mode.

We have added a new feature in private browsing mode called tracking protection, designed to protect the privacy of the users by limiting the third follow-up. Given that the Google ads program uses third-party tracking, ads on your Web site can be blocked in private browsing mode.

At present, have no way around that because Google ads are the responsibility of the third party tracking category. Blocking ads is not because of your Web site certificate.

Note: Users can also block ads on your website by using a Firefox addon. Mozilla does not develop or maintain these addons.
