Is there a way to: export images in DICOM media in Illustrator?

I am trying to find a way to automatically import images from DICOM media sets (Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine) in Illustrator. To be more specific I need to load up to about 20 images of heart-slice of DICOM CD or any other type of archiving systems in Illustrator.

These clips of MRI DICOM display slices of heart pulsing in systole (when the heart is the smallest) and diastolic (when the heart is larger) and intermediate phases (systole and diastole are two temporal phases of the cardiac cycle, represented by numbers of time), at various topographic locations (they would be represented by number range, or space). I'd like to be able to enter the number of slices (space numbers) in systole and diastole (number of times), then with the push of a button to import the respective jpeg images in Illustrator.

This thread is related to a previous "is there a way to calculate the area of a shape?

I would be very happy to help.

Hi George, I can give it a try. I sent a message, please check.

Bruce, good to see you posting here.  I thought we had lost you on the Illustrator forum!

I'm doing exactly what Bruce said, and copy the contents of

    C:\Users\User name\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe 2014\Presets\Brushes CC in Photoshop

In another folder.  He doesn't come to much in material megabytes and also acts as a return to the top.   These display in alphabetical order when you open the Panel brush options, so I rename my brush sets so they appear grouped by category, but still leaving enough of the file name to identify the source.

Is there a way to export the new settings customizable toolbar for my laptop?

    Thank you, Tom

There is no automatic way, but this might work: in the "Customize toolbar" window, select "Save Preset," save your settings to a file and then move it to your laptop through the method of transfer of file of your choice. Then on your laptop, simply "Load Preset" from the same window.

Yes, you would need two versions for this question.

I tried exporting a PDF score in word format, but it seems incomplete. Is there any way to export the music score PDF to word correctly?

Very, very unlikely, unless you export each page in the form of a simple graph, slats, words and everything. You ask too much, especially given that Word is not a music creation application.

  • Is there a way to export / print to a pdf file which is flat? That is like printing on paper and a new analysis?

Is it possible (if not, there should be MAOIs) export / print to a pdf file which is flat? That is like printing on paper and a new analysis? (I do not want to use this last)

I could list 100 reasons why it would be useful to be able to do this, then please none of the usual "why would you do that?' or ' is not the right way... blah blah blah" which is too often here.

If you are Windows on a machine, you can print the file to the Adobe PDF printer, thus creating a new copy of it.

If you want to convert the entire file of images, then you can export it to the image files (PNG, for example) and then create a new PDF from that.

If you want to flatten the dynamic objects (such as form, comments, links, etc.) then you can use a simple script to do.

There are many ways, your request may be interpreted... If you provide information on what you are trying to achieve it will be easier to help you do.

  • Is there a way to export my document size presets in CC2015?

I reviewed a lot of tutorials and found options for migration preset in Photoshop, but I can't find anywhere document presets. Is it possible to export and share my presets of size of document with someone?

    Hi Gabriel.Casalett,

Document presets are stored in the file named 'New Doc Sizes.psp' at the location:

    Windows: C:\users\username\Appdata\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC2015\Adobe Photoshop CC2015 Settings\

    Mac: Mac HD\Users\Username\Library\Preferences\Adobe Photoshop CC2015 Settings\

There is no way to export from Photoshop, but I think, you can share this specific folder and place it in the exact spot.

    Kind regards

  • Is there a way to export the settings of the workspace?

The problem is that I work with a configuration of two monitors. One is the real canvas with a painstakingly built provision of the panels, the other has a window synchronized with a preview in full screen. Every once in a while I accidentally close the window of work area, and because the bridge only registers a 'current state' in workspaces, my window carefully designed just disappeared, poof (sound effect, no slang).

I know that I can save a double workspace. That makes it a little easier, but I must still remove the space of shoddy work and create it again as a copy of the duplicate. This, coupled with the fact that the first step in any troubleshooting on the bridge is to nuke all the settings, hurts a little uncomfortable with the solution.

I would be very grateful if anyone knew a way to export the workspace settings so I could just load back in when I mess up or bridge only.

    ~/Library/application support/Adobe/Bridge CS5/Workspaces/YourSpaceName.workspace

  • Is there a way to display image sequences as a "stacked" items in Explorer?

I was wondering if there was a way to get windows Explorer to display sequences of images in a single stacked file?
    That is to say
    Instead of
    imageSeqName.0001.exr
    imageSeqName.0002.exr
    imageSeqName.0003.exr

    etc...

    to something like

    imageSeqName. [0001-06000] .exr

I work in an industry where we deal with a lot of sequences of images, it would be convenient to be able to display them in a stacked format, eliminting need to scroll through all the files.

    # Is not possible.
This would require a custom program.  Managers of files even 3rd party don't work that way.

  • Is there a way to export create rounded corners?

I love creating layouts with Fireworks, but it always bothered me that there not recreate rounded corners.

When CS6 is released with the CSS Properties window, I was happy to see that the CSS in the Properties window faithfully my objects created with rounded corners, so I had high hopes that regular export include this markup... but it didn't.

My current work around seems very frustrating.  I export my file to HTML with CSS images... I get a page perfectly rendered with one exception... the corners are always square.   I will go back to Fireworks, open the CSS Properties window, then cut and paste the tags for the corners, one by one in the CSS file.

It seems to me with such emphasis on the integration of CSS, that the export function should include this code too.

I'm doing something wrong?  Or is it still a feature not supported?

No one can say with certainty what changes/improvements will occur, but whereas little has been done with the export CSS and image in both versions, I wouldn't hold my breath. The Panel is much easier for Adobe update quickly as the specifications change. The export workflow, is baked right in FW.

Vote, by asking this feature possible to add, using the Adobe wish form. Without your comments at your wish, the engineering team is not aware or what users want changed.
