  Hello, everyone,

  Is there a way to trace an image using Photoshop sketch?  I'm used to the use of a light box and tracing the images by hand which I can scan in Photoshop.  It would be wonderful if I could draw a picture in the Sketch show on the iPad Pro and avoid to analyze completely.

  I couldn't find a manual Sketch anywhere, and I wanted to know if this was possible before you buy the software for the iPad.

  Sketch of Photoshop has layers of two pictures and a drawing layer so, Yes, you can place an image into a work plan and the trace on it.

  Here's how to put a photo into a canvas:

  1. a work plan of open sketch, press (landscape) Photo icon in the toolbar.

  2. which will open a selection of menu with three layers as well as the ability to shoot a picture on my iPad, take a picture, the files of my CC, market, Adobe Stock.

  3. Once you place the image, you can move it to the lower layer so you can draw on it.

  Hi Sally,

  It is the wrong tool to use, but rather to use the clone stamp. Open the control panel in the Windows menu and you will see many options. One is to reverse the cloned area. Like this. Put the clone on its own layer like that allows you to better position and apply a layer mask to cover whatever it is unwittingly cloned. Cloning should be done with a soft brush at around 50% opacity just to enhance the effect. When you have finished giving the layer clone a soft Gaussian blur as this smooth out the look. Then flatten to restore

  Can you give more details? How can you see the side 'inverse' of this image? I don't think that you are talking about 3D in Photoshop? If you mean that you see the text "mirrored", you can use, modify, transform and back horizontally.

  I have not tried, but I expect scaleX:-1 to work for it. If it is not documented as supporting only the positive numbers, should be, and in this case, if it isn't, it would be a bug.

  Hello! I'm looking to help a colleague in a rationalization process. We display the full page of images in an Indesign Document, and every time we drop and image on a page, then we change the caption under the file name. I was wondering if there is a way to automate this process? All the scripts available?

  When you place an image you can activate the capture feature. There are the normal and live versions. The normal label creates a text is text, the live version creates a variable that would change if the image or the text of the meta-information changes, but it behaves as a single character which causes problems how the text will run in the text block.

  What is drawn on the Meta must be set up before in the legend, in place option.

  When you drag and drop an image from the finder or bridge you can not enable this option.

  BTW I use another way that seems faster. I assign a shortcut to the command of labelling and when I imported the image, I click on this shortcut, and secondly, I apply an object style that formats the text block including the paragraph style which can be different on a dark or light picture or a graphic.

  Normally, I edit all meta-information in Adobe Bridge, which is the fastest way to cope.

  We can change the image to something less offensive (even an empty frame - the procedure of which is in this article:http://smallvoid.com/article/vista-welcome-screen.html), but they cannot be removed entirely.  If you want the Welcome screen, you will have to live with the icons.

• Is there a way to replace an image file in a PSD in photoshop elements 13?

  I've got 12 PSD files separated, with a coherent in all documents, but differently resized image and very specifically for each of the documents. I made some changes to the image jpeg separately, but instead of the fall of the new image in each individual PSD and having to match it with ardor to the previous version of the image, someone knows if it is a fair way claim elements to replace by towards the new version of the jpeg?

  In each PSD image is by itself on a layer of clean, nice and simple.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated... It seems like a simple thing to do, I can't figure out how!

  Offhand, I doubt that this can be done in PSE, at least in my version of dinosaur 2. Maybe someone knows if this can be done in 13.  Sorry

  But maybe you can use the following trick.

  Here I chose the sunflower, did a copy/paste to create a new layer, and moved to the new area out of alignment.

  

  Change the blending mode of the advanced layer to "Difference".

  

  Use the arrow keys to move the layer so that the result is totally black.

  

  Change the blending in 'Normal' mode and, voila!, the layers are perfectly aligned.

  I compressed a huge folder of music on my laptop which is running Windows 7 - I then transferred the file on my PC running XP and it doesn't allow me to extract the files because of an "unknown compression method. Y at - it a patch or a compatibility mode etc. that I could use? File took 18 hours to compress so I will try to do it again...!

  Not - only used Windows 7 to create - however - I just found a solution in the meantime - I downloaded a program called 7-Zip which blithely opened files and all is well again! :) and saved me re-doing work!

  I work for a college that has a Department of more of 100 Macs currently runing 10.6 and above. I am the IT here and am in charge of the installation of all programs, so students use easy installation allows. I know that I can install it by using an internet connection and it seems simple enough, that my problem is that if for some reason, I don't have internet connection in the Department and I would not be able to install programs. What I want to know is if I can somehow create an image for the CC, such as Photoshop CC software, so I can create more images of the installer, put on external hardrives and install it without using internet. hope that enough information, thanks for the help.

• Is there a way to keep the images open in Photoshop 5 of 'collage' together?

  I am moving from CS3 to CS5 and I am innundated with "improvements" in CS5. My main problem is that I don't know how to search on something that I don't know the proper name, for example, until I was told that the behaviour of the zoom I want to disable was called "scrubby zoom" THEN I could locate and uncheck the box.

  This time, the behavior I would like to disable the "magnetic" quality that opens the images in a set of tabs, rather than bulk separate images cascading, as was the behavior in CS3. I want to keep the images, I've opened separate and not glued together.   You really should spend some time to learn about the new features when you install a new version.

  In Preferences - > disable the Interface 'open images as tabs' and 'enable floating Document window Docking. "
