  No, brush adjustments are not saved in develop presets.  Here are 3 options

  1 if you want that ALL the brush settings, you can simply copy and paste the parameters of the brush.

  2 If you want just a subset of the brush strokes, you can create a virtual copy of the brush image, remove the brushes you want and which allows copy and paste to other images.

  3. If you want to make the same adjustment brush on several images, you can use autosync and brush the picture more and it will apply to all the other selected images.

  I have not messed with the masks very well, but you're right. The shadow does not work on a masked image.

  I got it to work if by nesting the masked image.

  I have a project in which I create hundreds of 60-120 second clips, all demanding the same intro-outro bumpers. Each month, I do about 125 of them.

  Instead of manually apply these bumper to each sequence, I'd love to be able to ask for the first or Media Encoder to find and fix the stops specified as a batch.

  Is there a way to do this?

  Other that the creation of a model project with the bumper built in sequences.  There is nothing that will batch point.  I suggest that you look at videohelp.com or similar site for a sewing tool (there was a tool for development called Handbrake that was a function of auto-merge batch).

  I'll put up a model for a new brochure that will require shadows on every product which is put. Is it possible to save a preset for a shadow so I need not re-create the shadow every time? Also this is distributed to many people to work on and effect presets would be extremely beneficial, just not sure if it is possible? Even if it is Indesign, and they are generally on the rise, and for this kind of thing.

  The eyedropper tool is a quick way to apply the same shadow to multiple objects

  But as peter says styles object is a much simpler way.

  I noticed that with iOS 9.2.1 apps that I've updated in iTunes don't are not automatically updated in my devices iOS during the synchronization process. I need to scroll through the entire apps list, select the update apps I want to transfer my devices and then synchronize. I'm not sure of the logic behind this change as it just to create an extra step and requires more time.

  Check this setting in iTunes is enabled:

  "Automatically install new applications" under the list of applications on your applications tab when looking at the device settings (the unit must be connected).

  OK and blows up you for not using the youtube converter. If you have an amazon account, you can go there and download it program of music and then buy the songs, or if you have an account log Msn on that range from music and then I think that you need to download a program by them I don't know, but do any of them. :)

  I don't think that there is nothing more to say on this one.

  If you go to the catalog tab and choose all the photographs and then run the menu command, you will see the number of missing photos in the catalogue (image below)

  

  You will still need to re - connect to them. But if you moved the entire folder the file will have a question mark after the name. You right-click on the folder name and choose the location of the update folder. Then navigate to where you place the folder and LR updates links to all images in this folder.

• Develop slowly when you change highlights

  I noticed that if I use the highlights slider to reduce the highlights, it completely destroyed Lightroom performance. I applied a "Preset" for all my images to import that (in addition to other things *) defines the highlights at-30, and I discovered that it caused my machine to take more than 5 seconds to swap between the images (clicks completely all 8 cores of this 2.7GHhz i7-6820HK mobile Lenovo P50 (16 GB of Ram, super fast NVMe SSD). Even though the user interface becomes available, it does not treatment. If I touch the brightness or any other cursor, it is very slow to respond. However, if I let the highlights slider to zero in on everything, it takes less than a second to navigate between the different images.

  Other notes on my installation and things, I tried:

  1. I tried to keep a separate partition for the preview cache (had no effect)

  2. I tried all different types of previews (including the amendment of the resolution of the previews) (had no effect)

  3. I am running on a screen 1920 x 1200 (if it's just as slow on 1920 x 1080), the latest drivers video.

  4. it runs faster on my station work (3.3 GHz i7 - 5820 K with 32 GB of RAM, all on the SSD), but still slow (3-4 seconds just to go between the images)

  5. sometimes performance will suddenly get stuck being significantly worse (10 seconds to navigate between images), to the point where I need to restart Lightroom to get it up to 'speed up '. This decrease in performance and a drastic worsening random happened through four different machines, I've used Lightroom on (post above work and P50 portable computer a 2012 Macbook Pro and a Dell XPS 15 (i7-6700 and NVMe SSD)).

  6. the files are 42 megapixel Sony A7RII ARW files and 24 megapixels Sony A6300 ARW.

  7. I use Lightroom 6.7 and tried the new "use smart previews instead original for image editing option", but it didn't improve this aspect of the performance.

  8. it's on Windows 7 (although the Dell XPS 15 was running Windows 10 and I felt even more slow)

  To work around it, I changed my workflow so that it is not automatic application setting of highlights, and then once I made all my changes, I select all and apply a preset that has just the adjustment of highlights, but it is quite poor (since I don't see that the output with highlights reduced I do my settings.

  The question is: is it possible to improve Lightroom adjusting highlights? The other top level gross editors (Capture One, DxO just blaze through even when the HDR changes have been made, so it feels like it should be possible).

  * Other things are: bumping exhibition, the whites, the blacks setting curve tone, sharpness, noise reduction and allowing correction of lens profile

  I don't see this on my end.

  With your fast processor and your screen (1920 x 1200) resolution, I suggest to ensure that the GPU acceleration is turned off.

  This was noted as a bug.

  The bad plan/performance was recorded as a bug. Developer SQL has not hang for me - I was able to cancel the query using the Panel on the progress of tasks.

• My queue says there 1 document sitting in it, but when you look at the queue there is nothing there

  I can not print anything because the print queue think there is something stuck in there, but there isn't. The small printer icon appears at the bottom of my screen showing the existence of an item in the print queue. When you actually open the print queue to the top, there's nothing there. I tried to stop the printer spooler and restart it but that has not worked. I use a HP Photosmart C5180 series. If anyone has any ideas how to help me I would appreciate it a lot. Thank you

  I have some difficulty to find how to use bind variables in a view, when you use an interface to MS SQL Server. For some reason when I use an ApplicationModule who has a library of MS SQL Server JDBC loaded and I try to click on OK when you change the following query:

  OF numbered_inv
  WHERE trialname =: 1
  
  I get an error stating that ' SQL Query Error Message incorrect syntax near ':'. JDeveloper is compatible with SQL server for bind variable as this query works fine if I replace the: 1 with a Word to say "Test test".

• Is there a way to delete custom presets? (First 11 Mac items)

  I have been experimenting with different output options for 1080 p and 720 p AppleTV and have created many custom presets.  I would like to get rid of many who did not give good results.  I have not found an option to remove presets custom tab share in elements11.  There is no available trash icon.  In addition, I have had no success in the predefined settings file.  Someone knows how to do this?

  Problem solved.  The predefined custom names, I used for testing were long and pushed the trash at the edge of the window icon.  By resizing the main window pre elements, I was able to see the icon and remove the unwanted presets.

• Is there a way to have Firefox to warn you if you try to duplicate a bookmark in a folder?

  I want to reproduce the functionality of IE in this regard. Don't hate me, but I went to Firefox, mainly because it can be configured to function as a pre - IE9 explore. Firefox turns out be better and more stable, but I started to want to surf as I understand it, not like Microsoft think I want. The largest part of the browser is just gravy.

  IE saves the Favorites as the files on the hard disk (they take a lot of space in this way if they do not fit in the MFT), so you can't have two bookmarks with the same name as to create files.
  
  Firefox stores bookmarks in a SQLite database file and does not have this restriction.
