Battery Back up

After IOS 10.0.2 update battery up to a considerably decreased, need help.

Hi amitfromranchi,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple. I'm a bit ambiguous about exactly what you describe, but if you say that the life of the battery or capacity declined after a recent update, you can check and see if a service or a particular application is to consume an unusual amount of battery. You can find information and the steps in the following article useful:

  • APC Battery Back for Windows Vista Business

I've updated the UPS battery APC back up software with the suggested program of Vista. But I have a question of power even with a new and work APC UPS. When my power goes out the PC everything stops. When I used it on XP the software would stop and disable the OS for me. Is there a way to stop the Vista power Plan, it is like I have a battery for a laptop, but it is a desktop machine?

There is no way to disable Power Options.  If it offers an option to on your PC laptop I suggest you use the same settings as for the PC.  Personally, I use optimum performance because I do not use the battery that much (and it suggests to you since you have a PC where there is no battery).  Power options does not control the passage of the CA to the notebook battery when power is lost - who is buried in some system files that I don't know how to access (and it probably cannot be changed even with a registry tweak because he was such a natural operation).

I suggest that you review the software you have installed (and installation procedures - it can be rules about how and when to install the software and when connect the unit) again - and also double making sure this is the right software for your version of Vista (for example, it can have different options for 32-bit and 64-bit, etc.).

I suggest you go to the technical support for help, because I don't think that it is a problem of Vista http://nam-en.apc.com/cgi-bin/nam_en.cfg/php/enduser/acct_login.php?myq_ilp.php&ISOCountryCode=us (you may need to create a new user account if you have never been there before).  You can also chat with a support agent: http://www.apc.com/support/chat.cfm.

APC has a forum like this also but adapted to the issues and APC products.  You will get probably more help, because the participants are more familiar with the products, software, and related problems.  Here is the link: http://www.apc-forums.com/index.jspa.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck!

  • My laptop is plugged in, but the battery won't charge

    Hello

In the last two months, capability of my laptop to charge its battery has degraded.
She went to a battery completely (100%), not being able to load beyond 98% and then 66% and 30%, and now finally, it says "0% availability (plugged in, charge)", but it never increases support.

Thus, the laptop works when plugged into the charger, but does not illuminate when it is attached only on the battery.

I rebooted the computer several times - first to stop the machine, then unplug it, remove the battery, press and hold the Start button for a minute, then put the battery back, plug the charger in and rebooting the machine.

I installed updates for "Stacks" (IE. Microsoft AC adapter, compatible ACPI Microsoft control method battery and battery Composite Microsoft) in Device Manager.
I also uninstalled the Microsoft ACPI complaint method stack and shutdown and restarted the laptop several times.

Earlier I called Toshiba support and update the BIOS of 1.50 to 1.70, then restarted the computer, but yet again, the battery won't charge.

I bought a new battery, which showed that it was fully charged when when I have attached to my laptop, but when exhausted 0% load, I got the same message as for the other battery: "0% availability (plugged in, load).

I am really puzzled. If not, how can I try to increase the capacity of my laptop battery?

In my opinion, old battery was certainly defective.
Is your new original battery, Toshiba battery or any part of third-party product?

  • Portege R500 works on battery, but after connection to the power supply is OFF

    Hello

Problem I happened suddenly, laptop computer workins perfect all the time, but since yesterday when I plug the laptop ac adapter will work for 10 seconds off powerd then and then lights - just the orange power cord icon flashes.
I checked the AC with my girlfriend protected r500 adapter - it has exactly the same model and its working perfect on HQ..., when I use the battery of my laptop works again correctly - any ideas

You can start your Portege with only (removed battery) AC power?
If yes it and when Windows is fully charged battery back in place.

What happens when you do this?

  • New battery does not work on Satellite C855-29N

    I bought a battery.

I put it in to the laptop and the battery light flashes just orange.
I tried to delete the adapter sector and battery and immobilizes the butter of power for 30-40 seconds before you put the new battery back in once, connect the captain and pressing the power button, but nothing happens. She is all orange blink.

I made a comparison with the batteries and both have the same numbers and codes.
I don't understand why it will not work :(

    Help, please!

I assume that there are some compatibility issues if you order the original Toshiba battery with the same previous reference.

I had the same problem with adapter not original.

  • Satellite L30 - battery does not charge

I have a Satellite L30 and the battery does not seem to charge.

The battery keeps flickering light with yellow outside. I can use the laptop when I am connected but when if I'm moving to much the battery seems to lose the connection to the AC adapter.

I don't know if it's the battery or something else.
    Can anyone help?

Please, remove the battery and use laptop with AC adapter only. I imagine that you will be able to use your laptop properly. When the laptop is ON put the battery back in place and let us know if the battery led will continue to Flash.

If Yes, I'm pretty sure the battery is dead and you need a new.

  • AC adapter does not work if the battery is not removed on my Satellite?

A few days as my Satellite does not use electricity from the adapter: he wants to only use the battery (so after a few hours, it stops).

Connect and disconnect the power supply when the notebook is on or before restarting, it doesn't change anything (if the battery is always in its place). The power adapter, cable spines,... seems in good conditions and I don't think they have problems because when I remove the battery and restart the laptop, the Satellite finally understands that he must use the power supply and not the battery. Then I can put the battery back in its place and load it... But if I unplug the AC adapter, the circus re - start.

Is power off somewhere? Is there a place where you can choose: "always use the battery and not the power?

    I don't think so, it's a motherboard problem?

    Hello

It is not easy to say why it happens. For me, this looks like an electronic malfunction of power supply.
But it's only my suggestion to be 100% sure that some diagnostic tests are necessary.
But the battery is ok and AC adapter works as well as you suggested.
What you can do is to check your BIOS version and compare it with the BIOS that is available on the page. Is there a newer version, so you can try to update.
Note: Be careful! Bad BIOS and update wrong procedure can damage the laptop.

But if you use the latest BIOS, so I think it must be a hardware malfunction. In this case, the only way to find the bug is to ask the AEP from Toshiba in your country for help.

  • Pavilion 17 "and the battery won't go out.

A few weeks ago, I bought a 17 "HP pavillion (so its new brand). I've been running it through the power cable for the most part I can't move it and use it essentially as a desktop model. I put in the battery or yesterday to use / run down it and then load it back to the top (I was advised to do once a week), but when I decided to take the battery back after it has been loaded, it doesn't move.

I tried to slide on the locking mechanism, but it won't move to the left at all. She will move to the right about 1/8 "(the cursor is on the right, as it is) and seems to make the plate on the bottom and under the cursor, pop up a little bit. I could easily put more force behind pushing the slider on the left, but I'm worried about breaking it.

I brought it. "a fault" and the laptop will be exchanged. So if someone else this problem, bring it to where you bought it. Fortunately, I'm still within the period of guarantee and Exchange

  • HP laptop G72: Battery only charge while turned off.

Hello, employees and others on the forum, I have a problem with my laptop currently battery. Are examples.

-Does not load when turned on, but cool when turned off.
-Port charger LED flashes between orange and white when it is off. (Although, when turned on the orange blink.)

I tried the method of discharge. (Disconnect the battery and Charger AC/DC, hold the power button / stop for about 30 seconds, then plug the battery back in and re-clogging the AC charger.) I had a problem with other methods, like I can't turn on the computer without the battery. I actually had this for 4 years and the warranty is already dissipated and it still works very well, except for the battery, so I don't want to lose, so if you could help me fix my laptop, that would be great! Thanks in advance if the problem is resolved.

4 years is about the max for laptop battery life. However, it should run/work with even without battery. You seem to have a defective power adapter - they wear out too.

Get your full model number or product and use it here to find the model of necessary power for your laptop adapter. Even if they don't have in stock, you should be able to find a way... Amazon, eBay, etc.

  • Question weird battery canon 60 d

Hi, im as a canon 60 d and it came with a battery attached grip. I then bought a shoulder rig had to return the battery grip for the follow focus work. However, after the withdrawal of the battery grip and taking the batteries out of the handle and one of them put into the device (they are dot.foto lp - e6) custom of the camera even light up but if I put the grip battery back will be... im so confused. If it makes a difference, there is no door battery on the camera. If someone could help out me id happy.

    Thank you very much

    Matt

    You need the battery.

There is a Microswitch operated by the door that turns the unit off completely, whenever the door is opened or removed. (Note: there is a similar Microswitch on door card memory, turns off the camera completely as soon as the door is open, also.)

Most of the handles have a place to store the door when it is removed to fix the handle. It's a crack in the door creeps in, on one side of the "vertical" position on the handle that fits the camera. You might look to see if the battery cover is there.  Otherwise, I do not know how you will be able to use the camera without it (or the handle installed).

  • battery of 6 cells S10 (celxpert LE60_c)

So I bought one of these 3rd party cell batteries 6 and it works fine, except that the S10 think it is in the battery 6 cells is used.

I guess that's not a big deal, but someone has encountered this problem and found a solution or problem?

Running on the factory to install XP.

It would be good to know if anyone is having this problem?

    Thank you

    T.

Actually I figured out with the help of some of the other forums s10, if someone else has a problem with the S10 recognizing the new battery test this:

    1. stop the laptop
    2. remove the a/c (plug) adapter
    3. remove the battery
    4. press on the power button for 30 seconds
    5. wait approximately 30 seconds more
    6. put the battery back into the laptop
    7. turn on the laptop

Now the laptop should recognize the new battery properly.

I hope this helps others out.

  • Upgrade of Windows 10 - battery not detected

Upgrade Windows 10 has left me with battery not detected laptop Aspire 5738. Already tried the reset of the coercive power, no luck. If I can't find a solution, I need to roll back to Windows 7 or be stuck with a portable desktop computer. Any ideas or suggestions?

Thanks to Alfin72 in the Windows 10 forum for a solution that worked:

'Please check if you can do a reset of the battery driver. Here are the steps: go to the currency manager. Windows with your left hand and hold and then press the key for the letter X with your right hand. Then select Design Manager in the list. Right-click on compatible ACPI Microsoft control method battery and choose uninstall. Click the ACtion tab on the top of the search window and chose any material changes. Let us know if you notice a change after following the steps above. »

    The solution worked great!

I also ended up making a coercive power, then reset because it is now detected the battery but did not load. To do this, simply unplug everything (including the battery), power for 15 seconds button (you won't see anything happen), then reconnect and restart. After that windows will appear, give it another 30 seconds, then put battery back in. Now, it's all good!

  • How to solve "battery not charging" on Aspire One AO725?

I've tried the general fix for this given by some people on Youtube and other sites, where you remove the battery and then uninstall the drivers / energy from the battery in the Device Manager.  Then cut, put the battery back in and resume, leaving pilots to re - install again.  But this does not solve the problem for me.

Acer forums do not list this question for the model AO725 battery charge, but they do not mention for a couple other models of netbooks, saying that the battery does not load when it reaches a State of complete exhaustion.  They update the BIOS.

I guess that's the next thing I try, even if it is not mentioned as a solution for my model.  This meeting on the 725 everyone?  If so, were you able to fix?

    Thank you, dergol

If you are in the middle of travel, I recommend you to wait that you will not be in a dire situation on the super low probability that the BIOS update fails, but with the Windows BIOS of today updates function is not really a risk, I would update the BIOS.

You mentioned that the netbook has been used in 2012 and was set up to your recent travels, which would explain a little when it comes to the battery. If the battery has remained intact for several years will noticeable impact on the performance of the battery. I don't think that the performance of the battery has something to do with a slow system.
