  There is no this term a "default workspace. You can copy the file design.dmd and design directory to another location and started working with DM 4.0.3 here or you can work at the place where he is now.   You don't mention if this is a cube ASO or BSO and which version you're on. If OSI, then a script to calc using a fix to erase the part of the data is what you want. There are references to him by the other prople. If it's an ASO cube, then you use a MaxL command with MDX syntax to make clear assuming you're on version 11.1.1.X or superior. If you are on a lower version, it becomes more complicated.

  I'm just trying to learn TestStand so patient with me.

  I use the sequential model by default. I added a few steps and local variables to my MainSequence. I copied the reminder of the sequential model test report by default and which added to my list of sequences as a reminder. I have since added a few steps to customize the reminder of sequence of test report.

  My problem is to find how to move a my MainSequence LocalVariable to my reminder of test report. What is the best method? How can I use an Expression statement in my test report reminder to recover data from the local MainSequence? What is the best method?

  I spent 8 years to do with threads of data flow programming. This passage disconnected data is very frustrating.

  Not sure know how you are with the RunState variable?  RunState essentially information describing the State of enforcement.  At this point in your reminder in MainSequence executing State is not known (even if you have a pretty good idea).  In your case, you are probably safe, but there are cases where it could cause problems.  It is simply not sure make a habit to access data via RunState.  And it complicates maintenance because now you have stronger coupling (not in your case).

  In my opinion, FileGlobals seems to be more stable.

  There are moments where the RunState access is needed but I would like to use it with moderation.

  Hello and welcome to the community!

  It has developed before... and the answer has not changed. There is no possibility to recover what has been removed from the servers of BB Protect... once removed, disappeared forever. BB Protect is an excellent element of a good backup strategy, but IMHO should never be relied on as the single component.

I've been using a modeling tool, so I can run a DDL script to create the database server data structures. What is the best way to move the application data on the server?   There is probably another way to get here, but in Developer SQL, on the navigation tree, expand objects until your table, right-click, and then click EXPORT... you will see all the options. It is a tedious process and it sucks IMO, but yes, it works. This is zero especially because 1) it's a table at a time, 2) If your data model is robust and has constraints and sequences and triggers, then you will need to disable all for the insert and we hope you can re-enable constraints, etc. without hitch (good luck, unless you have only a handful of tables)

  I prefer to use the oracle EXP command-line to export an entire schema, then the server target, I use IMP to import the schema. In this way, it is almost true. This makes the dirty life if you develop multiple applications in a single schema, and I felt pain - however - it is much easier to drop the tables and other objects is to create them! (thus, even if the process of EXP/IMP moved more than you wanted to "move".. blow everything you don't want on the target after the fact...)

  You can use method datapump oracle too.

  If not, what can be done, IF you have access to both servers of your instance of SQL developer (or if you can tnsping both already from the command line, you can use SQL * MORE), is to run a script that will identify the objects of your applications apex (usually by the prefix for the names of objects, such as % EBA_PROJ_ etc.) and do all the manual work for you. I've created a script that does just that so that I can pass data from dev to prod servers on a dblink. It is difficult because of the order that must be executed to disable constraints and then turn it back on and of course, more complicated if don't always precede you ALL your "objects demand '... (tables, views, triggers, sequences, functions, procs, indexes, etc.)

  If you export, import, all virtual machines will become thick disks.

  The upgrade path requires you to go 2.5 LM LM LM 3.0 to 4.0.

  When you upgrade to 4.0.2 LM 3.0.2, you will be able to change that vCenter is in use (due to the migration to 64-bit vcenter).  You can use this as an opportunity to change the vCenter is in use.  Just make sure that you do not change the UUID of the LUNS in this process.  Lab Manager associate all its virtual machines to warehouses of data... so if the UUID change, then it is as if you cannot access the virtual machines.

  As for the change of ESXi... ESXi is not taken in charge SMBMount... so you can't import from an SMB share if you went to ESXi.  This is a known limitation of the ESXi platform with no workaround and it disables the Lab Manager Import/Export, if you're in a pure environment of ESXi.

  If you plan to upgrade to 11g there is a utility, the new version comes with that
  You can use. As usual, perform the upgrade with caution.
  If there is not too many data models to upgrade I would manually as an exercise
  and ensure that all work as expected.

  In Publisher 10 g and sooner you can use a data model to the join and the structure of data from different sources SQL.

  In Publisher, 11g, you can join data sets for which Publisher can 'know' on the data fields. For example. In addition to SQL data sets, you can reach Excel, LDAP, MDX and answers. Web Services, like XML file are data sets that editor does not know the data fields, so unfortunately, no way to join them... I know.

  Also, true that LOVs can either be SQL or data fixed (i.e. the entered values).

  Allowing the Web Service as a source of LOV or a way to define data fields, it's something for us to consider for a future version.
